■■ | Ugh. This cannot be happening to me. Please, God, say it ain't so and that these stupid crazy dreams sometimes happen completely out of the blue. And leave you with a stone anyway. That doesn't have a kid in it. But, really, who am I kidding?
■■ | I'm assuming you figured it out? Yep. I had a strange, dreamworld trip to the horror that is Ialu. I met with two who I assume are of the older sort. They gave me a pretty looking little stone, but you'll never guess!! It's not just a pretty rock that I get to keep to myself and polish and protect forever. No. Of course not.
■■ | Instead, it's going to be a child. Just like all of the rest of them. I am not happy. So here I sit, scribbling my thoughts down in a new journal by the light of a headlamp that we use when the power goes out, waiting for my brother to wake up and yell at me so I can throw this little emerald rick at him and run.
