Ok I waited for someone to make a topic on this... but I can't wait anymore.
Also. XDDD I was waiting for all those people who had work and stuff to get a chance to find and look up the conferences on youtube or something.
So. What did you guys think? Any games you're excited for? Any features you're excited about?
I really want a DS now that they have it in 3D without glasses. I'm seriously impressed by this. I will totally get one if the leak that Ocarina of Time is getting remade... because that is one of my favorite games. I'm really excited about the Donkey Kong game.
Personally I think Sony took the cake this time. They didn't introduce to us the 3DS, but they did introduce 3D gaming with glasses. They will probably work on the glasses part in the future but at least they're sexy looking. I also like the wand and will probably get it because I'll feel like Sailor Moon. It may not track your entire body like Xbox does, but it looks a whole lot better, and I'm seriously thinking it's going to blow Wii out of the park with its gaming experiences.
I'm also super excited about Steam linking up with Sony. I was so worried that they would link up with Xbox, but now that they have chosen PS3. :'3 I feel a little bit more complete inside.
And Sony's subscription thing? Once I get a job I am totally getting it. BETA TESTING. BETA TESTING! Only 50 bucks a year! biggrin DDDDDDD AH~!!!!! I LOVE YOU PS3 I LOVE YOU FOREVER!
And all these GAMES coming out ommmmg. I NEED a job so I can get these games. ARGH!!!!!!

I happy for alot...inFamous 2,basically the entire Nintendo line up,Marvel vs Capcom 3,and so much more we haven't seen yet...you know what I mean...usually these companys wait the last day to annouce something else big...let's hope they do it again

I ended up not seeing the press conference on Nintendo or Microsoft because I forgot to record it on my DVR...D:
But anywho, yeah, judging from what I've seen, Sony owned this time. I'm super duper excited for Portal 2, Killzone 3, etc. etc. And the Last Guardian? HEEELLLL YESSSS. <3

I didn't watch Nintendo or Microsoft. #1 because I didn't know
the time of those, and #2 because I'm not really a fan of either system.
To me, I feel like Nintendo's only real quality is shelling out games
with titles/characters from the past and that's what gets people
to buy and play their games. If it's not Mario, Link, Metroid,
Pokemon, or any other staple game, it doesn't do well.
And what's sad, is there are other gems on the system that doesn't
get nearly as much credit as they should, like Mad World.
Not saying people are bad for wanting those games, hell even
I only had those games when I had my Wii. But that's all I had,
just like 5 titles. I didn't see the need to keep it around if I
was only going to play 5 games. I had a DS and only 7 games,
but I've played more that I borrowed.
And Microsoft, well you already know the horror story that is my
first Xbox. And red rings they finally began taking care of last
year... Pfft!
I'm sorry, I find it a waste of money to keep having to rebuy a
system because of that defect. I've known people who went
through 4 or 5 systems because of it just to play Halo....
But if you have done that because you have the cash, then w/e.
It's not my money. I'm just a cheap b***h XD
Sony... I love Sony! In the beginning, owning a PS3 was like
being that kid in school with a new toy everyone thought you
were stupid for having. But then as it got popular, everyone
wanted one too! And you felt great knowing you loved it first!
And I do hope that the PS3 does have a long life like the PS2.
LBP2 trailer almost made me cry! XD I also got laughed at
for wanting the first one before it came out! And I've never
had the privilege of playing Portal but I want too! Looks fun!
TO HELL WITH TWISTED METAL AND IT'S DAMN CLOWNS! scream
I'm not down with the whole 3D business, but sadly, everybody
is trying to hop on that gravy train/band wagon called 3D.
Maybe it's partially because I don't think the glasses work for
me.
Seriously! I never see anything pop out! Could it be my vision?
But going to the movies, or buying a tv, is getting more expensive
because of 3D.

I'm more interested in the games for the 3DS than the console itself. Has it said anywhere if you'll be able to play those games on a regular DS?

I haven't really been keeping up E3 news all that well so bear with me if this is out dated. lol
So, new KH game for 3DS and we're getting KH: Coded, right? ffff Square Enix I just want my KH3 already. Quit milking your cash cow already, 'kay? I am really looking forward to Birth by Sleep though. The only reason I'll be buying a PSP come September. I think a new trailer for it premiered at E3. What did you think?

I think getting a PSP would be a good investment because Sony said that they will be releasing more games just for the PSP... that will actually be interesting to play. I'm excited to see what else is going to be released... and maybe once I get some money, I might purchase one myself. smile

I haven't gotten to watch any of the coverage because a) no cable and b) work doesn't leave me with a lot of time.
From what I've heard/read, though, I'm not that impressed. The 3DS is cool, because it's a hand-held thing that does not require anything else, but I'm not going to buy it because I rarely play my DS as it is.
As for the rest of the 3D gaming... it pisses me off. 3D televisions cost thousands and thousands of dollars, and the glasses aren't cheap either. it's just annoying to me that people are willing to pay for something that amounts to little more than a gimmick. Come back when you have VR, then I will be interested. Until then, I'll keep playing my suddenly 'lame' 2D games.
HOWEVER I am uber, uber excited for Halo: Reach to come out. The beta was so excellent. biggrin

Yeah, I never got into the whole 3D thing, partly because I haven't seen anything in 3D in theaters. Is it as great as everyone makes it out to be?

Apparently yes... because you can see it withOUT glasses. And no one has been able to do that before. Give it 10 years, tv's won't require glasses either. razz
