I'd like to start a roleplay. I hope it actually goes somewhere, but I won't hold my breath.
I'd like participants to try to use punctuation, capitalization, spelling and so on properly. That will make it easier for the rest of us to read and not want to remove our eyes with our fingers while trying to figure out what things say.
I'll be using profiles based on Hiyori's "Human File" from volume 4 of the manga, but with a couple of changes: other aspects of a character's appearance have slots in the profile, but I've omitted "bust size" just in case. (If Hiiragi-san says it's okay, I'll add it back in, but it doesn't matter that much.)

Okay, so it's the beginning of a new school year. Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, Miyuki, Misao, Ayano, and the rest of the named 3rd years from the series have all graduated from high school. (Where they are in life, well, that may be another story.) Yasada Kou, for one, is now a 3rd year, and Yutaka, Minami, Hiyori, and Patty are all in her old class now. (Another note: I'm sort of writing the profiles as though it were Hiyori writing them. Also, I'm preceding each one with a little bit of my RP involving them.)
Ena made her way to the board where the class assignments were and looked it over. Let's see... Class F, she thought. I don't know anybody on this list, except a few secondhand. Ma-ru-ti-n-san, for example. I hear she came 'round the world to get here! she laughed internally at her little joke. Thank you, self, I'll be here all day! At any rate, I hope I make some friends here...

Takashi stepped up to the board, and looked over it for his name.
Hmmm... Class F, huh? he thought. Wonder who else is in here... Some friends from last year... ...Oh wow, I'm in the same class as her? Awesome! I hope I can get up the nerve to talk to her... Some people say she's creepy, but I'm not so sure of that. I also hope I can find this Class F without going in circles missing it.
Just then, "Sorega, Ai Desho" started playing. He picked up his cell and answered it.
"Hello? ... Hey mom. ... Li'l Sis is having a friend over? ... The little Miyakawa girl? That's great! You want me to pick up some meat on the way home? ... Oh, you're sending Big Sis. Good idea! ... You want me to cook tonight? Sure! Oh, I found out what class I'm in, and the roster is looking pretty interesting..."

On the first day, Takashi was wandering the school, looking for Class F, when he noticed a first-year girl, looking ill.
"Kohai," he asked, concerned, "are you okay?"
"I... don't think I am, sempai..." she said. "Can you tell me how to get to the nurse's office?"
"Ah, sorry," he replied, putting his hand behind his head, "I have a terrible sense of direction, or I'd take you there myself." Just then, he caught sight of Yutaka, also looking unwell. "Ah, Kobayakawa-san!" Then he noticed who was with her. "I-I-Iwasaki-san!" he stuttered, nervous around the girl he liked. "C-c-can you t-take k-kohai here to the n-nurse's office?"
"Of course," she said. If she noticed the way he acted, she didn't let on in any way he could readily read in his state. "Come on."
"Urp...thank you, sempai," she said, joining the two.
"I hope you two feel better soon!" he said, focusing momentarily on the other two so he could speak normally.
"Thank you, Mizuhara-san," said Yutaka. "See you later, maybe..."
After they were out of sight, and Takashi recovered from trying to talk to Minami, Takashi said to himself, "I also hope I can run into Class F soon... maybe I'll just follow them back... I should really befriend someone who doesn't have this trouble..."

(OOC: I don't like doing this, but if no one else is contributing, I guess I'll just have to until someone else adds some story. C'mon, folks!)
That morning, Ena was walking to school with a friend she met on the way, and who lived in her neighborhood.
"Tell me, tell me, what color is in season now? Smiling..." she sang, before realizing something. ""
"Shouldn't that be ''?" her friend asked.
"I forgot something!" said Ena, and turned. "Go ahead to school! I'll catch up!"
She dashed off.
"O...kay..." her friend said.
At school, Ena arrived at the classroom door just before Kuroi-sensei.
"Cutting it pretty close, aren't we, missy?" said Kuroi.
"Sorry, sensei," Ena said, "but I forgot something and went back for it."
"Well, you made it this time," Kuroi said, "but be careful, or you might be late next time."
"Yes, ma'am," Ena said, and slid the door open. The two walked in, Ena heading for her seat, and Kuroi for her desk.
"Well, class," said Kuroi, "welcome to a new year. I guess we'll start by taking attendance."
She went down the list, coming to...
"Mizuhara... ...Mizuhara? Is Mizuhara absent today?"
Just then, the door slid open, and Takashi walked through.
"Hey, Kuroi," said Sakuraba-sensei, "I found one of your students wandering the halls."
"Thanks for bringing me here," said Takashi, with a bow.
"Mm," said Sakuraba, and left for her own class, closing the door behind.
"Well?" said Kuroi. "Mind explaining why you were wandering the halls?"
"...I get lost easily," admitted Takashi.
"I'll have to mark you tardy," said Kuroi, "but that won't do you much good if this keeps happening. Maybe one of your classmates could make sure you get here. Where do you live?"
Takashi gave his address.
"Oh!" said Ena. "My friend and I walk by there on the way to school. If you don't mind walking with us, Mizuhara-san, we'll get you to class."
"Not at all," said Takashi, smiling. "I think I'd like that. Thank you."
Ena smiled back.
"Well, now that that's settled," said Kuroi, "Kobayakawa-san."
"I saw Iwasaki-san taking her to the nurse's office," said Takashi. "I remember she got legitimately sick a lot last year, though most of the time she was at least here for attendance. I hope she'll be feeling better pretty soon..."
"In that case..." said Kuroi. She picked up her cell phone and dialed a number.
In the nurse's office, Amahara-sensei felt her phone vibrate. She opened it up and pressed SEND.
"Amahara speaking," she said.
"This is Kuroi," said Kuroi. "Do you have a Kobayakawa Yutaka-san and an Iwasaki Minami-san there?"
"Yes, they're here," said Amahara. "Do you want me to put either one on?"
"No, that's fine," said Kuroi. "Just checking what I'd heard. How is Kobayakawa-san doing, anyway?"
"I gave her some medicine," replied Amahara, "so she's sleeping it off. She'll probably be well enough before lunchtime, but I can't promise anything."
"Okay, thanks a lot," said Kuroi, and pressed END. "Sounds like she might be well enough by lunch."
"That's good," said Takashi.

At lunch, Takashi was looking around for a place to sit when Yutaka and Minami returned.
"Ah, Kobayakawa-san!" he said. "You're feeling better, then?"
"Yes, thanks," she said, smiling, and she and Minami went to sit with Hiyori.
Ena waved Takashi over.
"Hey, Mizuhara-san!" she said. "Wanna have lunch with us?"
"I'd be glad to," said Takashi, and sat down.
"I thought if we're going to be escorting you to class," said Ena, "we should get to know each other a little better."
"In that case, Sakuragi-san," said Takashi, "you two can call me Takashi-kun, if you like."
"Well, then," said Ena, "you can call me Ena-chan. Oh, and this is my other new friend, Ayase Yuno."
"But you can call me Yuno-chan," said Yuno.
"So tell us about yourself, Takashi-kun," said Ena. "Let's start with your family."
"Okay," said Takashi. "I live with my mother, father, older sister, and younger sister. My older sister's in college, and my younger sister is in grade school. We usually like to be together."
"Wow," said Ena. "I guess you've got it good, then, huh? I guess I do, too, with my big brother when he's home."
"I can relate to the little sister aspect," said Yuno, "but it's a little brother with me."
"You in any clubs, Takashi-kun?" asked Ena. "I didn't join any, myself."
"Nope, I didn't join any, either," replied Takashi. "What about you, Yuno-chan?"
"Oh, I'm on the swim team," she said.
"Oh," said Takashi, "so there'll be some times you won't be joining us."
"Unless we hang around school, of course," said Ena.
"No, that's fine," said Yuno, "I wouldn't want to delay you unduly."
"I don't mind hanging around here," said Takashi, "as long as there's nowhere I have to be in a hurry."
"Yeah," said Ena. "We can go to the library or something."
"Okay then," said Yuno.

After school, Takashi, Ena, and Yuno walked to his home together. Along the way, Ena broke into her rendition of "Ryuusei Record".
"You're good," said Takashi when she finished.
"Thanks," said Ena, blushing a bit, "but I'm not that good."
"Think what you want," said Takashi, grinning, "and I'll do the same. Oh, here's my house. Would you two like to come in for a bit?"
"Sure!" said Ena.
"Thank you for inviting us," said Yuno.
The three entered his home and took off their shoes.
"Tadaima!" said Takashi.
"Okaeri!" responded two preteen girls, running up to him. Takashi hugged the one hugging him and kissed the top of her head, and rubbed the top of the other's head.
"You only said you had one younger sister," said Ena, smiling.
"I do," said Takashi, as the hugging stopped. "This is my little sister, Mio."
"How do you do?" she said with a bow.
"And this other girl is Miyakawa Hikage," continued Takashi. "She's a friend of Mio's, and comes over pretty often."
"What about your big sister?" asked Yuno.
"She's probably at the store getting some ingredients for me to cook with," said Takashi. "Including... some meat."
Hikage started to drool a bit. "Meat..."
Takashi spoke in a low voice to his new friends. "Money's tight in her household, so we try to make sure she gets some meat when she comes her."
"It wouldn't be so tight if onee-chan didn't keep buying all that doujinshi..." said Hikage, having overheard. "I love my sister, but it makes things hard when our budget has that as a priority..."
Takashi put his arms around the girl, and she seemed to feel better.
"So, onii-chan," asked Mio, "there are two girls here. Which one's Iwasaki-san?"
"Neither, Mio," said Takashi, chuckling. "This is Ayase Yuno-chan..."
"How do you do?" said Yuno.
"...and this is her friend, Sakuragi Ena-chan."
"Hello!" said Ena.
"She offered to help me get to my classroom, and I accepted," explained Takashi.
"Ahhh..." said Mio. "What about Iwasaki-san?"
"Actually, I... happened to see her with Yu-chan today," said Takashi. "I managed to ask her to get a sick kohai to the nurse's office, but I stammered a lot when I did so."
"You'll get better at talking to her," said Mio, smiling. "I know you will!"
"Thanks, sis," he said, smiling at her. Then he looked at his peers. "I'd... invite you two to dinner, but we're really only set up for one guest. Maybe some other time?"
"I'd like that," said Ena. "And that's okay; I've gotta get going. It was nice meeting you all!"
"Yes," said Yuno, "and perhaps we can meet your big sister sometime!"
"Maybe you will," said Takashi as the two teens put their shoes on to leave.
"See you tomorrow!" said the girls as they left.
"See you tomorrow!" replied Takashi, and went back inside. He sat down at the kotatsu and was soon joined on either side by his little sister and her friend. He tickled their tummies, causing delightful laughter to come from both of them.
