General Rules
1) Follow the ToS~~ There is no excuse for not following the rules of Gaia itself. If you are found breaking one of those rules, you will be banned.
2) Absolutely no spamming, flaming or disrespecting any members or staff AT ANY TIME. This can land you in serious trouble on this forum, just as it would in real life. Repeated offenses and offenders will eventually get you banned from the guild.
3) Do not express your problems with other members on the board. This goes for both real life problems and problems with other members about a role play or profile. If you have a problem with another member on the site, feel free and welcome to PM a staff member. We will deal with the issue as calmly and quickly as we possibly can. Also, if you have certain things you need advice about, feel free to pm certain staff members about it. We'll listen.
4) About sexuality on this site: as much as we tend to forget sometimes, we do have younger members on this forum, so no cybering. Romance is fine, but cybering is a no-no. This is also to comply to Gaia's Terms of Service as well so please refrain from doing anything of the explicit nature.
5) Racism/Racial Slurs will get you into serious trouble. You can be instantly banned from the guild for this type of offense. It is not tolerated and non-negotiable, and on top of that, it WILL be reported to Gaia and could result in you losing the rights to your account. In short, DON'T EVEN THINK IT.
6) Absolutely no cannon characters. They are a cheap way of getting out of creating your won, plus all the cannon characters are dead by now, seeing as how this plot takes places a long time after the plot. Make your own characters or don't post a profile at all. (:
7) NO STEALING CONTENT. If we have noticed that you have taken information and content from someone else's profile without permission, we will send you one warning, and ONLY one warning. If you do not remove the stolen content with 1-4 days, we will ban you from the guild. If there is something on someone else's profile that you find interesting and wish to use something similar to, please PM the member in question and ask permission to use it. Above all, give credit if any content is taken.
8 ) If you don't understand a rule, make sure you ask a staff member or post in the questions board. It's better safe than sorry.

RolePlaying Rules
1) If you join the RPG, please be active. If you don't think you can be dedicated to at least doing something once a week, then this RPG is not for you and we suggest that you do not waste your time applying. If you can't be active for any specific reason, please post in the proper thread and the staff will make sure not to delete you.
2) Do not control or kill off other characters or site-made NPCs without permission. This is called "BUNNYING" and this will get you in trouble for the first time, and could eventually end up in a ban.
3) Do not "auto-hit". This means that you roleplay hitting your opponent before they have a chance to reply. It is always wise to "attempt" a strike. In the same respect, do not "auto-miss" either, unless you are purposefully doing a feint attack. Feint attacks are fake movements used to confuse an opponent into thinking you are attacking from a different angle and it makes the enemy get caught off guard. Auto-hitting falls under what most role players like to call "God-Modding".
4) Do not God-Mod or make your character an invincible monster. This ruins the rpg for yourself and others. This can sometimes be considered a serious offense. However, the loophole to this is that if you have been role playing for a long (I mean at least a year or so of active role playing) time, your profile is flawlessly explained and approved, and you have had your character train hard enough to get so powerful, it can be allowed to have such power. If you as a member don't agree with another member's character being so powerful, pm the Captain of the guild with your problem and it will be addressed.
5) Do not make yourself another player's family member without their permission. This can get you banned instantly. If you wish to be a part of another member's family, send them a PM and asking them if you can join it. This also pertains to using another person's character in any character's profile history or in fact, profile period. ASK FIRST.
6) If you join the forum and have yet to role play in at most two weeks after your character's profile has been accepted or posted, you will be PM'd a warning. If you still do not post, or give a reason as to your inactivity with in a week, then you will be banned.
7) If a character is to be killed by you, or you wish to have a character killed, a staff member (preferably the Captain of the guild) must be notified and informed of this so that it may be approved.
8 ) Post you're posts in the right place. If you're posting IC (In Character), post in any of the Squad Barracks, Los Noches and so on. If you are posting OOC (Out Of Character), there is a specific forum for that as well.
9) In your posts, your character is required to be the main character. A NPC or other character may not be the primary focus of your role-plays to the point that your character has less involvement than they do, or is less important.
10) You may only have two characters. If you neglect posting as either of them, I will personally kill them off myself. (: Some, though, may be given special permission to have more then two characters.

Literacy Rules
1) This guild is considered a Literate Guild. Therefore the RolePlay posts needs to be a minimum of two paragraphs. They also need to be good paragraphs. Not just some kind that you BS'ed your way through. I would prefer longer posts, but I can understand if you have writers block or am having a bad day or something.
2) Use the standard punctuation and grammar. Meaning "Quotations for talking" no *Astrix for action*. Each roleplay post should have good grammar and spelling. It doesn’t have to be 100% perfect, but it should be understandable enough to be read.
3) If your character starts out at low seated rank and you are only writing 1 paragraph or 2 bad paragraphs you won't become a higher ranked seat. Your literacy level determines your ability to gain new ranks.
