Staircase | Upper Floor View | Lower Grand Door
Located in the Underground residence of Soul Society is the Royal Library. The Royal Library can not be accessed by regular Shinigami and can only be used by Captains, and elders. Though Soul Society has several other Libraries in its parts, this Library is very special.
The only way to actually find the Library is through a hidden area deep in Soul Societies forestry areas. The entrance is a oval door that is placed on a large boulder on the mountain area. The door is a dark brown wooden door with several antique carvings on its body. On the left of the door's body there is a large golden ring on the lever to open the door. To enter one must take the ring, and let their reaitsu flow into the ring, making it unlock the door. Then the person will face a dark hall. The hall leads down wards to a low lite cavern that has lanterns lit down the long path.
The path leads to a down wards twisting staircase that goes down about three floors below the grounded earth.
Leading from the hallway is a grand room draped in white and red clothes. The hallway leads to a long corridor. That corridor then leads to another grand door that is taller than any being calculated in Soul Society. That door leads to the Royal Library, which holds ancient scrolls, and books of eons tellings, and teachings.
