Introduction Hmm..I'm not exactly sure what to say, but then again, I'm not very sure about anything anymore.. This is the basic philosophy of an indecisive, open minded girl.
General I'm actually rather indecisive and curious. I love discussing beliefs and learning new things. Basically, I'm very open to learning new things, but I usually need proof.
God(s)/deities hmm...I've heard of a wide variety of very strange Gods and Goddesses in my short lifetime. But I don't believe in any of them.
Supernaural I have a very strong faith in the supernatural. I worship no one, but I do believe in demons, spirits, and the spirit world. I don't believe in vampires or werewolves or anything crazy like that though.
Psychic Phenomena Unfortunately, I have not experienced anything Pyschic other htan connecting with spirits. Thouh I would love to meet other types of Pyschics.
Religion I have none. I grew up with people that forced me to go to church and forced me to worship god. I hated the people i grew up with so church has always held a negative symbol for me anyways. And I always seem to question religion...
Afterlife I don't know. Seing as I don't believe in anything, I should just die and disapear, but I'm willing to accept that there might be life after death.
Society Society...wow. In my opinion, society has seen better days. There are a lot of people in this world that deserve to die -I wish I had met a lot less of them lol- and a lot of people that deserve to be locked away for horrible crimes. But as this world falls into calamity I think that more and more people are realizing the problem and more kind people that you can trust are showing up. I don't really trust the people I don't know or the government, but I won't stop looking for the good people.
Belonging I used to think that I belonged with the rebels and the emos or whatever you want to call them, but now I'm not exactly sure. One thing I've known for sure is that I do belong with older teens because I just get along better with them for some reason. At the moment, I belong with one or two close friends that understand me and a large group of acquaintances. (I don't like being alone.)
Conclusion I'm still learning a lot about life and still learning what beliefs I want to have. But I'm pretty sure that I have a firm grasp on the idea, and even though I'm a little indecisive here and there, I'm pretty sure I get the big idea.
Feel free to ask whatever you want. ^^

I feel that I must point out that emos are not rebels. They are conformists which, when you consider that they were built upon the idea of non-conformism, are nothing but a bunch of the most odious and hypocritical poseurs. Otherwise you seem quite mature. Skeptical and questioning, but not set in your ways. You're precisely where I feel that you should be at your age. Never stop questioning.

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I never quite got around to it until now. I'm not really sure if this belongs here, but whatever . . .
My mother, my Sensei, my sister and I all believe in energies or "auras" that exist around human beings. Auras are not detailed descriptions of how or what a person is feeling, they usually just add emphasis. It's still important to pay attention to body language and tone instead of depending purely on what you you see in their energy. Not everyone can see them, I'm surprised that three people in my household can and it's even more rare for someone to actually people to touch and manipulate the energy around someone. My mom can do this, and it can get pretty damn annoying . . . Anyways, energies are also slightly based off elements. Everyone has a n element either, Fire, Wind, Water, or Earth. Someone's element does not determine how they act, in fact someone can act rather strangely and in contrary to their element, making it difficult to even figure out what said element is, while others are pretty obvious. For example : My sister's element is fire, it's pretty obvious with how she acts, who she's usually around, ect . . . While on the other hand, I still couldn't guess Matasoga's element, though I'm pretty sure he's water or wind . . . I haven't met him in real life so I don't think I'll be able to figure it out for a while. Elements pretty much determine how your energy feels and reacts to others. Someone with fire with have a very sharp and energetic energy, most of the time, anyways. While water's energy is laid back and peaceful. Lastly, it can determine who you hang around.Someone of Earth isn't going to feel their best if there is a fiery energy constantly feeding off them.
That's pretty much all I know, my mom and Sensei know a lot more than I do, I'm sure but go ahead and ask any questions.

That's interesting. For awhile I was really into learning about auras. I checked out all sorts of books about them from the library but I could never see them so I eventually lost interest and moved on to other things.
When you "see" them, do you actually see something or is it more just a feeling you get?

When you "see" them, do you actually see something or is it more just a feeling you get? You actually see something. For me, it's just a light presence around someone, sometimes it's not even there. Colors depend, of course, and it will flare or pulsate or whatever, also depending. No matter who the person is, colors change pretty often . . . one person doesn't constantly have one color. My mom sees them constantly and she'll walk up to you and fiddle around with your energy, it's pretty hard to explain but it can get annoying sometimes. xD As far as "seeing", I've learned it pretty much depends on the person who is reading the auras. Like everything else, there are different perspectives.

When I was reading about them, I always imagined the different colors sort of like a mood ring, much more complex of course, but generally like that. I don't think I'd want my energy fiddled with, I can see how that could be annoying, especially if you know it's being done. What does she do? Walk up to someone and if they're say, mad, push it around until they aren't quite as mad anymore?

In terms of how I maniulate energy, supposedly, I was of the water descriptor, though I don't remember why. If there is anything really to it then I would be surprised, as it has none of the trappings or methodology of science. I still think of it as psychokinesis. The further you get into the supernatural do I realize something that I should have realized in the first place. You are not a faithless person of science, at all. You just believe what appeals to you, no different than the way Christians do. What you have latched onto is different, but the guiding philosophy of just wanting something a little less mundane to believe in is exactly the same. Yov could chalk it all up to psychosomatics... But you won't, because you're not of a scientific bent.

There aren't many things that can withstand the power of water if it wears at them long enough.
