Description: To debut the opening of the new Beach Selena, which sits on the western coast of the GTB plot of land, Midus has decided to host the second round of the tournament in this lovely place. The sun is shining brightly as the warm breeze blows gentle waves along the clear crystal waters. Boats, surfers, and ski boats trail the waters as a large crowd of spectators gather around a single large wooden platform situated out in the middle of the water. This platform will serve as the fighting ground for both fighters as they are transported out here, either via boat or by their own creative method. The platform itself is made of wood, but contains a solid slab of stone underneath it that is four feet tall meant to keep the platform from being destroyed. Though you may think you can destroy rock with your attacks, this stone is extra tough, meaning knocking chunks out of it will be your only capability, so don't expect to punch any holes through it.

Field Measurements: The platform is a square shape, with the distance measured from one side to the other merely 15 yards, which equates to 45 feet. You won't be able to run around this thing as freely as the last arena. The platform is raised a foot above water, so if you fall off, you can still simply climb back on. The platform is rooted underneath with a four pillars of the same stone at each corner, so it will always remain stationary. The pillars are ten feet long each (and quite wide), touching the sandy floor underneath.

Ten Count Boundary: Falling into the water begins the ten count. If the other fighter goes into the water, too, or makes contact with the fighter in count-out in any way, the count resets. This does not apply if both fighters are in the water. Only when a fighter has both feet on the platform does the count stop for them.

The flying rule remains in effect.

Other Penalties: Do not attack spectators or attempt to destroy the platform's rooting underwater. Doing so will result in a DQ.

Fight Ends: On July 9th, at 9 PM Central.

Several hours earlier on the far side of the beach:

“Are you sure about this?” the man asked

The hooded figure gave a small nod and the attendant gave a push sending the sleek boat adrift in the water.

The hooded figure slowly lifted his hood revealing his glowing blue eyes. He looked up at the sky that was still slightly dark as the sun had barely risen. He took a sip of water from a small canteen and then laid on the cool wooden deck of the boat. He had made it to through the first round without a fight; while he was disappointed he also acknowledged two things.

The first was that his time of luck was over and his next opponent waited for him. He would not get a free pass as he had before. The second was that he also knew his opponent this time. With such a highly televised tournament it was easy enough to get a copy of his next opponents fight. He had watched it a few times gaining what insight he could.

This brought him to why he was here. He could not think stuck in the hotel, reminded him too much of a cell for him to ever be truly comfortable, so he got up early and set sail. He would eventually reach the destination of the fight, however for now he would sleep, think, and prepare. He then closed his eyes and tried to visualize the next match.

***
Some time later the boat came sliding in toward the floating arena. His hood was still down over his face as he seemed to be dozing.

However once the boat gently knocked on the dock he opened his eyes. His eyes seemed alert as ever, as they should. He had actually already double checked his equipment and glanced over the crowd, several minutes before the boat had actually gotten here. However, far be it for him to let anyone think he prepared in advance. It was best to seem as casual as possible.

So he stood up , stretched and anchored the boat before hopping off the boat. He tossed his hood off and revealed his handsome copper colored face to the crowd. Some that remembered his face before gave a cheer, though most it seemed cheered to finally see this so far unknown fighter actually fight something.

He let the slight breeze blow in his face. He gave a half smile and a slight head nod to the crowd, though his glowing blue eyes still seemed focused and waiting for his opponent.

Boat Horn.

Wake.

The Yacht sailed next to the huge wooden platform, the massive GRAPPLE Co. company yacht dwarfing every other boat or see faring vessel on the sea. Standing at the front of the boat was Bear, the poster boy for GRAPPLE Co. and all around fan favorite.

The moment he was spotted the crowd went from mild cheering to down right crazy yelling and cheering, women removed bikini tops; men took pictures of said removal of bikini tops. All at the sight of the young man known as the 'Great Human Hope', for he was but a pure human with no powers competing in a dangerous tournament.

As the ship dropped anchor he placed his right hand on the railing and jumped off, landing with a thud and a dive roll onto the wooden fighting arena. Rolling onto his feet to deaden the shock of the fall on his knees he looked toward his once hooded opponent.

James was tan as well, but perhaps more on 'in the sun too long' type over the natural. His hair was a light brown to dull red, and he had a light stubble on his chin. Peach fuzz really, for he was still but a lad. Eighteen at best, he stood at a average 5'6" and weighed roughly 155 lbs.

"Thank you, thank you!"

He said as he lowered his hands as if to hush the crowd, and hush they did. James turned his right hand toward his opponent and pointed at him, a huge grin on his face.

"Lets make it a good one!"

The point turned into a thumbs up, showing Bear was hardly out to make enemies. He would prefer to have a friendly fight with his opponent to move on to the next round, rather then a near death experience like he had in his last fight.

He watched as the giant yacht made its way into the harbor, and resisted the urge to roll his eyes. He disliked the corporate opulence, it distracted and he didn’t believe that condition or size of the boat was key. In the end all that mattered was the type of person steering the boat. However his mind went away from that trivial subject as his opponent disembarked from the ship. He walked forward, closing the gap between still keeping a casual air as possible,as he looked over his opponent. Just a kid and seemingly unarmed, but that meant nothing. Lucas was no stranger to concealed weapons. On a different note, he had to admit that the fact that this kid didn’t posses an ounce of magic made things both easier and harder at the same time.

it was a challenge, though one he felt more than up for.

He stopped his approach about 20 feet away from the kid as he spoke:

Bear

"Lets make it a good one!"

The point turned into a thumbs up

Lucas returned with a small smile and gave a slow medium bow. As he bowed his right hand subtly dipped inside his coat, and casually lifted a knife from the pouch attached to his belt. The knife had a red jewel embedded in it’s hilt and was weighted for throwing.

He looked up from the bow and said “I couldn’t agree more…though let’s save the pleasantries until after the fight is done eh?”

His mouth turned upward slightly with a smirk. With that he rose up from the bow and brought his right hand up in a pendulum movement. Using the added speed of the movement he gave a speedy and practiced under hand throw as he sent the knife hurtling toward his opponents abdominal region.

Time to see what the kid was made of.

The kid wasn't made of much. He rode on a lot of heart, some skill and tons of balls.

"Oh s**t!"

Was about the only thing Bear could say as a ******** KNIFE came sailing toward his chest, but before the knife was dealt with it was best to explain what Bear was wearing.

A skin tight 'rash guard' covered his upper body, a pair of bracers on his arms and simple 'fight shorts' on his lower body, he wore what appeared to be standard 'tennis' shoes, manufactured by GRAPPLE Co.

Bear was not fully accustomed to fighting against weapons or his own bracers just yet, and when a sudden attack broke out he chose to deal with it the only way he could think of on the fly, his inexperience showing in leaps and bounds.

He dove stomach first into the wooden planks and landed harmlessly on his belly, knife sailing onto the other side of the arena.

"Hey man, that was dangerous."

Grin, cool look go! Flawless victory.

Bear began to rise to his feet, hoping his opponent would allow it. He pressed the palms of his hands against the planks and rose, as if he was trying to do push ups.

As the kid ducked down Lucas let out a small laugh as his knife sailed a couple more feet before thinking loudly on the planks that made up this platform

Bear

"Hey man, that was dangerous."

Lucas gave a small smirk and said " I'm just getting warmed up." He struck a fighting pose and kept his eyes focused as the kid started to lift himself up off the ground. He didn't make a move as the kid rose. Some might wonder why, but Lucas just kept the same smirk on his face. He wasn't without his own tricks.

Meanwhile, the knife that was stuck in the planks, wiggled around as the crowd took notice that it seemed to be pulling itself out unaided.

Hunter Knife

A 8' inch blade that has a red gem in it's hilt. This knife is magicked to return to it's owner even if it's stuck in something.

The knife finally pulled itself from the plank and began spiraling blade over hilt backtracking it's thrown path to reach it's destination, Lucas. In the midst of it's path however, was a very big obstacle wearing 'fight shorts'. That obstacle was about to get a very unfortunate surprise unless he got his head in the game.

Lucas said nothing of course merely maintained his fight stance and kept his eyes on the kid, awaiting the impeding knife as it sailed ever closer to his opponents backside. If the kid had reacted that suddenly to a simple knife toss how would he react if the blade bite back with a vengeance?

Guess he'd find out soon enough.

"Behind you!"

Fans likely wanted to yell, but they knew they couldn't. It would have been moot anyway, for as the knife began to pry itself from its wooden prison Bear knew soundly that he was safe, sadly his knowledge was limited at best.

Ching!

The sound of blade violently leaving ground to sail back at the young man, even Bear would hear that. Turning his head to face where it came from he saw a knife sailing lower by directly at him, and he did the first thing that came to mind this time.

He took a step to the right, but it was slow. It scraped his thigh and rib area, causing superficial bleeding, but otherwise doing no harm. Bear had just recovered from getting stabbed in the lung, and yet another pansy knife user had popped into his midst.

Next thing Bear knew the dude would start shooting lightning out his a** and turning Super Saiyan.

"Hey man."

He sighed.

"That is really..."

Deep breath, steady that heart.

"DANGEROUS!"

Bull rush time. Bear 'sprinted' more like aggressive jogged straight at his opponent, hoping to close the gap and get into striking range with this guy, he wouldn't win the battle of range fighting with no weapons and a magic dagger sailing around.

Lucas watched as the blade came scraping past him, Lucas threw his left arm violently to the side, sliding off the left arm of his coat leaving it hanging loose at his side. A bit of dramatic gesture to some, but it was still part of his plan. He took a step back to catch the knife and moved with the momentum spinning in a circle, as he spun he let his left hand go and the other sleeve slid off his arm.

Bear
"Hey man."

"That is really..."

"DANGEROUS!

Once he returned his eyesight to his opponent, he saw that his opponent had decided to rush him. He had seen the damage this kid was capable of up close; however it was his job to make it as hard as possible to get that damage, while getting in a little of his own. However, he needed to buy himself a few more seconds to pull off what he had in mind. He took a few long strides back bringing the distance between them to 10 feet and closing. He then launched the same knife he had caught at the kids left thigh, There was a chance that the charging kid would let the knife strike him, however Lucas was betting on the kid pausing his charge to move his leg out of the way.

After his knife had been thrown his hand drifted to the hood of his now loose coat…

((I really want to apologize man, but I really just don't like the judges in this tournament, except Tenkai and X. So I'm forfeiting my match.

I wish you luck in the rest of the Tournament. ))

(If, Lucas, you would like a fight, I will provide you with one. As your opponent has forfeited, you will move on to the next round regardless.)
