Quote: 1 - Ceres walked around, in a bit of a daze. She knew who she was, on the basic level. In that she knew her name, knew she was a pretty little pegasus, knew who her mothers were, who her siblings were, well... if her mothers hadn't made more for her by now. But... who was SHE? Nothing seemed right, and her memories were treacherous, so forthcoming with the big important things, like her family, but so resistant to give up the details of herself. Dollar wise and penny foolish. Well, that was two things she knew about herself. Her family was important... and she really shouldn't mess with established adages. She wasn't good at it. Oh well. But... who was she? One way to find out, she supposed. Interaction. Now she just needed to find some one to talk to. With a sigh she set out, walking. Nothing like a purpose to lift your head high. Quote: 2 – Xipil was just walking along, minding his own business. Not really going anywhere, just walking – when it happened again. He tripped. Over nothing! He caught himself and stared at the area where he tripped, trying to figure out what happened.Quote: 3 – Ceres blinked as she saw the dragon stumble, and right himself. She stepped forward as he glared at the ground, concerned. “Are you alright?” she asked him, head tilted to the side. Too much, she thought as her hair pooled to the ground. Now it would be all dirty. Okay, another clue. She hated dirty hair. Hers, anyway. Quote: 4 – Embarrassed Xipil looked up and kind of shrugged. “Didn't hurt myself this time.” He glanced away. Quote: 5 - “Well, I'm glad you are unhurt. Is there anything that I can do for you?” She asked. Was she compassionate then, or did she just seem to be? Or... was it because he was cute?Quote: 6 - “Noooooo, I do this all the time, I'm okay. It's just the way I am. I was told it's because I grew to fast, and haven't gotten used to my size. But I think it's more congenital then anything else.” He shrugged again. “So? You were heading anywhere particular?”Quote: 7 - “No where particular. How long have you been so large?” she asked. Okay, tact was not on the list of her traits, apparently. Quote: 8 - “Oooooh a day or two. Just suddenly, here I was. It's taking some getting used to, I guess.” He just started to slowly pace away, hoping she would follow.Quote: 9 – Blinking, startled, she followed him, unsure if her company was welcome or not. Was she insecure? Hard to tell yet. “Isn't that how it happens for everyone?” she asked, a bit more sharply then she had intended. Could someone learn tact? If so, she intended to!Quote: 10 – He shrugged. “I don't know, I just know what happened to me, don't know about anyone else. Is that what happened to you?” He looked at her, questioningly.

Quote: 1 - “Well, yeah. I was a teenager for what feels like the longest time,” she said, then trailed off. Did that mean she was impatient now? Was that an echo of how she felt then? She wasn't sure. “How did it work for your siblings?” she asked. Quote:
2 - “As far as I know, I'm an only child. I don't know who my parents were. I figured they were okay. I must have wandered off on them and they never found me again.” He kept on walking. She was following, this was good.Quote: 3 – She stopped, stunned, and stared at him. An only child? She couldn't even begin to imagine it! Some how she was filled with the urge to go seek out her mothers and siblings, or at least Luna and her siblings, and reconnect with all of them. Instead, she rushed to catch up with him. “You poor dear,” she breathed. How lonely he must have been....Quote: 4 – He looked at her, puzzled. “Don't know any different. Nothing to be poor about. Is there?” He tilted his head and looked at her.Quote: 5 - “Having siblings is wonderful!” she said, somewhere between a gush and a gloat. She wanted to spin, to dance, to show him all the wonders. She stopped herself short, however. Why should she show him what he could never have? Sadness over took her a moment, her head drooped and her eyes closed. The poor poor boy. To be so cute and so.... Cute has nothing to do with it! She chided herself. But it wasn't like she could share her own family with him... could she? No, probably not. So short of finding his family... wait a second. She blinked and opened her eyes. “we could do that!” she cheered, excited, forgetting that he wasn't privy to her thoughts.Quote: 6 - “Ooooooooookay. Just what can we do?” He was having second thoughts about being with this particular individual. But he decided to give her a chance. I mean, he's a little strange himself, it should turn out okay. He tripped over his feet once again.Quote: 7 – She darted forward, trying to catch him, using the edge of her wing, if she can get it under him, to push him back to his feet. She wasn't prepared for how heavy he was... however.Quote: 8 - “Oh! Good catch. I thiiiink... yeah. I got my feet under, you can let go now. You know, maybe if I paid attention to where I was going, this wouldn't happen so much...”Quote: 9 - “Instead of paying attention to the pretty ladies?” she asked, hating herself as soon as the words were out. What was she doing fishing for complements? Quote: 10 – He started chuckling. “Pretty ladies are defiantly a maaaaaaaajor distraction. More so now then when I was small. Why is that, do you think?” He kept walking, trying to watch where he was going, but knowing it was just a forlorn hope.

Quote: 1 - “Because you grew up!” she snapped, stopping herself from calling him a bone head. Where was this attitude coming from. She liked him well enough, so why was she getting so impatient with him? Quote: 2 – He was a little taken aback by the sharpness of her tone, buuuuuut she was cute. And she has been nice, more or less most of the time. He decided to let it slide. This time. He just kept walking, not making any comment. Quote: 3 - She winced at his lack of response and followed him. She wanted to apologize, but she just couldn't bring herself to say the words. She scrambled for something that she could say. Then she realized she could broach her idea. But after her last out burst, he might not want anything to do with her. She couldn't really blame him, if that were the case... She would have to approach with caution. “Do you ever wish you knew who your parents were?” she asked. So much for caution... Quote: 4 - “You know, never really thought about it. Just, too many other interesting things keep coming up. For instance, meeting you.” her perked up at that, and looked at her with a kind of hesitant smile, not sure how she would take what he just said. Quote: 5 – She flushed, her face darkening as he said that. She ducked her head a bit, letting her hair hide her face. She was smiling, but for some reason was shy about letting him see that. She didn't know why it mattered so much, but it felt good. She felt warm. “Thank you,” was what she tried to say. She was certain what came out, however, was an incoherent mumble. Quote: 6 - “Sooo.... what were you saying, about we could do what?” Quote: 7 – Her mind took a moment to process and catch up then she blinked and held her head high, tossing her hair back, so she could watch him. “We could, I mean, if you wanted,” she said, then winced as she realized she was babbling. She took a deep breath and tried again. “We could try and find your parents, if you wanted,” she said finally. She watched him. How would he react? Quote: 8 – His eyes widened. That was the last thing he expected to hear. Then he kind of tilted his head, thought for a few minutes, then shook his head. “I wouldn't even to start looking. I don't got a clue. Can you think of any way to start?” Quote: 9 – “Well...” she said, thinking about it. “We could look for ponies that look a little like you...” she started, then thought of Sitara. Who only looked like mother Luna a little bit. Or her half sister Mikazuki who didn't look like Luna or her other mother very much. She blinked as realization hit her. Was Mother Luna gay? Did it matter? Not really. Just odd to note. She wondered if any of her half siblings had a father, or if they all had two mothers. She might just have to find out some day... She shook that off. It was irrelevant at the moment. So if they couldn't look for others who looked like him, what else could they do? They couldn't just look for dragons. After all, neither of her parents were a peg, neither of them was a unicorn or an earth... and yet, here were her and her siblings. So... that was out too. So how could they.... “Oh!” Quote: 10 - “What did you just think of? Obviously it was good. Please share.”

Quote: 1 – She grinned brightly. It was good! After all, Mother Luna said the map could find their hearts' desire, and it had lead them to the children. Then Mother Cinnamon...... oh. Right. Cinnamon Sugar had the map. She drooped a little. She didn't know much about the mother who had run away from them the day Ceres and her siblings were born. Mother Luna liked her a great deal, and cared about her, but how would Cin feel about her children after all this time. Would she even be willing to see Ceres, let alone let her have the map? Could Luna help her convince her other mother, or was it better to do this alone. Or should..... should.... Did she ever get his name? Her eyes widened. “Did you ever even tell me your name?” she asked. Quote: 2 - “Well, no... but then you never told me your name either.” He was wide eyed. “Did you want to know it? I mean, you may not care enough to know. I'd like to know yours,” he added in a hopeful tone. Quote: 3 - “Of course I want to know!” she snapped. She had meant to be encouraging, but her tone had come out sharp and strident again. Where did that even come from? She couldn't recall Mother Luna ever talking that way, couldn't even imagine it. “I'm Ceres,” she said, forcing her voice to go soft, as a sort of apology for the harshness. For some reason, apologies did not come easily to her. But apparently needing to make them did. Quote: 4 - “Aaaaah. Ceres. Now I like that name. Suits you. I'm Xipil.” And he bowed his head in greeting. Quote: 5 – She took a deep breath, and when she was reasonably certain that her voice wouldn't betray her, she spoke. “What an interesting name!” she exclaimed, meaning it. Quote: 6 - “Thank you. I really can't take any credit for it, it's just what everyone called me. Don't even know what it means, if it even has a meaning. But I like Ceres. That just appeals to me.” He kept walking, feeling more confidant because he hadn't tripped in a while. Maybe she was good for him. Quote: 7 – She flushed again lightly as she kept pace. Apparently the boy didn't like to stand still. She glanced at his wings and wondered if he flew much. If he was as much of a klutz flying as walking, she could imagine he had no desire to be airborne. She chided herself for the harsh and uncalled for thought, glad she hadn't said it out loud. “Thank you,” was what she did say, and her tone was soft. “I don't know what mine means either. Something to do with the stars, I think.” Quote: 8 - “Ah. Cool. So, how would we go about finding anybody? Any ideas?” Quote: 9 - “Well, sort of...” She started. Quote: 10 - “Ooookay. What does sort of mean? Give me a hint, huh.” And he gave her a big grin.

Quote: 1 - “Sort of means Yes but not completely,” she snapped. Then she winced again. She tried, AGAIN to apologize but nothing came out. So she answered his question properly instead, hopping the snap wold be lost and forgotten. “One of my mothers, Cinnamon Sugar, she has a treasure map that shows what the holder most wants to find even if they don't know what they're actually looking for. Mother Luna used it to find me and my siblings when we were born.” Quote: 2 - “Oh. Soooooo you know where to find them? Where do we start?” Quote: 3 – “Well, the first problem is finding Mother Cinnamon, but between asking around, and knowing what she looks like, it shouldn't be too hard. The hard part will come when we need to ask her to loan us her map.” Quote: 4 - “Aaaaaaah. Okay. I'm going to follow your lead, because truthfully, I haven't got a clue where to look.” Quote: 5 – She nodded a bit. She wanted to ask if he minded flying. What came out was, “Can you manage to fly without crashing?” Apparently she hated herself, and with good reason. She could be a real jerk. Quote: 6 – He laughed. “I can get up. It's the getting down that's a bit of a problem. But I'm willing to give it a try if you are. Just give me a bit of room here.” And she fanned out his wings, took five running steps, and launched himself into the air, beating his wings as hard as he could. Quote: 7 – She winced, glad that he had flown up. Kept the unpleasant words from slipping out of her mouth. Things like how she was sure getting down would be easy for him, getting down only when he wanted, and in one piece, however, she'd believe to be more difficult. And how her giving it a try was not equal to his, since she didn't trip over air when her feet were on the ground. She shoved all those mean thoughts aside and launched herself into the air once she felt she could do so without snapping at him. “Okay,” she said. “Cinnamon sugar looks a lot like me, but she has demonex wings, see through and tight to her back, rather then feathery like mine or leathery like yours.” Quote: 8 - “Oookay, so where do we start looking?” Maybe if he just stiffened his wings out, he could just glide a bit. Lets see how this would work, putting action to the thought. Well, that's a relief, that actually worked. Now where was she? He looked for her, calling out as he did, “You lead, I'll follow.” Quote: 9 – She pursed her lips as her eyes scanned the ground below. Without being aware of his thoughts, she angled her wings into a slow glide as she looked around. Now she wished she had asked Mother Luna more about Mother Cin. That in mind, she looked for her other mother, and her siblings as well, maybe one of them would have a clue. Quote: 10 – Xipil just fell in line behind her, looking around, but not having a clue what he was looking for, therefor not having much hope at finding it. But... he was enjoying watching her fly. This was a new experience. He beat his wings a few times to keep himself going then continued to glide after her.

Quote: 1 – Ceres flew around, beating her wings when she had to to maintain altitude. Quote: 2 – As they were flying a small black shape launched itself at them. Quote: 3 – Ceres gasped and banked out of the way, just in time and spun, realizing a collision with Xipil was immanent. She tried to call out a warning, knowing it was already too late. “WATCH OUT!” Quote: 4 – Something rammed right into him. He heard the warning but couldn't see what he was supposed to look out for. He managed to wrap his legs around the thing and straightened his wings into a glide. Now just to figure out what the heck was this. He looked down, not sure what he was seeing. Quote: 5 – The pixie he was holding, squirmed in his grasp. “Let go of me! You're crushing my wings!” she cried. Quote: 6 – “Mikazuki?” Ceres asked, startled. Quote: 7 - “Yes! Is this oaf with you? Tell him to let me go!” Quote: 8 – Xipil opened his legs and dropped what he was holding. Didn't say a word, just kept flying. Quote: 9 – She plummeted for several moments before her wings straightened and she flew back up to them. “Sorry, you're not hurt, are you?” she asked him, speaking rather rapidly, like she was impatient. Quote: 10 - “No just knocked a little bit of the breath out of me. What happened. Weren't you watching where you were going?” he asked. He kept flying, quite proud of himself, he hadn't fallen yet.

Quote: 1 - “No I wasn't sorry. In a rush. There was sickness in the water. Some one needs help, I need to find them!” Quote: 2 - “Can we help?” Ceres asked, alarmed. Quote: 3 - “Sick water? Some one drank it? Lead the way. I'll do what we can.” Quote: 4 – Mikazuki nodded and zipped off, trusting them to follow, as she explained, hurriedly. “I'm a healer, and I can purify water. Some one sick bled into the water. I purified what I can but without getting to the source, more illness will continue to contaminate the river. Plus whoever is bleeding clearly needs help. If I find him or her, I can heal them, then fix the water so it stays safe to drink. Quote: 5 - “Where do we need to look?” Xipil was scanning the ground, trying to find some one who looked hurt. Or even a body of water. River, lake, whatever, he was looking for it. Quote: 6 – Mikazuki pointed to a long river she was flying upstream along. “Along this water way. I'm going to drop and see if I can tell how close we're getting. You can keep flying and I'll catch up or hover. Be back.” she held her wings still against her back and dropped like a stone. Quote: 7 - “That's one of my half sisters,” Ceres said, wanting to apologize for her. “When she has her mind set on a healing, everything else takes a back seat. She's really very sweet,” she promised. Quote: 8 - “She seems to be. Although didn't really enjoy the introduction. I still hurt a little bit. But... it's for a good cause.” He continued gliding upriver. “You see anything?” Quote: 9 - “When she's done healing whoever, tell her, she can take the pain away. She's good at that. I think I see something maybe.” Quote: 10 - “See anything?” Mikazuki asked, unknowingly echoing him as she zipped up beside them.

Quote: 1 - “I don't really see anything, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I can't see anybody else down there. I'll just follow you guys.” As he continues to scan the ground. Quote: 2 - “I think I saw something blue up ahead,” Ceres said, pointing with a hoof. “Small. So it's either a baby, or a rock. Maybe.” Quote: 3 – Mikazuki gasped, her eyes wide. “A baby is sick?” she asked, alarmed. Then without waiting for an answer she dropped down to the blue and silver thing Ceres had pointed out. Quote: 4 - “She's going to kill me if it turns out to be a rock,” Ceres informed Xipil dryly. Quote: 5 - “So should we follow her down, or wait and see what she says?” He was staring intently at the blue thing. Quote: 6 - “Let's follow her. Come on,” she said. She banked her wings and angled for the ground. Some small part of her was not happy being in front of Xipil on a dive, but it was unflattering and uncalled for, so she shoved that part of herself away firmly. Quote: 7 – Xipil took a deep breath and very carefully slightly folded his wings so that he would glide down behind her, trying to slow down as he went, being semi successful. He didn't run her over. In his book, that's a plus. Quote: 8 – She landed beside her sister, and what turned out to be a baby after all. However what she saw wasn't her sister healing a small child. It stunned her into stillness and silence, her brain unable to comprehend the scene before her, unable to make sense of her sister laying on the ground, a small baby latched onto her, his teeth in her neck, and the unmistakable scent of blood. Quote: 9 – All Xipil could think was Hit the water! Aim for the water! Hit the water hit the water, aim for the water aim for the water aim for the water! There was a big splash and water came up, soaking the two sisters, as well as the baby. Quote: 10 – Trisfal looked up, shocked and startled, his hold on the pixie gone. Blood and water dripped down his chin. “You wetted me!” he cried out in shock.

Quote: 1 – Mikazuki, free of the hypnosis, scrambled away, screaming and chest heaving. She closed her wounds, healing her own neck, but she was still short of blood and panicky. Blood stained her pretty neck, glossy and slick against the black of her skin. Quote: 2 – Indecision more then shock was what rooted Ceres now. Did she go after the brat kid, did she rush to her sister, or did she go see if Xipil was alright? She hoped he hadn't drowned. She needed to do all first... so she stood there like a statue, doing nothing. Quote: 3 – Xipil struggled to the surface of the water, flinging his legs and trying to locate where he needed to go. He turned in a full circle, until he saw the other ponies on the shore. He struggled towards them, his wings dragging him back. He managed to lift his wings enough out of the water that he finally made it to shore, where he collapsed. He heaved a huge sigh, looked up, grinned weakly, and said “I made it! No broken bones! Woohoo!” and collapsed again. Quote: 4 – That snapped Mikazuki out of her panic at least. Some one else's pain trumped her own. She raced to Xipil on shaky legs. “Are you alright?” she asked, concerned. Quote: 5 - “HEY! Don't ignore me!” Trisfall demanded. “I'm a very powerful vampire! I'll kill you all you keep ignoring me!” Quote: 6 – Xipil struggled to his feet and shook heavily splashing everybody again. “What's going on? What's the midget talking about?” Quote: 7 - “I don't know,” Mikazuki said. “I don't even know why I'm here, but are you hurt?” Quote: 8 - “I said stop ignoring me!” Trisfal cried out. Then, annoyed, he fixated on Ceres. Quote: 9 – Without knowing why she was doing it, Ceres was walking slowly towards the petulant baby. Quote: 10 – Xipil narrowed his eyes. “Two can play at this game. He concentrated on a clump of grass at the baby's feet, it burst into flames. And just as quickly, he put it out.”

Quote: 1 – Trisfal yelped and danced back, his hold over Ceres breaking. “HEY! That hurted!” then he grinned at the healer. “Come make all better?” he asked. Quote: 2 – Mikazuki nodded and headed towards the child. Quote: 3 - “What in the world...” Ceres muttered... Quote: 4 - “Oh don't give me that! It didn't even come close to you. I didn't touch you at all with that flame. But I will, if you don't stop doing that,” and he looked at the youngster with narrowed eyes. Quote: 5 – Trisfal puffed himself up, then caught the look in Xipil's eyes. “Well, I'm not even hungry anymore anyway! So there!” he turned and fled. Quote: 6 - “Oh!” Mikazuki cried, but kept herself from running after him. Mostly, by fainting. Quote: 7 – Xipil looked at her, sprawled on the ground, then looked at Ceres. “What do we do now? How do we help her? And should we go after the kid?” Quote: 8 – Ceres knelt beside her sister. “I'll stay with her until she rises, can you go track down the kid? He seemed scared of you, at least.” Quote: 9 – Xipil sighed, looked in the direction the youngster ran off in, and plodded after him. Quote: 10 – Ceres watched him go, almost afraid that she'd never see him again. Part of her wanted to go after him. But Mikazuki needed her, she was too vulnerable like this. And no guy, no matter how cute, could trump the bonds of family, not when she had known him less then a day. Or a night, as the case might be. She allowed herself a small smile. She spent the night with a guy. Sort of. It amused her. More so because she hadn't done anything but it sounded naughty. She wouldn't actually do anything until she was ready to start a family, but still, saying it would have shock value. Now she was looking forward to speaking to her siblings again for an impish reason.
