Mitsuki held Misora's hand as she got off of the airways. It was sunset, and they now stood before the gates of the carnival. It was suppossed to be going on for the next few days. Misora was grinning from ear to ear. Mitsuki smiled, happy to see Misora so happy. The carnival wasn't a frequent treat for her, though she enjoyed it greatly. Mitsuki and Misora walked into the large carnival. Some of the carnival's lights had already turned on, and even though it wasn't night it was still a beautiful sight to see. Even the smell of greasy food, sweat, and puke wasn't that offensive with the festive air. The place was already packed. It was a good evening get away from such a nightmarish morning.
Mitsuki and Misora first headed to the food area. There they got corn dogs from a trollish looking man, and ate them in the picnic table area. After they were finished Mitsuki threw away their trash and came back to her and Misora's table.
"So, which ride should we ride first, the rollercoaster, or the ferriswheel?" She asked grinning. Mitsuki was a thrill seeker and loved riding rides.
Misora shook her headas if opposed to the whole idea of riding a ride.
"No, we just ate, and I don't want to puke," she started with a frown.
"I think we shold play some games first, then ride some rides. How about that one over there?" She asked pointing to a darts game.
Following Misora's gaze Mitsuki grinned almost devilishly. Darts was her game of choice. The last time she had missed once she had been thirteen. And then it was because the others kept distracting her. Now she had learned how to keep focus. Besides, where else would Misora of gotten so many plush toys when she was younger?
"Do you think its too early to get a large bear?" She asked eyeing a large bear at least two thirds the size of Misora.
Misora grinned following her gaze.
"As long as you carry it." She said cheerfully, then they both laughed. They got up and went to the game booth.
Behind the counter was a goblin in a colorful costume. He had a toothy grin on his face when Mitsuki and Misora walked up.
"Care for a game?" He asked. Mitsuki smiled even more.
"Sure, but how many balloons do I need to pop to get the bear?" she asked.
"Twelve-" "I'll take that many darts then, Sir." She said interupting him and holding her arm out, showing her bracelet. Her grin was now a bit fierce, though the goblin wasn't too taken aback from this. He kept his toothy grin and took Mitsuki's bracelet, scanned it, then returned it to her. He layed twelve darts down on the counter. Mitsuki took them one by one and popped twelve balloons.
This did surprise the goblin a bit, his toothy grin melting and his eyebrows shooting up. He tryed prying the darts from the board, which was very difficult for him.
"Quite the arm there. Well go ahead and take your prize. Hope you enjoy it. He needed say anything, because Mitsuki already had the bear down and over her shoulder. It was a large stuffed bear, and Mitsuki was grinning ear to ear, and so was Misora. Misora always liked seeing Mitsuki enjoy herself, she knew how much Mitsuki worked and cared for her, it was good seeing her taking time off to relax and have fun for once. They walked on and continued to explore the carnival.
