i am feed up with the nerfs and the changes and everything. i think rigs are part of the economy problem. not enough supply for the demand. so what happened to just wearing our gold shop and not "premium" items?
i already posted something but i think we could make it an event or a mini event. tektek contest for the gold shop only items. we could do raffles and win gold shop items. i think this could be fun. right now i do not have a time line for this but we could set one. there are good bathing suits in the shops so we could go through August if we wanted.
so what do we say?
yay or nay?

I say yay - sounds like fun and not as complicated as the ball thing I'm tinkering with XP
Besides, tekteking gold shop avatars is pretty neat since there is a tab thingy so that you can opt-out everything that's not gold shop :'P

also if we are doing contest we can give out gold shop items and that will not be a huge cost. it would be fun. this is summer! we can go wacky and elegant and give away prizes like it is a carnival!
i just think this is a good idea for a start up guild which is what we kind of are.
i just think gaia needs to evaluate the gold shops. they want us to be more social? then they need to stop pushing super expensive items.
i think this should go to the end of August. it could be hard but i think we could be up to it. there is a lot we could do!

At any rate, I can't really hold the expensiveness against gaia. They are pushing their cash items because that is their income. The thing is that gaia sux something profoundly at communication and thus fail at making the users love them and give money out of love for the site.

I could make a long list (and have, as I used gaia as base for an assignment) of moments and episodes where gaia makes mistake after mistake - some of are outright silly from a communication and marketing perspective.

Just take the simple fact that gaia is punishing the users for something that is gaia staff's fault, simply because it says in the site rules that they have the right to punish us. We can't complain over it from a legal perspective, but it sure as effin heck doesn't create and good-will

And gaia should be desperate after good-will, seeing as they sell something that is in no way at all essential.
