i was not allowed to vote, but i like it too.
right now we are at the peak of our wildflower season, day lilies, daisies, clover, vetch, mullein, buttercups, purple loosetrife, sweet william, it's wonderful just to roam around and enjoy them all.

I'm jealous! It sounds lovely! All our wildflowers are small and spikey. And in the suburbs, our wildflowers are basically... weeds. sad

it's funny here, in a way.
the pricey special flowers, like roses or irises, hardly grow at all.
but if you stay with the natural local varietes, you get a lovely garden.
