However even though Ciara_Rocks567 may have donated very little gold amounts and few items her donations are worth more than ULUV010GRL's donations. Why? Well because the items that she has donated were worth a lot of gold. Now you are probably wondering how this is possible but if you really look at it there are items here on Gaia with different gold values. For example a spirit falcon is worth more than a little black dress.
When I the captain reviews everybody's donations unto the guild, I'm not looking for how much stuff you have donated. I'm looking for how much the stuff you donated is worth. When I go to get prizes for donors I give them back the total value of what they have donated.
Sometimes I will check out your profiles to look at your wish lists to see what you may like. So if Ciara_Rocks567 has this awesome expensive dress she wants to get here on Gaia then that is what I will aim to get for her.

Winners are people who have worked to the highest achievements within a contest. These are usually the people who may have donated a lot of gold and/or items unto the guild's bank account. Of course everybody who has donated stuff unto the guild will always be listed but the ones who have worked the hardest will always be seen as the top donors. There is a future Contest Winners Board coming up in the near future.
Prizes are what winners receive for their hardworking efforts. They can be gold, items, or both and usually are the results of what has been donated by guild members. Prizes are always divided based upon how many winners are there for a contest. So if there are 5 winners for a contest and the total donated worth of gold and items that have been sent in by members are worth 1021k then each winner is to receive 101k gold and 101k gold worth of items. However if there are 5 winners for a contest and the total donated worth of gold and items that have been sent in by members are worth 20k then each winner is to receive 2k worth of items and 2k worth of gold. Do you see the difference in the worth of prizes?

Guild Captain and Donations?
My duties for contests is to make sure that winners receive their worth in what they have accomplished. First place should always have the largest portion of winnings and whatever last place is they should always get the smallest portion of winnings. This should make anyone want to be sure that they don't turn up in one of the last few places within any contest. Trust me it's not a very comfortable position to be in because you are less likely to get the amount that you have put in. However if I do see that there is a small problem with the people who have won before I list them I may donate to those people a small portion of my very own gold that I have. By the way, that doesn't mean that I'm going to tell you or that you are going to get a lot of gold. A small amount means a small amount not the whole cake. Just like anybody else here on Gaia I do have my personal quests that I'm working on. I can really care less if you get what you worked hard for or not. Therefore it would be in your best interests to make sure that you're receiving the good of your hard efforts.
Non Contest Donations
There shouldn't have to always be a contest just for you to send in donations. Send in donations unto Zippora7 as much as possible. You can send in trades or maybe even a few items a week that can be placed up for another contest. Help make holding guild contests easier upon me. I can't always be expected to go and get stuff for contests. Sometimes sending in presents with words like "For future contests" or "For future references" is worth more than anything else. Send in presents with new guild ideas included in them. You may not win a award for anything but your greatest rewards maybe that I see a lot of you really want something to be included in the guild or that many of you may want some stuff to be excluded out of the guild and I will take upon a vote and create my final decisions based upon what you want. Note that your ideas have to be very reasonable. So like for example: "I think that we should all get a million gold from the captain every day" is unreasonable. I don't think that there is anybody here who is that wealthy and/or will be willing to give up a million gold to each member each day through trades and gifts. However if you ever find one please let me know.
Where Donations Go
Donations are to be sent to Zippora7, which is the guild's bank account. Now I know a lot of people are confused because when we looked down at the guild's homepage it says "donate gold" or something like that. Now I'm not a comedian but my joke about donations are this:
Ok so my joke isn't worth a penny to laugh at but seriously, the gold that you give to guild itself goes for forums. That's it. If you're unsure about what I'm saying post a question in gaia's forums and see how many people will respond and tell you that it's better to send donations unto who ever is in charge of a guild's donations than to the guild's donation toolbar.
