"This weather makes my body tense.." He muttered to himself as he looked about the place. With the moon barely able to reveal its light it would be hard to see. Thankfully he didn't have much problem.
His usual brown eyes were blue will o' wisps that penetrated the darkness and allowed his vision to go cerulean, revealing just about everything. The empty park and benches. The violent brushes of wind causing the grass to cascade with the little light that they had, but with his sight light was stronger. This vision did allow him to see but shine a bright light on him and he would go blind.
Mayor.. He called, but no response.
Whatever was happening in Sanctum prevented him from going Omniscient and even forming a direct line towards the mayor. He wondered if the people who would have called for the SDD would have gotten a response.
Dark proceeded but then stopped as the ground growled.
"Unusual.."
Again the earth growled, and like a slumbering beast awakening from a deep slumber the ground split beneath Dark. Instinctively he side stepped away and watched the fissure to greaten another ten meters. He extended his hand and with a swirling funnel of flames his Chaos Blade (katana) took form on his right hand.
The wind whistled, but failed to compete with the cry of some beast. Several chains lashed out from the fissure but struck at nothing in particular other than the air. Rather than falling however they formed dimension holes in the air that allowed the chains to hold the weight of whatever was in the other side. The chains straightened, and slowly lifted the beast that utilized them.
"..That was unexpected." Dark muttered, but kept his sword at his side and his stance ready to dash away from his foe.
Hands (longer and bulkier) clutched at the demon's own neck. It's ts head, relatively small in comparison to its hand, wiggled sadly and painful within its own grip, veins prominent beneath the withered skin it seemed to have. Around its body from the forearms and down were the chains (like a cocoon far to big for its on body) that kept it afloat above the fissure it alone had caused to breach Sanctum. Its feet, like talons with the same size as the hands dangled lifelessly out of the chains. Its head, old and ashy, cried weakly as it tried to escape its own hands but could not.
"..How sad to be a demon like you - whatever you are." He said sympathetically. Whether the demon understood him or not he wasn't sure since it continued its hoarse moans and movements.
"I'll end you." He whispered and lowered his katana to point it at the being, his left hand pressing at the back of the scabbard. With a sudden dash he flew towards the beings direction, and only his way he saw its withered lips form a grin.
Within the hollow of his eyes a light shone red at the approaching Dark as it tilted its head in his direction. The light grew brighter, and within a couple of seconds smoke lifted towards the air and the soul energy dispersed out through the dust to strike at trees and anything living around it.
