Darkest Secret: One night, several days after her eldest son was born, Chun Hei came in to check on her son, only to find an Earthbender assassin standing over him, ready to slit the young Fire Prince's throat. Without a second thought, Chun Hei killed him. She regrets that decision to this day.
Family: Her younger sister, who serves as a Lady in Waiting, and her mother, an old medical witch, who still lives in Chun Hei's birthtown.
Origin of Birth: Chun Hei was born in the Fire Nation Capital, but raised in a small town on the outskirts of the country.
Biography: Chun Hei was born in the Capital due to the fact that her mother was visiting family there right around the time Chun Hei was born. Chun Hei then lived in a small farming village with her mother, father and eventually younger sister. Although her mother never minded having two girls and no son, it was a thorn in her father's side that he would never have a little boy till the day he died. Chun Hei first saw the Fire Lord when she was a young girl, and he was touring the country. She fell in love with him the second she saw him, although it was more of a girlhood crush than actual love. When her father learned of this, he sold her to the Fire Nation's Royal Family, and told Chun Hei that she was finally doing something to help her family. She was only eleven (11) when this happened, and had her first child very young, at the age of fourteen. As the year passed. Chun Hei began to see the signs of insanity in her husband, and fearing for the safety of the world, tried to speak to him about this. However, her husband became enraged, and nearly killed Chun Hei by badly burning her back. After this, the two of them were never close again.

Forgotten Info: Chun Hei was taught how to fight by her mother, who had been taught by her mother before her. Chun Hei's mother explained that they came from a long line of women who had fought to defend themselves, and defy what society thought of them. She also told Chun Hei that this legacy started with the Fire Nation's greatest hero, and greatest traitor Mai. When she was sold to the palace, Chun Hei continued to practice her firebending and swordplay in secret, often watching her husband in hopes of picking something up. She has also brided the Weapons Master of the palace into teaching her. Although most of the Nation knows Chun Hei is a firebender, they do not know the extent of her skill.
