Viktor Gehard Kaufman When Reine had beautifully jumped off the balcony and eventually ran off into the forest, he let her go. Viktor wasn't the kind of guy who needed to know where his girl was ALL THE TIME. After centuries of picking them up, he knew that women liked their space when something like this happened. Yet, they want you to run after them. So he decided on the good middle ground of letting her have an hour or two for herself then he'd track her down. Looking around his room he saw the drops of blood on the sheets, and the clothes strewn around the room. Sighing, he realized that he should go explain what all the screams were about... So, an old The Cure t-shirt and some jeans thrown on he ran down the stairs to the lounge in the human's side of the estate. Just as he expected, they were sitting there looking worried. Of course they all turned around when he walked in and gave him an odd look. Especially Claudette. He felt kind of bad. Just barely, but it was kind of sad thinking that she still thought they had a thing when he has completely no feelings for her. "The screams were nothing. No need for questions. Continue." Viktor walked back out without another glance at Claudette. He wasn't going to lead the poor human on like most Vampires would. But he did feel a little light headed, so he grabbed one of the bags of blood from the fridge. It wasn't the best option, but he just needed something to keep him grounded. Speaking of which, he was still drawn to the forest. So drawn that his feet had unconsciously drawn him to and out the front door. Viktor was still barefoot and he relished the feeling of the grass under his toes even if the sun was shining bright. The sun didn't even bother him as much as before, though it was still annoying. He got to the forest and just walked around, looking at nature. He never stopped and cared for anything. He was a Vampire. That was a bit of a generalization, but really Vampire's didn't care that much. Viktor wasn't sure if he liked being part Lycan. He'd have to adjust himself with emotions again.

Reine looked around at the other patrons of the bar as she sipped at the wine that wasn't nearly as good as Viktor's blood. She gave a tiny sigh and set the cup down on the counter, turning back to the bar tender who gave her a strange look. A man, or a vampire, from what she could tell, sat on the stool next to her's and opened his mouth to greet her. "******** off." She said without batting an eyelash. He grew quiet then got up and walked back to where he had been sitting, obviously not very happy. She sat there for some time, staring down at the counter contently, fascinated with the wood grain. When she looked back up at the clock she was surprised that an hour had gone by, and she stood. Time moved quicker as a vampire, and she didn't like it. She didn't want days or years passing by in the blink of an eye. She turned to leave when the bar tender cleared his throat. She had forgotten to pay him.
She realized that she had no money, but a bitter smile came onto her face. Time to try out some of her new 'powers'. She went back to her spot and looked into his eyes deeply. "I wasn't here." She murmured quietly, and he nodded. It was much easier then she had thought it would be, and she strolled out of the bar without anyone saying a word. She did notice, however, that the vampire that had approached her was still in the bar, but he had risen to follow her. She wanted to see just how strong she was, so instead of going back to the estate she acted as though she hadn't noticed him and walked into a tiny alleyway.
~
Well, that hadn't been the smartest decision she had ever made. Now she was laying on the grimy ground, a silver chain draped over her wrists and chest, the skin underneath it sizzling painfully, and the vampire was looming over her. She kept calm, though, because she knew that Viktor would be able to sense her emotions and a large majority of her thoughts through their connection. She did start to panic, however, when the man bit into her neck. She knew that an instant message would be sent to her maker, saying that someone that wasn't him was chomping on his fledgling.

Viktor Gehard Kaufman Viktor had an interesting enough time walking around staring at plants, sunshine, water, and nature in general surprisingly enough. It was almost like he had finally seen the beauty in all of nature. Man, he felt really sappy right then... Well, he did until he felt Reine's panicked thoughts and the Vampire who was drinking from her. Without even realizing what he was doing, he shifted into a wolf and started sprinting the last few miles out of the estate and to the city. His fur was dark and shiny like an oil slick and fluttered as the wind passed over it. His claws dug into the fresh dirt, then clacked menacingly against the asphalt as he hit the city's outskirts. Viktor took back roads and detours until he got to the small alley where Reine was splayed out on the ground, trapped by a net of silver with a Vampire drinking from her. He immediately knew that she had probably tried to test her powers and had obviously failed. Still in wolf form, Viktor snarled at the Vampire(with whom he was actually acquainted with) turning back to his Vampire form. He gave a warning, he tried holding back his rage as best as he could though he felt the pressure rising in his chest about to burst. "Get away from the girl and leave the alley." His eyes held a fire of authority and anger and his voice remained steady. The other vampire recognized Viktor as a prince and was truth be told intimidated by his quiet anger. He knew to watch for that kind of thing, so he straightened himself and walked back to one of the more supernatural bars. Viktor angrily threw the silver net into the dumpster nearby and walked away back down the alley without another word or glance to Reine. He wasn't going to play these stupid games with her and she was going to have to figure that out soon enough. He's had centuries worth of games and he still didn't find them entertaining after the second time of life endangerment.

Reine stood up, the gnarled flesh where the silver had touched sizzling as it closed up slowly. She knew that the only reason why she had ended up on the ground was because the Vampire was much older then she had expected. She looked over at Viktor, who was walking from the alleyway. He had turned into a wolf, and for some reason, it made her mad. Turning was the only thing that she really had that she enjoyed. It wasn't something that she wanted to share. She wanted to walk after him, but didn't. If she did then it would cast the illusion that she cared, which she didn't.
She turned back into an eagle, her clothes dropping to the ground as she took to the sky. She didn't have anything important back at the estate, and she turned towards the north, where the Lycan capital was. The Lycans where all for fancy things, at least the Royalty, but the city was underground, in a system of huge caves. There were buildings inside the main cavern, which was bigger then most people thought at first. Light shined through tiny holes in the ceiling which supplied the light that was nessasary. The city had a rather old feeling, much more like Italy then Germany. The huge palace stood at the center, and then there were more shops and libraries and such. After another mile or so of cave it abruptly dropped off into the ocean.
She knew that Viktor would sense her leaving, and she didn't want to, she had to say that. It was because he was her maker, she told herself. If he called her, however, she would be forced to turn around and go back, whether she wanted to or not. She arrived at the entrance to the capital several long hours later, and had to admit that she was tired. Snow covered most of the plain that the city was underneath. It was so much colder here then where the Vampires lived, and she had to adjust for a moment. She flew down into the tunnel and through the caves, coming into the huge space that was the main part of the city. She stayed close to the roof that was ten stories tall at least, and she gave a mental sigh of happiness as she landed on the balcony to her room. She shook out her feathers for a moment then hopped onto the floor of her room before changing into a human. She took one step forward then felt strong arms wrap around her, and she promptly passed out.
~
A little less then a day after Reine had flown out of the alley and left the Vampire estate a tiny hummingbird flew towards the huge house, dodging through the forest easily. The winds were much to strong in this part of the country for the tiny bird to fly above the trees; she would just be swept away. After several more minutes of avoiding the tree trunks she got to the house and landed in front of the door, transforming quickly into a girl that looked a little younger then Reine, 21 at oldest. She was on the shorter side and very petite, with a pixie-like face and long, blonde hair. Her big blue eyes traveled over the door quietly for a moment, and she scrunched up her face at the smell of Vampires. She had never been able to grow accustomed to it right away like some of the other Lycans. She had a sprinkling of light freckles across her upper cheeks and nose, and her look was over-all pretty and feminine, unexpected of a Lycan, who was usually dark haired and skinned.
She finally sighed and gave up on the hope that the Vampire would just come out, and instead banged on the door then pushed it open, stepping inside. "Hello!" She called, pushing past a human that had stepped into her path. She didn't have time to deal with people that couldn't help her, or Reine. "Vampire!" She yelled again, crossing her arms.

Viktor Gehard Kaufman Viktor did his best to block Reine from his mind as he bounded back to his house. If she wanted to be with him then he wouldn't resist, but he wasn't going to make a fool of himself by running around after her every time she wanted to be a brat and run away to prove a point or some s**t. He noticed as he walked out of the forest and changed to a mist to float to his room for clothes, that the pull to the earth that he had before wasn't as strong as it was before. And the sun was no longer mildly pleasant, but a vague stinging on his creamy glass skin. Once he had clothes on again, he walked downstairs passing his parent's and giving them a totally fake explanation for why he had been in and out constantly. Viktor didn't care about the lie and he knew that his parents didn't care either. They both just continued each other's life without the other's company. Now extremely dizzy headed, Viktor found the humans and grabbed a girl, giving a slurred explanation and dragging her to an empty lounge. The girl had dark hair like Reine's and large innocent eyes, she was obviously a newer one, so he decided to take it easy on her. Viktor grabbed her shaking, tanned, freckled wrist and bit into it. The girl's panic spiked obviously, so he forced an air of calm and peace on her so she would stop shaking, though she still stared at him drinking her life blood with scared eyes. They all started out like that. Partially satisfied, he let the poor thing go calling a thanks as she shot like a bullet from the couch out of the lounge. Viktor rolled his eyes. Humans... He really had nothing else to do seeing as Reine was gone, so fooling around with her was obviously out. He could invite some friends over... but Vampire's didn't really have friends. More like powerful acquaintances. He could go out to a club or a bar...a Vampire one of course. Any other one would be boring as hell at this time, but Vampire clubs were always their best at high noon. It was a Vampire's midnight. So, he ran out and had a great freaking time at the Vampire club Club VV for hours, bringing home a couple of sexy dames and sending them off sometime after midnight. Vampire's did get a kind of hangover which was what he had when the Lycan had started banging and yelling on his door. Angrily, he walked down the stairs, still in the same clothes from when Reine ran off, and asked "What is it?" to the pale Lycan.

When Reine awoke she was on a cold, thick slabe of granite, staring up at a ceiling made of the same rock that was the foundation for the Lycan city. She knew that she was still in Ivalisca, the capital, but had no idea why she was underneath the already subterranean city. She tried to sit up but realized almost instantly that that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Silver chains as big around as her wrist were draped across her, a heavy weight that was singing her Vampire skin. She let out a little whimper, followed by a growl as she tried to sit up again.
Suddenly a long, hard object came down on her exposed stomach and she let out a loud scream of pain. She looked over and saw a whip, the end decorated with silver spikes and her blood. It had cut through the skin of her stomach which was now healing slowly like a knife through butter. Were her people really that barbaric that they had Vampire torture devices? And what had she done in the first place to end up here? She grew quiet, her eyes stinging with blood tears. She was a Vampire, and had entered the city without permission. As far as the Authority cared, she was a Rogue, Royalty or not.
When she finally saw the face of her tormentor, it was the General of the Lycan defenses, except he wasn't defending anyone, just hurting her. He smiled malicously than came forward, a little box in his hand. "I'm so terribly sorry for this. So to make up for it I had one of my friends run to Tiffany's and get you a little present." He said, opening the box to reveal several peices of Jewlery. She was unable to see them, but gave a bitter smile. "How'd you know I'm a Tiffany's girl?" He laughed then took the jewelry out, placing a large silver necklace around her neck, which was soon joined by a pair of earrings (her ears weren't peirced, but he didn't mind taking care of that), toe rings, an anklet, and bracelets. She was screaming in pain by the time he had finished 'dressing her up', but kept her mind blocked off from Viktor the best she could.
Reine's hair was still fully Lycan, however, and when he reached for it it moved away, cowering. Finally he got his fingers around it and squeezed, making her writhe, until he finally yanked it out, making her scream louder then she had in her life. The hair grew back seconds later, but he kept ripping it out. Eventually he stopped with her hair, but it was mangled and next to lifeless, not moving at all, which scared her. Hours went by, and she was a Newborne, extremely thirsty, even when sated, and she hadn't had anything to drink in a while. Her healing was much slower then usual, and her fangs stayed elongated, try as she might to make them disappear back into her gums.
She knew that if she didn't try her best to keep her mind away from him that he would feel some amount of her pain, and even if it wasn't very much of it, it would still be terrible. Silver was one of the worst things that you could do to a Vampire; it seared their flesh and made them weak, and she was literally covered in it. She gave up on holding back the blood tears but instead let them flow over her cheeks, but she quieted herself. She didn't want to give them too much enjoyment.
The man left for about an hour, and while Reine lay there in nothing but a bra and panties, wasting away, Birdy came in. The little blonde girl looked positively furious, asking Reine if she wanted her to take away all of the silver. Reine told her no, saying that she didn't want her best friend to get in trouble for helping her, but instead told her to go back to Viktor and tell him that she was sorry for being such a pain in the a** and that she wouldn't be bothering him again.
~
The small woman glared up at him. He was tall, much taller then her, who barely hit the 5 foot range. Her hair was seething, obviously restless. She looked around quietly for a moment, then back up at him. "You're Viktor, right? The Vampire that turned Reine?" She asked, tone serious. Reine was her best friend, and even though she loved her to death, she wasn't just going to give up like Reine wanted her to.
"Look, Reine came back home, and since you turned her into a Vampire and she didn't get permission beforehand she was considered a Rogue. They're torturing her now, demanding to know who her maker is so that they can kill you for turning Lycan Royalty (which is against the Lycan Law, just to let you know). She wanted me to tell you that she's sorry for being a pain in the a** and that she won't be comin' round again, but I think that she deserves better then rotting away in that cell." She said. If he didn't want to go to save Reine at first then she would force him to, whether he liked it or not. She may be small, but she was strong, and angry. "They'll pull her fangs out, you know." Pulling a Vampire's fangs out was the most painful and horrid thing that could possibly be done to a Vampire. It was rumored that death was less painful.

Viktor Gehard Kaufman As soon as she had said the word torture he felt a sudden wave of anger and fury, indescribable almost. Viktor hardly even heard anything else she said he was so angry. When she had finished he whipped his head to look back at her and snapped, "Get me there. Now." No way was Viktor going to allow this to happen to his first. No f---ing way he was going to let it happen. At this point he wasn't even angry at Reine for running off to the city like an idiot, really he was just so worried for her. Viktor reached his mind out to her and reached a weak wall that he easily broke down. Of course a wave of diluted pain hit him. Suddenly he felt something similar to a really bad sunburn on his wrists, neck, ears, ankles and even toes and a part of his scalp was stinging as if it had been pulled back tight in rubberband, and throat dry and burning for blood. Now completely and totally furious beyond measure, Viktor tried to send her a bit of his strength.. He couldn't bear to think of her in that pain times a hundred as he sent her a message consisting of basically 'I'm coming, Love' By now, Viktor's fangs were fully out, a menacing sight actually, and his hair was slowly moving in an agitated manner, almost like it would in an anime cartoon. Again Viktor looked at the Werewolf and said "Show me where she is!" He morphed into a full black eagle. He looked more like an over-sized crow or raven, but he was an eagle. Again he didn't realize that he had that power until he turned.

Reine felt him knock down her wall easily, and she cringed, which sent another wave of pain through her. Everything hurt, and she just wanted to die then and there. She knew that he wanted to help her, but his strength just kept her awake longer. She didn't want him to come to her; to save her, because he would just end up getting hurt, and she didn't want that. She slowly began to lull into a troubled sleep, the day making her tired and exhausted. The whip came down on her vulnerable stomach once again and she let out another loud scream.
~
Birdy looked over at him, and was glad that he was going to save Reine. She couldn't stand to see her best friend in pain, whether she was a vampire or not. She pushed the front door open so the he could fly out, then she followed, taking a running start then transforming. Instead of staying under the tree tops she stayed underneath the much larger bird, riding the wind current. Everytime the wind started pushing her away she bumped into him and righted herself.
~
They arrived at the city several more long hours later, longer then it should've taken. The wind had been brutal in some part, but they finally made it. She didn't transform, not wanting him to be seen as a vampire. As long as he stayed a bird, they should be okay. She had him follow her through the cave systems, going down deeper and deeper until they finally arrived at the chamber that she was being kept in. Long before they had gotten close her screams had been audible, echoing through the caves.
Once they entered the chamber the horrible scene was visible, Reine held down by heavy silver, blood tears staining her pale cheeks. The Lycan that had been torturing her was standing above her, hand on her head and a pair of pliers in his free hand. He was yanking on one of her fangs.

Viktor Gehard Kaufman Viktor could feel how weak she was and it killed him to know how much pain she was in for all those long hours flying. He didn't even pay attention to the city while the puny Lycan led him down into the caves. Her screams pierced his eardrums and heart. At this point all of this was hell for him. The one person he has ever really loved in a couple of centuries who also happens to be his first fledgling's screams are echoing throughout a damp, cramped cave that smelled of wet dog and death, where she might be having her fangs removed. He wouldn't even let that thought enter his mind it was so horrifying. Finally the nightmare was over and they entered the room. Then Viktor saw the pliers on her teeth and flipped out. He let out an unearthly howl that sounded vaguely of no, and pinned the man against the wall, hand on his throat. Viktor spat, his teeth gritted "What the Hell do you think you're doing?!" Slamming the man against the wall he continued, "She's f---ing royalty! YOUR Royalty! What the Hell is wrong with you that you can think you can do that?!" By now the Lycan man was coughing up blood and looked completely disorientated. Dropping the male Lycan to the ground, Viktor ran over to Reine on the table. He broke the silver chains and pulled off all the silver jewelry, brushed her hair back and looked at her...Then picked her up, gently set her down, then slammed the other Lycan on the table. Viktor threw the silver chains over him and put the jewelry on him, mumbling "She's my fledgling goddammit!" and the like. Ignoring his cries, he went back over to her, "Reine?"

((sorry, on an iPhone))
Reine let out a breath as he entered the room, the feeling of being back close to her maker bringing blood tears to her eyes. She had missed him more than she had ever missed anyone, and hadn't realized it until he was back; close to her. "Viktor." She breathed, though it came out tiny and choked. She was covered in blood, practically painted red. She had lost so much blood that she was no longer healing, her wounds staying open. Her fangs were peircing her bottom lip, her eyes squeezed shut in pain. Suddenly the silver was gone and she realized she was screaming as he pulled it off and lifted her. No matter how gentle he was pain surged through her, making her dizzy. Finally he came back over to her and she had a moment to realize that he must've hurt himself helping her. Silver hurt Lycans, of course, but it was horrible for vampires. As he lifted her she was thankful that the torturer hadn't had a chance to turn her onto her stomach. Small sobs came from her as he carried her out, and she was shaking in his arms.

Viktor Gehard Kaufman Viktor had not even noticed the searing pain he felt when he had moved the silver chains and jewelry until he heard Reine thinking so, and even still it wasn't that bad. He was just filled with, well joy that his lovely Reine was alright. Holding her tightly but not too tightly against him, he wound his way out into the city. Then he remembered that he had to find a way to get out. If they were seen then it would cause such a stir and they would probably capture her again. Viktor could handle being tortured, but as soon as they would realize that she was his fledgling, then he knows what kind of horrors they would inflict and that he wasn't going to allow. But they did need to get out and find some blood for her. She was on the point of starvation. So, he sat themselves down in the shadows near the entrance, Reine curled up to him. Viktor bit his wrist and let the blood fall into Reine's mouth and let her drink from him. It wouldn't be enough to satisfy her of course, but it would stave most of the hunger off for now, especially so because his blood seemed would seem more potent to her and fill her more. She drank, and he noticed that he wounds weren't healing like they should. He licked her wrists and let the coagulator element in his blood do the rest of the work. Chuckling a little, he spoke "I know it's kind of gross, but it'll make you feel better Princess." The new Viktor even noticed how corny that sounded, but neither the old or the new Viktor stopped himself. It was starting to worry the old Viktor...

Reine felt his blood hit her lips and gave a tiny whimper. She was so incredibly thirsty, and she would drain him if she had had the strength. Her tiny fingers wrapped around his wrist and she sank her fangs into his arm. She drew on the blood hungrily, her eyes closed. She made tiny little moans, then eventually fell back against him. The blood had helped, but not very much, though it was much more potent than any humans. She watched him lick her wrists, and didn't find it gross at all. She was just thankful that the painful burns were healing.
Finally she curled against him, grasping at his chest. "Viktor...." she said, though it was very quiet and difficult to do. She felt completely horrible for running off, away from her maker. If he had wanted he could have commanded her to stay, and she wouldn't had been able to leave, but he hadn't. She could smell the other women on him and a small growl came from her. Though she could die any moment, the thought or Viktor bedding another woman made her tremble with anger. She was just glad to be back with him though. "I-I'm sorry that I left."

Viktor Gehard Kaufman "Don't worry about it. I'm not mad, but we can talk later, need to talk later. Just relax and we'll get you some blood in a sec." Viktor held her closer and stroked her illustrious hair. Smiling at her jealous growl, he tried to figure out how he would manage getting them out of there without being detected. After a few minutes thought, he found the best option would be for Reine to hold on to him in wolf form, so he could carry them out of the city then to find the nearest person with blood. It wasn't the best plan, but the outer limits of the city weren't that far away and his head was still clouded with worry for him to make the best plan. Hey, do you think you're strong enough to hold onto me as a wolf for just a bit?

Reine's eyes fell shut as he grew still, and she could tell that he was trying to find a way out. It would be difficult, bit they would manage it somehow. If he even offered to stay behind and distract them she would slap him, even in the state that she was in now. As soon as she heard his plan she gave a tiny sigh of relief, and nodded. She had a jacket with her that she had grabbed in the way out of the cave, and she stood up slowly, staying in the shadows. If he transformed she could tie herself to him so that she would be able to sleep while they traveled.
