History: Akubi lived with her mom in a small studio apartment with nothing but TV to keep her occupied. Her mom is the owner of a restaurant in their apartment building so she gets to hang out and help around and sometimes will help take orders and clean up at closing. She can’t remember her father since he left when she was 4, but along as she was with her mother she didn't mind. One day, she rode her bike to the park and fell asleep under a tree. While she was sleeping something knocked her on the head. When she looks up to see what it is she finds a key resembling a spiral with twig like accents. She is mesmerized by the spiral and rushes home to show her mom. They don't know what it is but she was so in awe at it's strange design she made it into a necklace with a old copper chain she had in her dresser. When she takes her jacket off, she finds that a card was in her hood. She picked it up and it read “The change”. She flipped it over and seemed to have seen the symbol somewhere before. She figured out it was a old flyer in a alleyway for a an academy that was about to open for people with these cards. Thinking it was an invitation to the school she showed her mother and she was transferred there for this coming school term.
