This is true. People usually do this when they're begging for help of some kind and they feel like they've lost their support system. It is ALSO true that while some people contemplate suicide and/or want help with their problems, they are also using it in a way to manipulate people to doing what they want, as Acey said (most commonly with the love thing). I have personal experience seeing this first hand with people close to me...so yes, you are both right.
and 9 out of 10 times it's a whiny, needy, clingy stupid PUNK who's too chicken to do it B| ... I haaate people like that. Then again, I do say 9/10 because not everybody's a whiny punk who complains about how their life sucks and they're gonna end it all the dang time. But most anonymous people who do that are either a whiny naggy (teenage) punk who expected wayyy too much out of life and got let down ONE TIME and felt it was over, OR A TROLL.
