A small room, lit by large standing candles behind the desk, houses a desk and a few stacks of books. It is the residence of the Taishō ("General"). The leader of the Land of Iron resides here under constant guard of two Samurai as he preforms his duty.

straightening his posture as cracks riddled rikus spine the drifter nodded taking in a big gulp at the thought that anything said or wrong could have him thrown out or much worse "i-i-understand..." staring back at her riku felt the intensity of the situation but kept cool behind a calm expression.
he had followed after the girl when his calm expression was broken upon the entering of the generals office.he had looked up as the strange couple entered the Taishō's Office and his mind had wandered he was too distracted in the architecture of the room to keep the calm expression for too long when he regained the calm expression a bead of sweat working its way down his head, the land of iron would be the foothold for his journey.....if he proved his worth and they let him.

Despite the grandeur of the room, it was quiet and chilly. A little ways in-front of them sat a....man? It was hard to tell since he had his face practically stuffed in a large, worn out book. He seemed to be huddled close to the candlelight, absorbing what light and heat it provided for him.
After a few moments he peered over his book, acknowledging their presence and stared them both down with his golden eyes. He let them sit there for a moment until he decided to lower his book, using his finger as a placeholder. OH GOODNESS IT WAS A MAN. A very "pretty" looking man non the less. He had nice, silky blond hair that was put up with a few fancy pins. He wore a very dramatic looking Yukata with two katanas at his right side. There was something strangely familiar with the way both Ryuzaki and Honora looked.
Ryuzaki pressed his pale fingers into his eyes and let a out a light sigh. If anything, Honora knew what this look was. It was his reaction to every other ninja that stepped foot in his office. He glanced up at the boy with an ugly scowl and looked him over once before speaking to him. "Who are you and why are you here?" He questioned the boy with a fairly manly voice for his looks. Ryuzaki was straight to the point and made it perfectly clear that the boys presence was unwanted.

Riku had paused staring at the general trying to anticipate anything he might say that could come out fatal to his own health when his train of thought was cut short by the feminine mans simple eight words and he responded to the best of his abilities with the utmost respect in his tone "Sir,My name is riku i have journeyed to the land of iron because well..." he kept a straight unfaltering face "I have lost all memories from where i come from, and since as i can tell you realize--i am a shinobi...i believe if i return to my "home" wherever that may be i could be branded as treasonous for m.i.a and dealt with severely....." sighing and fixing his posture the ninja continued "you see....i don't believe i was strong enough in my past life...and because of that....i was discovered on the verge of death in the land of snow by rescued by a hermit who lived in an ice fishing shack....I want to become stronger...so i can return to from wherever i came from...i know this is a ninja free land so i thought it would be a perfect location to start my journey here and hone my kugutsu....if its alright with you..."
Riku calmly and kindly stared the general in the eyes as he had spoke every word at full attention with an almost perfect straight posture.

It was amazing that Ryuzaki could hold such a straight face, even in the presence of something he loathed so dearly. He listened to Riku without so much as a word, not even a quirk of a brow. Even when he found every single word that came from this boys lips infuriating.
'Become stronger.' Was one of those words. It made him seethe...
"It is hard to fill a cup which is already full, Mister Riku." The General replied stoically as he waved the book in his hand slightly, as if trying to emphasize his point...at least it made sense to Ryuzaki.
"Besides, say somebody from your village found you here. Do you understand the problems it would cause?" Ryuzaki was just making this difficult because he didn't like Ninja. That was obvious though.
"Isn't one of the seven virtues of Bushidō, Benevolence?" Another male voice interrupted Ryuzaki just as he was about to turn Riku down. Behind Honora was a tall man with silver hair that barley touched his shoulders. There was a small squint in his right eye, but one of his most interesting features was his sharp teeth and skin that seemed to give off a murky shimmer. He carried a large sword on his back that looked as if it had teeth. This was Marugao, one of the Generals bodyguards. Though he was hired by the business man that plagued the land with his money, but he did his job well, as long as he was paid...
There was a long pause before the General spoke again. "For once you have a point, Marugao.." Even though Ryuzaki's facial expression was calm and reserved, you could just hear seething rage in the way he spoke. If there was something besides ninja that he hated. It was Marugao.
After a few moments of awkward silence, the General set the book down and folded his hands under his chin. "You may stay for now. Though once you're finished with your business, I want you gone." His eyes sharp as daggers as he spoke to Riku. You could just feel the hate.. "Since Marugao volunteered himself, he'll be escorting you around the village."
"Wait what? No I di-" "Shut up." The General interrupted.
"Think of him as your caretaker. Feel free to ask him for help if you need it. After all...you two share something in common." Yeah...Ryuzaki was pissed. Though it was odd that he didn't just throw a katana at the problem, like he normally did.

Riku had sighed relieved he wouldn't be killed on the spot when the puppet boy then took a respectful bow at the bodyguard noticing his sword and its almost like teeth before noticing any intricate features about the newly aqquanted Marugao when the sharp teeth and large sword rung a bell in his head "yo,your not from around these parts too huh?...." a familiar presence struck sharply at the back of rikus brain but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
"And thank you Ryuzaki,....i promise to stay low profile while in your home" taking an bow out of his train of thought he was deeply grateful

 Marugao Gokiburi
The Generals response was silence as he proceeded with his desk work. It was clear that Ryuzaki just wanted both of them to leave.
Marugao looked at Riku with his gold eyes and smiled pleasantly. There was something...very wrong about this person..thing. "I'm from the Mist village...I came here because of the "benefits". The Ex nin explained and scratched his own neck lightly. "The Mist village is quite strong, however there are more possibilities here. A job that pays exceptionally well."
It was then the two could hear an annoyed sigh coming from the General. A cue Maru could read quite well. It was time to go. "We'll talk outside about what you'll be doing." The man spoke and motioned for Riku to follow him.
(Feel free to reply, I'll make a post in the housing district.)

a sharp presence rang out in the back of his head this was the generals doing as the nin nodded at the general taking a deep bow and then nodded at marugaos comment something about the way the peculiar swordsman carried himself reminded riku of well.....himself.
Riku exited the generals office not looking back he was eager to his task.
