I have no DEFINITE idea of how the universe was created, but that doesn't mean I'll just believe some random story of any deity I choose.
How, particularly, the universe was created is pretty much a blur to me because of my lack of the understanding of the world of matter. That doesn't mean there ISN'T a way the universe was created, however.
I'll just let some powerful scientist discover a theory while I just focus more on other things of the world.

That sounds about right to me. As far as I'm concerned, all the religions have interesting origin myths, but honestly nothing that I'd accept as truth. Since finding the truth of the matter is just about impossible for someone in my position, I just accept the fact that I don't know and make do with what I do.

You may find that many of the myths are taken too literally today, and often by the more foolish of the cultures in which they originated.

The Egyptian gods, for example, were not literal beings- They were personifications of Alchemical theory that is being proven true by science today. Neith, the original goddess was a personification of the Abyss, the primordial "sea" (Philisophical Water is more subtle than mundane water- It flows, and represents spirit, or energy) of chaotic energy and forces. These forces gave birth to the Sun god (Representing the soul) and the corrupted opposite (As above, so below, diametric system) and so on and so forth.

Science is discovering, more and more, that matter is a form of energy. ("Everything is energy, beyond that is Divine" - Albert Einstein) And by extension, all things are one thing.

Good to see everyone getting along on this one. smile

But 4 people said in the poll that I wrote their group's beliefs wrong. I would like to know what I got wrong for my own education and a more accurate remake of the poll.
So, which groups did I get wrong? sweatdrop
