Well, I guess I'll vote option two, because I received a pm from someone who apparently really wants to fight and didn't get to.

Voting option 2 won't let you give them a fight in the tournament. You're already a participant, you already had a fight. You can't be in the bracket twice, even with different characters. It's disallowed.
Also, remember that if these people who are supposed to get byes get new opponents, their Round two opponents who advanced now have to wait for those "late" first round fights to finish up before they can begin their 2nd round.
Which, of course, is the entire problem that using byes avoids.

Option 2. If it's gonna be late, might as well do it right.

REMINDER:
LEARN TO ******** READ.
If the first post says that participants are the only ones with a vote, and this is a thread just for votes, then no one else should be making posts in this thread, and those who are allowed should keep their posts to simple "Option 1" or "Option 2".
Thanks, jerks.

Just a reminder, guys.
Only competitors are allowed to vote in this thread. We're asking this specifically to the competitors because, in the end, this vote affects them.
Spectators spectate, so they can wait.
Judges judge, so we can wait.
But the fighter's participation is what makes this tournament what it is. Ultimately, this affects them most of all.
Edit: My reminder is nicer than yours, Rocco. >3>
