It was safe to say that he still felt rather... ungainly and stupid. Sighing as he clung to Akiya's hand, Jiro slowly tried his best to keep going in a straight and forward fashion. His hair was back in its typical bun, but nowadays, the weight was so much easier to deal with. Probably because he was bigger and he could handle it better? Something like that. "Jiro... you should still be asleep."
"Been in bed all day and I'm tired of it. I won't get used to walking about until I do it." His chest was still thickly bound, hints of white showing from the v in his outfit from time to time, but he was stubbornly forging ahead anyway. In the end, Akiya decided that it was best to just let him have his way. After all, it wasn't like Jiro had asked to be attacked or weakened in such a fashion. And he was proud of the Imp for doing this despite Sah's obvious worries. "My voice sounds so funny..."
"Voices do change as you grow." His accent was just as thick as ever sometimes but not as bad anywhere. And it seemed he had finally grasped the concept of English, though he scowled and hated on it. The angel just found it amusing how Jiro worked. Sooner or later, he would know everyone one had to know. "You'll get used to it. Just as we will. So where do you wish to go today? The park? The st-"
"Park. We're going to the park." He didn't want to go to the store if he could avoid it. Not that he hated the place, he just found himself there way too often and the park was a nice open area. There he could practice moving about with his new body of his...a nd maybe, if he got lucky, he would run into someone he knew...

Armel just so happened to be at the park sitting in a swing at a random playground in the park looking unusually sad. Next to the ram-horned boy was someone that was not Pales. Which was very strange. Did something happen? No one could really know unless they asked the boy.
"Gran'da'. I'm worried 'bout Da' and Tyr." He spoke with the gent next to him on familiar terms so thankfully it wasn't a stranger. The boy's feet didn't really touch the ground as he sat in his swing. Apparently the man next to him had lifted Armel into the swing.
The one referred to as "Gran'da'" chuckled good humoredly and shrugged, "Now, now. Don't you worry about him. I am sure he'll come back to us." He spoke with an almost uncaring air. The man was tall and lanky and seemd to resemble Pales somewhat in the face ... perhaps this man was his birth father?
It likely was, though Pales spends a lot of his time denying it. The man also wore a half gallon top hat with a deep red hat band wrapped about the base. From the hatband sat a long crow's feather that just idly sat there. The gent also had long salt-and-pepper colored hair. As far as outfit went? He wore a nice long coat, a deep red coat, and some jeans with a sort of biker's boot style shoes. Armel sighed in response to the man and just stared down at his legs, "Everythin' feels so lost. I bet Tyr feels more lost than I do." It was likely an understatement. Armel himself was just dressed in a white shirt with a pair of black jeans and children's tennis shoes. He was dressed pretty drab because he felt drab.

His angelic wing twitched, causing him to turn his head to see what had caught its attention. Obviously, it had to be someone he knew or something familiar to make him actually take notice of it. But he did know Armel's accent anywhere and he perked. Least there was someone that he knew! But the words he picked up sounded sad, which made him frown a bit. Armel wasn't exactly like Viddy in terms of how he acted, least not from what he saw, but he didn't sound like that. Deciding it was best to find out himself what was going on, he tugged on his father's arm to get him to go in the direction he wanted him to go to. Akiya had been wandering over to the nearest bench and the swing was in the other direction.
But the angel didn't ask why he had suddenly taken command of their directions, just let him lead him as he pleased. Noticing Armel on the swing, he nodded to himself in understanding. But he definately didn't know who the other person with him was. That was most definately not Pales... he was a bit startled when Jiro let go of his hand and carefully made his way towards the other Tale, not sure if that was a wise thing to do if he looked so down and unhappy.
"Armel!" He had to get his attention somehow, right? He hoped that he wouldn't look too different now that he was older.. but it wasn't like Jiro was a hard one to forget. "It's been awhile! Is everything all right?"

Albion was watching the approaching pair carefully, but still wore a smile on his face. He would protect the boy with his life, as strictly against his fiber as that might be or had been in his past. He stood up brushing off the back of his pants. Armel remained seated though he craned his head.
No sooner had the ram-horned boy looked than he saw a familiar looking person. The voice was unfamiliar at first but he found himself unable to forget the red hair and other such more familiar features attached to a now older Jiro, "Jiro!? Aye it apparently 'as been a long time."
Should he lie and say everything is okay? No obviously not, he should just tell the truth and get it over with, "M'Da' is missin'. I..I'm scared that he'll be gone forever." If you cannot admit to such things to a good firend then who could you admit them to? He knew Jiro and his guardian wouldn't think him weak for his concern.

He knew it would take a bit for him to get used to the fact that he was now bigger than he had when they had first met but he saw that Armel easily recalled who he was, even if his voice sounded different, even to his own ears. Thankful when he got up to him cause it meant he could stop moving, though he didn't want that to show, his eyes showed worry when he said his Da was missing. ".... that's horrible... but I don't think he'll be gone forever." Moving carefully, he looked down at him. "You can't give up hope, Armel.... I'm sure that he'll be found or he'll return home. But even if it takes time, you must continue to have faith." He couldn't even imagine what that must feel like, to one day not have his parent there to look after him.
Even though his family was not small, he was sure he would be just as worried and upset if it had. "What happened? You wanna talk about it?" He knelt onto the ground, thankful to take the pressure off his legs because that stopped the pressure in his chest.. somehow. But his eyes were calm as he looked up at his friend, knowing how painful worrying can be. He did that a lot about certain people.
While the two Tales spoke, Akiya looked over Armel's guardian curiously, bowing before him respectfully. "It's nice to meet you.. though I wish it could have been under better circumstances... I'm Akiya and this is my son Jiro." He didn't exactly know what to say to this name until he understood who he was and what his relation to Pales was... though he looked like his father or something at first glance.

Armel pulled himself together a bit more, Jiro's presence seemed to help him do that. For one so young he was very adult at times, "I dunn'ae know what 'appened friend. I jus' know m'Da' wander off in a bit of a funk an' wanted to be alone. 'E didn't come back. It is not like 'im to stray away f'hours on end." His brogue was obviously becoming light to heavy on and off. It is something he perhaps ought to try and take control of.
Albion looked at Akiya and wore a smile, "I'm Albion. The kid here calls me Gran'da'. I am looking after him while his guardian is ... unavailable. That and the other young man living with us now made me get the boy here out and about." Albion muttered the last part under his breath but he still wore a smile, he seemed friendly enough, just very unorthodox. Yet as he glanced down at Armel his gaze turned kindly and he looked at Akiya, "Him and the other young man are takin' this very hard. I admit I miss my so...Student as well."

"Hnmmm.." Rubbing the back of his neck, he pondered this odd occurance. There definately had to be some kind of purpose behind such a strange shift of moods. "Had it been something that had happened over a period of time or was it just a sudden thing?" It was on days like this, he was thankful he lived in a place with such varied accents because he purposely took the time to listen to him and hear what he was trying saying. Right now, saying something like huh would have been terribly rude and wouldn't help anything. "From what I recall of him, it really doesn't seem like something he would do... but sometimes, things that don't appear to have a purpose truly do... least that's what I think..." Sitting on the seat next to him, he shaking took a breath and started to swing back and forth. "There's no clues for you to go on? None at all?" He wanted to help him... it was something that couldn't be helped. After all, Armel was a friend. A good friend to him and one he hoped would become like a best friend.. though this wish was not spoken aloud. If it was meant to be, it was meant to be.
"The other young man?" Naturally, he wouldn't know about any other people living under Pales' roof because he had never visited him or anything of the sort yet, so he thought it was just Armel and Pales. Though it was good to learn more about people one would like a closer friendship with. "Well... it's better than trying to keep him cooped up in the house. I'm having the same sort of issues myself. I was told to allow jiro out and about.. But I can understand how you feel... I mean, anyone would worry when there's someone they care about missing." He had heard the slip he had made but made no mention of it. He could be the type to totally pry and get answers... but not right then and not in this case.

Armel seemed to think on it for a moment or two as if trying to seek an answer to Jiro's questioning and then he just said, "I think Da' and Gran'da got into another argument. Gran'da always seems able to say the right thing to get him a lil' warm un'er the collar." The ram-horned boy then shook his head and sighed, "But he never really ran off b'fore, y'know? I think somethin' is wrong. Da's..." What was Tyr to his Da'? He had no word for it other than friend, and so he simply continued along the straight of conversation ignoring the momentary stall in his speech, "Friend can't seem to contact him anymore either." It was clear that Armel definately wouldn't be able to answer if questioned on the 'contact' commentary, "It isn't like 'im at all and no there are no clues." He merely kicked his legs at thin air unable to reach the ground like his now much taller friend Jiro could.
"Yeah, he came to live with us shortly after I moved in." Was all Albion explained to the questioning tone of Akiya's about the young man living with them, "Aye, I guess it is better I got him out, at least he ran into a friend." The older man glanced at the two boys on the swings and nodded a bit they seemed friendly enough, "It might help him more than I or anyone else can. I feel pretty hopeless." Albion chuckled softly and shook his head, "I feel guilty now, you know? Me and Pales argued before he disappeared. I don't even remember what it was about now..."

He made a slight face when he mentioned arguments, swinging back and forth barely without much thought. It didn't seem to make a lot of sense but since he didn't know Armel's Da terribly well there was nothing he could really say about whether it was out of character or not. "Yeah.. I'm sure I would be just as confused and upset if Shouhin had done something similiar... but if something is wrong, what do you wanna do about it? It's not like you can go searching for him on your own..." If he did wish to search, he would most likely offer to come along. That was just how he was at times. "I dunno.. it just sounds really confusing to me as well.. but I want to help you out.. somehow..."
"Ah..." was all he could really say to something like that and he only looked a bit more baffled. There was so much he just didn't know so it didn't really help anything truly. "Yes, it's good to get Armel out instead of being trapped up in his house... I'm sure the child is really lonely and afraid right now. But it's only natural..." He was glad that he had brought Jiro out as well. the imp's aura seemed a bit more at ease than it had been since the incidents at home. "Un... I can understand what you mean.. sometimes, things that might seem important at one time can so easily turn into something that isn't... and then you're only left wondering why the argument happened in the first place..."
((Holy crap sorry >< Since I got my new job I've been really out of it >> but yeah I'll do better -_- ))

Armel chuckled a bit and shrugged, "I don' think Da'd want me t'leave Tyr alone. Tyr and his kids moved in recently an' they don' know th'area real well. So I am thinkin' lookin' for him is outta the question. I think ... Someone else went to go look for him from what Tyr said."
...Technically Tyr was alone now, but then again Tyr made him and Albion leave the house.
He genuinely smiled at Jiro, "Ye sittin' 'ere an' talkin' t'me is helpin' me a lot. Sorry it's so confusin' I dunno much about the situation either..." There was a small pause. Armel didn't want to dwell on this anymore, "Know what'd help more? Goin' off ter do somethin'. If ye feel up to it, friend."
//
Albion nodded a bit and smiled, "Armel is a good kid, most times. When he isn't being ornery. Which, is happening with frequency with Pales gone."
He nodded a bit at the last comment made to him, "Yeah. I'll try to go easier on him when he gets back." For him there was no question about Pales coming back. Pales had to come back or else Tyr would drive him crazy. He didn't quite have the persuasive power Pales had to make Tyr see things his way. Albion glanced at the boys, and they still seemed to be playing nice. This was Albion's first time taking Armel anywhere and so the man didn't know what to expect from the boy.

"Ah, then it's always best to be around in case they need you. Aimlessly wandering about and getting lost is not something I would find fun.. but that's just me." His gaze turned thoughtful as he said someone else was looking for his father and he nodded. It was probably all taken care of so he truly couldn't worry over it much more. Not to say that he wouldn't in his own fashion, but Armel seemed okay with it. So he had to let it go.
Shaking his head, he smirked and clapped a hand on Armel's shoulder. "Nah, don't even apologize. I'm glad I could help you out. It doesn't matter if I got confused or not. It's more for your benefit to get things off your chest anyway, right?" The smirk deepened and he nodded, hopping off the swing and stretching. "Most definately! We need to do something else. A distraction is definately in need. So what do you wanna do?" He was up for anything.. even though he shouldn't technically pull his own wounds too much, anything was better than sitting on swings.
"Kids will be kids. They're all way too active for their own good at times. If they aren't, then that usually means something's wrong with them. Least.. that's what I've learned with Jiro." Waving a hand gently, he watched the two kids as they spoke amongst themselves, a smile on his lips. He was glad Jiro did have some friends, no matter how much the boy liked to pretend it was safer to be alone.
He watched Albion for a moment or two before he grinned. "I'm sure you two will do just fine. Life is about messing up and learning from them, after all. It's just how it goes..."

Armel got up too, but now he had to look up at Jiro a bit. He pushed back a thought of jealousy that was screaming at him from the back of his mind and just smiled up at his friend and just shrugged, "I am up for anythin' really. Jus' so long as I ain't sitting around anymore." He responded honestly.
There was a brief silence as the younger tail tapped his booted foot against the ground as if pondering. Armel didn't want to make his friend exert himself especially since Jiro was obviously having some troubles moving about for the moment. "Let's go out to a market or somethin'?" that seemed most ideal. Plus if Jiro needed it there was bound to be benches at the market to sit upon.
Albion nodded his aged head and smiled wryly, "Ah to be young again," he said thoughtfully with a small sigh. He watched the pair at the swings and chuckled a bit as he looked over at the other man with a smirk, "I guess we are about to be put on the move again."
The old man nodded a bit, "I have messed up many, many times while I grew. You are never quite done growing I have learned. Life is just rife with mistakes to be had," he laughed a bit rubbing the back of his neck.
