A lot of people in this world think you can easily buy your way into being happy. Truthfully, I don't agree with that...What do you think?

I suppose you can buy your way into a kind of a fake happiness. If you come into a good amount of money, you can buy a nice computer, cell phone, or car. And they'll make you happy, for a little bit, until you want something else. If you come into even more money, you can buy a house to go with that car, and maybe some servants. And the latest clothes. And your own runway. If you have even more money, you can pay for the entire Twilight cast to fly over on your private jet and have a pool party with you. You can buy your own island, and have that private beach house you've always dreamed of. And more, and more, and more...
And now, it's thirty years later. You still look great, with all those professional makeup and yoga experts you keep around. You've spent your whole life being waited on and enjoying yourself. And you've never, not once, had to work for anything.
So what's missing?
Think about it.

¢ιηηαмση тσαѕт_ѕayѕ ; You can buy stuff that will temporarily make you happy. But it won't make you happy permanently. As long as you have your family and friends by your side, you can never be unhappy.

To me, it feels more like a 'replacement'. Material things bring the most temporary of so-called 'happiness'. Money makes one feel good, but it isn't happiness. Just how getting a massage can make you feel good, but it's not fully going to watch away your emotional ailments. People that feel that money buys happiness are some of the most deprived in the world I don't think less of them 'cause some people come from circumstances where they have no one or feel they haven't anyone. They replace empty feelings with material goods.

It's Impossible To Buy Happiness. You Can Buy Temporary Happiness But Not True Happiness.

Well, it depends on your definition of happiness. You guys can't tell me that you've never woken up early on Christmas morning, feeling totally euphoric, because you knew you get to tear bright colored wrapping off of presents, you know? Or that giddy feeling you get when you finally saved up enough money to buy something you've been wanting? It's certainly a happy feeling. And you can't deny that people stuggling with finacial issues wouldn't be a whole lot happier with more money. However, that contentment and accomplishment you feel when you've gotten 100% on a final, rode the perfect wave, stuck the landing, hit the high note, even finishing that night's homework, is an unparalleled joy. So it goes both ways, sure money can bring you joy, but it isn't the same type of happiness.
