As I am blind and cannot see Empusa have wings... >.>
My boyfriend and I were debating on whether male demons actually have wings. I thought that Vyers does, and that his wings just act as a cape. He thinks they're just a cape.
Are there any other male demons who have wings? Can anyone put an end to this debate? redface

Personally, I think they all have wings, but they can "take them out" and "store" them at will. Possibly since it must hinder them in combat sometimes. Also, this is based on the fact that both Vyers and Prier seem to have wings at some times but not on their sprites. (Although does Prier count?) And the fact that not all angels (superior to Flonne) have wings.
Also, I've read somewhere about Laharl's wings. (concept art has wings http://c-uncut.com/media/dis-laharl5.jpg) I've read two things, one, his cape can actually turn into his wings, and two, that in some art, he seems to have wing markings on the back of his shoulders. Of course, I cannot verify this.
EDIT: Also, it seems that more demons have wings in sketches

They dont ever actually say for anything besides the monster classes. It also depends on what disgaea is most based off of (but frankly I think its based on itself...) So far as I can tell it veries from demon to demon. I think they might have just left them off the sprites to make thing fit the boxes better. Hover it could be a sign of age, prestege, rank etc.

Taiga, the Vyers picture is the one I showed him to prove my point. But he still thinks it's his cape. >.>;

Male demons do have wings. Some big, like Vyers. Others are so small they look like they're just drawn at the back. Laharl has wings but they're too small to see. Only in the Disgaea 2 anime cut scene you see them.
