The birth of Terilee and Krystal Steal Steal hadn't been feeling well most of the day, and since it wasn't getting better, he had crept into the not so hidden nest he had made in the closet. Now that he was there, he curled on his side trying to whimper softly and rather, non-noticably. Amirynth Ryn had been worried. Not seeing the feline in their room he had gone downstaires to look for Steal. He had been away at work again and was hoping to see the little uke when he got home but there was no trace...Amirynth flopped back onto her bed, she had hitched a ride home with her twin to get out of Claires faster. With a sigh of relief she sank into the pillows, suddenly hearing a quiet mew comming from a corner of her room. Peeking up she looked around confused. It wasn't the first time she had been hearing things, but this time it seemed... different... Steal Steal curled tighter into the nest, panting softly, sweat all over his face. He didn't know why he felt so bad. Maybe it was bad tuna again? No, couldn't be that, he hadn't had tuna in a while. Groaning he clutched at his belly. That was what was hurting him. He was only dressed in a long shirt, which was a good thing today, because anything else would have been ruined irreperably when his water broke and the contractions started in earnest. Amirynth Curiosity pulled her off the bed as Amirynth heard a small thud comming from near the window. The only things over there was a pile of stuffed animals and her closet. The animals looked suspicious... she decided to check it out.Ryn had looked all over the bottom floors of the house and worked his way back up to his room. Looking into the door he decided to search the room for any tale tale signes of the uke's prescence. Steal Steal gasped sharply and shifted again, his slender arms groaping for something to hold onto. He flushed deeply and let out a soft plaintive mewl of pain his ears folding back as he tried to force the pain out. Amirynth Amirynth stood up suddenly... she recognized that sound! Throwing open the closet door she looked down upon the forlorn feline. "Oh my! Steal, are you?..." She saw the mess below him, luckly most of her things had been protected by a rather large cloak. "Your having the baby! Oh dear... and Mummy isn't here." She steped forward before thinking for a moment and stepping back out to where she kept her towls. Grabbing one she gently wrapped it around the feline, trying to figure out who else was in the house, not sure if she wanted to call for Ryn, guys usually wern't suppost to be in the delivery... She looked down again... maybe this would be an exception. "Ryn!... It's Steal! Come quick!" Steal Steal looked up when the closet door was pulled open, and he cringed back a bit before shuddering through another painful contaction. His ears were tight to his head now and he dug his claws into the towel around him. That of course was useless. He needed to get the pain out. He just wasn't all that sure how. Burrowing deeper into the makeshift nest he gave a slightly louder cry of pain. Well.. it was too late to stop things now. It was happening. Amirynth Amirynth considered moving him and decided to keep the uke in his little nest. "Ok Steal, ya gonna have to do what I say ok? You gonna have ya baby and we need to get the little one out." She thought for a moment, wishing she hadn't slept through her mother's lessons so much. "I need ya to sit up on ya feet, crouch down with the towl under you." She crouched down to show him what she meant, hoping that he would be able to do so.Ryn dashed into the room. "What is it Amirynth!?" Looking for them he spotted the striped tail of his twin comming out of the closet door. "What is going on is Steal ok?" His frantic voice rose a little when he heard the plainative mew from the uke. Steal Steal wobbled a bit as he tried to shift, his small hands gropeing for something to hold onto so he could do what Amirynth was telling him. At least he was listening though. A moment later though, Ryn's panic started to infuse him again and he burst into worried tears, crying out in pain again. Amirynth Taking charge Amirynth called to Ryn, "Get out of here, Steal is having a baby, he needs quiet." With a thwack of her tail, she drove him back near the bedroom door. "Do something useful and get me warm towls and a basin of warm water." Turning back to Steal, she helped him up and then steadied him. "Your ok, Steal, you are doing great. Now I am going to need you to push ok? The next time it hurts, just push hard. Ya need to keep breathing too, in and out like me ok?" She kept her breathing steady in hopes that it would keep the feline calm.Ryn was pushed out of the room by his sister and dashed to the baths to get what she had asked for. After dropping a few bowls and basins he sat down for a moment to collect his nerves. He was going to be a daddy! Steal Steal looked at Amiryth, tears still in his pale eyes as he got into the position she wanted, holding onto her so he didn't fall over. Breathing carefully he gave a weak mewl as the pain started again. It took a moment for him to finally push, but when he started, the baby started to come. Wobbling a bit Steal nearly fell over his head going light from the pressure. Amirynth "Stay with me k, Steal." Amirynth kept up a monologue to help keep his mind off the pain. "Ya need to push again... You'll be ok... Everything will be fine, just keep pushing." She manuvered herself close to catch the baby when it came, making sure to keep her shoulders close to Steal for support. "Ya doing perfect, ya a natural, now push again..."Ryn paced a little, getting up and sitting down before realizing they were still in need of the water and blankets, towls. Gathering the items, now feeling a little calmer, he made his way back, this time trying to be quiet... Steal A moment later Steal was giving another push, his body getting tired really fast from the pressure. He swayed a bit more, leaning on Ryn now more than on his own legs. With one more push the baby finally slid out. Though soon after Steal's eyes rolled back and he slumped to the floor again, out cold. Amirynth "Ryn I need you!" Amirynth called to the drafina as she caught the baby, it's loud protests filling the room. Steal fell back onto the fabric covered floor, thank goodness she was a pack-rat... Turning to find him waiting with the bowl she motioned for him to put it down before biting the cord with her sharp fangs, spitting out the bite from her mouth and then placing the squawling babe into the warm water where it was comforted for a moment. Washing him off she wrapped up the baby and looked towards Ryn and the unconsious Steal. "Ya got a beautiful baby boy here. Whatcha gonna name him?"Ryn's first movement was to catch the uke. Holding the feline in his arms in the cramped closet he heard the voice of their child and held the uke tight. Looking up to hear Amirynth tell them it was a boy he looked down at his mate and then frowned slightly. "Should he be asleep?" Steal Steal lay where he was, tired out but starting to slowly wake and stir. He was just too tired to sit up or react very much to anything that had been and currently was going on around him. There was currently one reaction happening to his body that he wasn't ready for though, and that was the lactateing in result to the baby's cries. Amirynth Ryn took the baby in his arms and held it for Steal to see. He worried that the feline wasn't moving to much but didn't know much about childbirth so figured it was normal. Amirynth cleaned up everything, letting the cloak stay so that it protected the other items in the closet. "Ah think the little one is hungry. Ya might want to try and wake up Steal now." She smiled at the couple. "This was my first childbirth, it's good everything went well."Ryn looked up and nodded a thanks, more overwhealmed than everything. He looked down at the small babe, laying his his arms and smiled again, arms trembling slightly. This was their baby... "Steal... Love, you might want to wake up... he's a boy and he is beautiful." Steal Steal's eyes flickered a bit and he looked at the babe being held by his mate. Flushing he shifted in Ryn's arms, too tired to reach for the child. Instead he just let out a soft purring mewing sound, that the child would learn to recognize as him. At the same time he reached, to pull the long shirt off, curious on why it was getting wet too. Amirynth Ryn looked a little confused until he remembered something Amirynth had mentioned. "I think he wants to ummm... suckle." He blushed a little as he seemed a little embarrassed all of a sudden. What would happen to their sex life? Their relationship? A few doubts surfaced, but then looking into that cute face, red from crying, and his heart softened. "Here..." He placed the baby into his mates arms and helped support Steal. Steal Steal blushed and looked up at Ryn, his eyes showing fear too. Would he be hated now for what had happened? He shifted a little to let the babe feed, his eyes casting down to look away from his mate. Amirynth "This is our little one..." Ryn could not believe that they had made something so precious. "Our love... this is what it brings." He nuzzeled the feline's neck. "Oh Steal, I love you so much, you have braught so much happiness into my life... and now we have a child." Wrapping his arms around his family the drafina kissed Steal on the cheek. "So what do you want to call him?" Steal Steal looked up sleepily and shook his head, holding the child to his chest and feeling it feeding. "Don't.. know.. d'y hate me now?" Amirynth "Of course not Love. Why would I hate you?" He frowned a little before remembering what Ice had said. "Steal.." He moved to look at the feline in the eyes. "I promiced I would never leave you alone. I will never break that promice Love." he kissed the uke on each cheek and then laid his head on the feline's. "You are the mother of our child... father?" He shook his head slightly with a smile and continued. "With this gift, I love you even more. We are a family, love. All three of us." Steal Steal purred softly and leaned on Ryn, feeling the little slowing the feeding. He looked up slowly. "Name him please? I.. want to wash up.. please." Amirynth Looking around, Ryn noticed that his sister had left a smaller bowl full of warm water and a clean towl. Thanking his sis silently, he moved the bowl closer to Steal and took the little child in his arms. Looking down at the now sleeping boy he stroked the light dusty fur on the top of his head and felt a dark tipped ear twitch as it felt the light contact. "Terilee... How does Terilee sound?" He looked up at Steal. Steal Steal looked up and smiled weakly, nodding a bit as he closed his eyes. "P-pretty..." He felt a pain in his stomach and he shifted a bit. As he did that, more liquid ran from him, green though.. and smelling of sickness Amirynth Ryn, looking down at the baby didn't notice at first until a sense of something wrong came to him. The drafina moved a little closer to Steal with a worried look on his face. "Are you ok Steal?" He spoke softly, cradeling the baby in one arm, not wanting to wake up the newborn. "Should I get Amirynth?" Steal Steal shook his head, trying to play off any trouble as nothing. He started to slowly clean himself. "Im.. just tired." Amirynth The drafina nodded, after child birth he supposed that it was normal. "Do you need any help, Love?" Right now he seemed more like a worried hen, wanting to make sure everything was ok for the little uke. Steal Steal shook his head, still pretending he was fine, even as the second wave of pain started to come over him. "No.. m-maybe you should.. get a nest.. bed ready.. f-for.. the baby.." Amirynth Ryn still looked a little worried but decided to do as the feline said. "Ummm..." Looking around all he saw was his sisters clothes... and underware. "Amirynth needs to clean out her closet..." He frowned again and then his eyes alighted on a largish basket that was filled with yarn. Dumping it out he lined the basket with towls and blankets and then placed the sleeping Terilee carefully inside. "Is that ok Love?" Turning he saw the grimace of pain on the feline's face and rushed over... "Steal... are you sure you are ok?" Steal Steal shook his head. "Uhh.. actually.. it hurts again.. but.. the baby is out.." His belly was flatter now, so how could he be hurting like this? He shifted to the posture that Amirynth had showed him, wobbling but wanting the pain gone. Amirynth Ryn held the uke, steadying him as he tried to remember what Amirynth had done. Murmuring lightly he stroked the felines arms and tried to help out as best he could. Steal It wasn't as easy this time. Steal groaned and panted, but nothing seemed to be happening. The baby wasn't working its way out Amirynth Ryn worried... maybe he should get Amirynth... but then who would watch after Steal and Terilee while he was gone. Continuing to stroke the uke's back and sides he nuzzeled the uke's neck lightly wishing there was a way for him to alleviate the pain for the little feline. Steal Steal continued to pant, and finally slipping from his body was a tiny wet mass, that looked more like a damp furball. Amirynth Automatically catching the tiny mass, Ryn held it to his breast as it gave a tiny mew. "Steal?... Two...?" He looked in wonder at the tiny thing that was smaller that his hand. Remembering, Amirynth had washed the little one he put his finger into the bowl checking the temperature and then put a little water on the kitten before covering it in a warm towl.
