if you like time travel, try reading "—all you zombies—" by robert a. heinlein (one of the most popular and well known sci-fi authors). its only a short story which you can find for free if you google it. it has nothing to do with zombies, thats just the title. the story involves extremely mind blowing time-travel paradox that won't have encountered before, i'm quite certain. i'd like to explain you a bit of the story but i'm afraid i'd just spoil the fun. it's not very long, give it a shot. Clickthere, i found you an online version.

There's a used book seller from Melbourne that writes for a bookshop blog on occasion. I never actually check out her site but maybe you could find some cheap stuff there. i'll have to post it next time i see the address.

chessiejo oh i do like your taste in titles, shells! but for some time now i must restrict myself to used books. I got 4 books for AU$45. So basically the same as if I bought used books online. I've never been able to find a good RL used bookstore (so your tip could be handy, Lea! xd ). I will say that paperbacks seem much cheaper in the US, based on my online searches. sad

beaulolais he wrote a time travel story called "By His Bootstraps" that made me think hard. but i forgave him. couldn't find that one online, a shame. but another good time travel short story would be "a sound of thunder" by bradbury. Herethis story should also be more appealing to people who aren't too keen on sci-fi.
