cuz its over....(yeah it's over)...so say your goodbyes..." ~Following the conclusion of one of the nights divas matches, the music of a man who is no stranger to controversy rings throughout the arena. As Angel makes his way from the back, he meets a surprisingly favorable reaction. He pauses at the top of the stage for a moment before holding his arms out to his sides as gold and white pyros rain down behind him. He then walks down the ramp and after grabbing the mic off the stairs makes his way into the ring, anxious to make his first impression on this companies upper management. As the crowd looks on, Angel begins to speak~
"You know...they tell me WWE:E is the future of this business, and I have to say, watching some of the matches from the locker room in the back I have to say...I am very impressed with a lot of the talent here. The younger guys on this roster have truly put on a show for you fans tonight, and their heart shows each minute that the match that they are in, from the opening bell all the way down till the ref drops his hand for the three count."
~This is met with a strong pop. Angel's respect for younger talent was something a lot of people didn't know about him, and him applauding them for the work they do earned him a sliver of respect from this crowd~
"You know and I get to looking further upward on the roster...to the current list of Champions...and I see a name of the man who stands at the top of this company...Mike Landry. A man who claims that he is 'The Best' that WWE:E has to offer."
~The crowd boos as Landry's name is mentioned, and Angel feeds off of the crowd as he continues to speak~
"And I got to looking at some of Landry's past matches as Champion, and I have to say...as much as I hate to admit it, he is on top of his game. He has faced some of the biggest names on this roster, and defended his belt on each occasion. During his reign as Champion, Mike Landry has shown on numerous occasions, just why he is known as the Innovator of Sports Entertainment today..."
~The crowd isn't sure why Angel is lecturing them on Mike Landry 101, and if Angel doesn't want to lose this crowd, he's gonna have to bring this to a relevant point...and fast~
"But lets look at history shall we...Micheal Jordan gave way to Kobe Bryant. Peyton gave way to Eli...and when Mike Landry faces Angel for the WWE:E Undisputed Championship; The Innovator will kneel before God's Gift to WWE:E, and each and every one of you bbear witness to the start of a new era in WWE:E...Angel's Era!!!!"
~As Angel finished speaking he took his spot in the corner and awaited the start of his upcoming match as Evolution cut to commercial...~
