Yes, a rather weird topic, to be sure, but I would be interested in hearing what other people see/hear/feel/experience when the sidhe make their presence known to them. I imagine it's different for everyone, and also depends on the type of sidhe, so let's discuss! heart

One of the biggest signs is that you feel like there is something touching you. Like when you get that shiver down your spine, or it feels like you have a bug on your arm but there's nothing there. It's sometimes fae playing with you.

I get what Kim is explaining to you. Although you also will get a tinge of excitement, a warm feeling in your heart, and goosebumps, when the fae are around you. I sometimes feel like someone is embracing me most of the time. It is a safe feeling and it makes me happy.

I also see black little balls or shadows jumping around out of the corner of my eyes and I hear little voices calling my name sometimes. My guardian likes to pull on my hair when she wants my attention.

Like most Fae, a tickle, sudden warmth, burst of euphoria (I get that quite a bit), or visuals are ways of greetings, love, and other communication, however, Sidhe are the persnickety type, or choosy of how and how they show themselves. They seem to like to be 'round and 'bout where there is much shininess, beauty (inner/outer), and wealth- of course, this can be a stereotype, for no Fae is alike :] I love them all, nonetheless.

Laughter, where none aught not be; Items missing or moved that aught not be; Where fairy doors abound, one may be fortunate enough to be surrounded by fae of many means. wink
