New York is essentially a battleground where people of all worlds begin to gather either to fight alongside or against each other, along with the monsters that tend to swarm the area in order to hunt down any and all beings gifted with Divine Sight[if you have magic, then by default, you have that sight, and if you are of a family that happens to posses it, genetically, you have it as well!If you somehow managed to get it through other means, you are their prey unless you are going to fight them!]

New York is also rumored to be where the Mount Olympus of the Olympian Gods is currently stationed at, along with being the state in which a branch of the House of Life resides in, so all in all, needless to say, New York is a pretty important position to maintain, at all times!

P.S: The Huntresses of Artemis could be traveling everywhere, and New York could be on the list of places they would travel to, as they hunt for monsters.
