The rookies are solid in the ring...most of them. I really think this group of guys looks good on paper...but I'll get to the rookies in a minute.

First off I want to talk about the guys that aren't rookies that NXT is giving a push to. Matt Striker looks as though he may get back in the ring soon, as he's been getting attacked two weeks in a row on NXT. Cody Rhodes is looking strong too. He defeated Lucky Cannon in 3 minutes and 58 seconds, and looked impressive in doing so.

Now, to the rookies. The first elimination is up next week and I'm going to give my run down of what I think of each rookie.

Lucky Cannon- He's got the look, and some decent ring work... but he lacks the certain "it" factor that WWE looks for in its stars. He's good on the mic. don't get me wrong.... but he just doesn't make me want to see him on TV anymore than the next guy.

Alex Riley- This guy is solid in the ring, pretty good on the mic. and he definitely has the "it" factor. I like seeing a solid heel on NXT and with some work he could be the next Miz

Eli Cottonwood- He's okay in the ring, okay on the mic, and I kind of like seeing him work.... but he's just barely flying under the radar. He has nothing that sets him apart from any other Big guy in WWE history.

Husky Harris- He's got some phenomenal ring work, and he's okay on the mic. I just can't see WWE taking him seriously as a top contender. He'd jsut be another guy in the mid card that would get lost in the shuffle.

Kaval- I really like this guy. He's great in the ring, great on the mic, and has "it". I would love to see him win NXT and hope that WWE creative is going somewhere with his losing streak.

Micheal McGillicutty- Joe Hennig rather, he is perfect! Just like his father... Mr. Perfect. I really see no weakness in him. (Did anyone else notice he cut his final thought promo in exactly 45 seconds? Perfect!

Percy Watson- I don't even know where to start with him. Some find him annoying but I think he's great! He's entertaining for sure, and in the ring he works like a young Sting mixed with a young Randy Orton. He's really great. WWE has never had anything quite like him and I think thats why he stands out so much.

Titus O'Neill- This guy is just flying under the radar. He's okay in all manners but okay doesn't make you a WWE superstar!

Overall I think that we could do to eliminate O'Neill, Cottonwood, and Cannon. I hope that WWE makes the right choices here, but as for who has my vote?

Lucky Cannon - I agree with you dude he's got the look, some okay ring work, and pretty good promo skills but like you said he lacks the "it" factor people want nowadays

Alex Riley - Good in ring competitor, Great on the mic like The Miz, has the "it" factor but only one problem with him and its the fact that he is a Heel WWE has far to many of them and hardly any good Face characters that the fans can get behind so I say unless he's a face he shouldnt be signed right away to a brand

Eli Cottonwood - Ah the monster of the group he has some okay ring skills, okay mic skills, and somewhat of the "it" factor and he could do what they we're trying to do with Shad before his Heel (told ya) turn and make him be a big guy with something the fans can like but he will most likely be turned Heel after a few months plus there is already too many giants in WWE

Husky Harris - Good ring work, decent mic skills but problem is he is more of a Tag competitor in FCW with his brother Bo Rotundo and like you said he isnt the kind of guy who really makes you want to watch him

Kaval - If WWE is serious about pushing smaller guys then this man right here is the one to push dont do to him what they did to Bryan Danielson where they have him lose every match and then fire him he has the same potential Bryan had and still has he is capable of being both Face or Heel good on the mic, excellent in ring skills, and definitely has the "it" factor

Micheal McGillicutty - ah Mr. Perfect Jr. not in a disrespectful way but he shouldnt be on this show he should already be on the main roster and he would have been if his partner in The Fortunate Sons stable Brett DiBiase hadnt gotten injured both would be with Ted right now so I dont think he should win not because he doesnt deserve it but because he is basically guaranteed a spot on the main roster

Percy Watson - First they split up The South Beach Party Boys by signing Darren Young up to season 1 but now they bring Percy up to be in season 2 awesome he has good in ring skills, great mic skills, and definitely has the "it" factor plus he brings the fans into his matches also he looks like Steve Urkel on steroids WWE you want a good African American wrestler to push no one better the "Showtime" Percy Watson even Micheal Cole as a Heel (once again told ya) likes Percy Watson

Titus O'Neill - ok ring work, okay mic skills, has some "it" factor but just like with Husky Harris he doesnt really come as a guy you want to watch every single week

Overall these rookies arent half bad but arent all that good hopefully WWE makes better choices this time around with these guys and who knows if The Nexus continues after this season is over then maybe these guys could be the hero's opposing the villian's of NXT but to my vote it goes to these men right here

"The World Warrior" Kaval (Catchy aint it)

Well, I'm in South Africa so here we just call them black. An African American to us would be like this guild's beloved PJ. Anyways, I don't really know why I like Percy, I thought I'd hate him... but for some reason I just love him, also they couldn't have given him a better mentor than MVP
