Gabriel Thanatos Lightning Guardian ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Gabriel gave A.J a rather bored look. He was surprised as his reputation had already reached the other families. "
Guess word travels fast huh?" He began to circle the outer ring listening to chant of the crowd. As he looked over the kid, he noticed the Chiavarone ring. "
Interesting. I suppose I could join your family. I have nothing else to do." He said silently.
Finally making up his mind, Gabriel nodded seemingly to himself. "
Alright, I'll join. But I need to know if your gonna give me a curfew. I don't like being restrained you know?" The chanting became too much for him as he shouted a single "
Shut Up!". The entire room dulled down to little more than a mummer. "
Better." He glanced at Clair and noticed she had gone. He groaned inwardly. "
Dammit." Looking back up at A.J. with a not so pleased look he crossed his arms. "
What type of rank are we talkin'?"

Gabriel had been to the rear of the fight club with the woman, now known as Clair. He had taken it upon himself to speak to her and was surprised when she revealed she was a well known Woman Fighter within the fight clubs in Asia. This had automatically gotten his interest. They had both spent the last few minutes speaking, drinking, and, all in all, having a good time.
Gabriel laughed as a fight broke out between the bartender and a drunk. "How pathetic. They can't even wait until they are in the arena!" Clair was having fun with the others misfortune and he couldn't blame her. Soon he found himself with her arms wrapped around his neck and just after he managed to get his
arms wrapped around her body, some arrogant a** walked up to the couple with a stupid grin on his face. "Oi, Thanatos-sama! Some kid just beat the hell out of Slade!"
Now Slade had been schedual for a fight with Gabriel and since he had been beaten Gabriel automatically moved up in the ranks. He didn't appreciate that one bit. In Gabriel's mind you have to fight to move up, winning by default does not count. "
What?" He asked with a bored, but slightly irritated tone. Clair tucked on his neck before kissing his check. "Looks like you move up, baby." She stated bluntly.
Gabriel let a growl escape his throat before calming himself. "
Yeah, but I hate winning by default. Come on, let's go see who was able to hand Slade his own a**." Clair released Gabriel's neck and followed him until they reached the arena. "
I'll be right back." Clair smiled at the boy in the ring before nodding to Gabriel.
As he made his way to the stairs to the ring, someone in the crowd shouted extremely loud. "
It's the Black Angel! Kuro Tenshi, Gabriel!" He rolled his eyes as he stepped onto the mat and faced the boy. "
Oi! You the one who took down Slade?"

Gabriel had listened to A.J speak. Something about the kid was unusual. He seemed stronger than he lead on to be and Gabriel wanted to experience that power. However, he wasn’t stupid enough to actually fight him with his current strength. A.J. had been looking for a Lightning Guardian and had chosen Gabriel as such. The way the world works these days. It seemed he would be able to uphold the promise he gave to the Galimon Family. He caught the ring a grinned as his new Boss walked out of the club. Putting the ring on his dog tag chain he looked around at the crowd. "
Alright! Which one of you is next?!" The crowd was thrown back into a frenzy as Gabriel’s next opponent walked up.
The man looked to be in his late 20’s and was truly huge and not in an all muscle kind of way. "
Whoa big boy, what the hell did you do eat all of your opponents?" Gabriel stepped to his side of the arena, close to the metal fence that surrounded it. Looking through the metal rings he noticed Clair in a smaller arena fighting a blonde. He smiled; he should have known better. His smile turned into a frown as he heard a very hefty battle cry from the large man. The man had charged at him, which amazed Gabriel since he would have thought the guy would need a power scooter in order to even move. Ducking under the massive arm of the larger man, he spun and aimed a roundhouse kick to the man’s head. Unfortunately, the man had a thick head and was able to literally shake it off. Gabriel mentally cursed himself as he dodged another punch only to be caught by his belt and thrown back against the fence. Not letting the large man gain the upper hand, he dodged the punch aimed for his head and lashed out with a punch of his own to the man’s center chest where he hoped the fat was thin. The large man coughed, but rebelled with his own slug to Gabriel’s shoulder. It barely grazed him, but it gave him a good estimate of how much power tiny was packing in his hits. To say the least, Gabriel was going to avoid those as much as possible. Rolling underneath the man’s next punch, Gabriel found himself in the center of the arena with all eyes on him. He decided that he wanted to get on with the next fight and that he might as well go all out on the man in front of him. "
Let’s go, Tiny Tim." He said with his arms raised in his trade mark Muay Thai stance. As the man charged him once more, Gabriel side stepped and caught him in the jaw with a his elbow slammed into it. Quickly retracting from that attack he through his right fist into the back of the man’s neck and followed up with another elbow jab to the man’s spinal cord. Gabriel watched as his opponent went down; knocked out by the blow to the neck.
As the crowd roared in excitement the announcer made his way into the arena. "Another one down! Give it up for the Kuro Tenshi!" After getting a positive response from the crowd the man continued. "Next up is Rai Takashi! Let’s see a good fight." Gabriel turned to meet his next opponent and was surprised to see a very scrawny kid in his late teens. "
Oh come on…are we just allowing anyone to get into these clubs?" Gabriel turned to look at the announcer who shrugged at the question. Gabriel made a sound of disdain as he turned to face his next opponent. "
Alright let’s go." He said as he held his hand out in an inviting gesture. The boy stayed silent as he rushed at Gabriel who assumed that the boy would be much easier than the large man he had just faced. How wrong he was. Gabriel had thrown several punches, but the boy’s slim body made it almost impossible to get a hit on him. Tiring of the game, Gabriel stepped back and, instead of short straight jabs, he used a full roundhouse which caught the boy in his rib cage. He watched in disbelief as his opponent crumbled to the ground holding his bruised ribs. "
Seriously? Get the hell up!" He yelled as he slammed his foot into the boy’s rib again. His only response was a grunt and a teary eyed look. It was obvious the boy didn’t want to be there, but he didn’t want to give up either. Gabriel concluded that the boy might be fighting for the money and made note to give him some if not all of the award cash. After receiving a death glare from Gabriel, the announcer called the fight, with Gabriel being the winner.
"
This next opponent better be worth my time." He grumbled as he walked to his side of the caged arena. "Certainly hope so too." Looking back toward the arena entrance Gabriel’s cold green stare met an arrogant brown one, that belonged to a man around his size. "
Much better." He said as he readied himself for the next fight by assuming the fighting stance once more. The man did the same, but with a more American boxing form. Once the bell sounded the two eased their way into the center of the arena. After a silent stand off with each anticipating the other to attack first, Gabriel swung his right fist toward the man’s lower ribs. His opponent easily dodged it and threw his own fist at Gabriel’s face. After back stepping and regaining his balance, Gabriel used a combo of a right hook to the jaw and a left upper cut to the stomach. When he was satisfied that the upper cut hit it’s mark he closed the distance between the two receiving a blow to the chest in the mist of movement. Ignoring the blow, Gabriel grabbed onto the man’s shoulder and pulled him forward. On instinct his opponent bent over to cover his face; which was what Gabriel had been hoping for. Using his elbow, Gabriel slammed it into the back of his head, just above the spinal column. When the man refused to go down and fight back with weak punches to Gabriel’s stomach, Gabe resorted to using his Muay Thai once more. He brought his other hand down on the man’s back and pushed him down further. Once he felt he was close enough, Gabriel brought up his knee with much force and smashed it into the man’s face several times before his opponent managed to escape. With blood down his face, the man stumbled back to catch his breath then charged forward. Gabe had expected such a move and ran up to meet him, but instead of colliding together in a wrestler’s embrace, Gabriel leapt up and brought his knee forward. The man had built up too much momentum to stop himself and collided with Gabe’s knee cap to his chest. Gabriel watched as his opponent fell to the mat with a thud as he landed safely after a roll. After the countdown was finished, the Announcer proclaimed Gabriel to have, once again, proved the power of the Romanian Underground Fight Club Champion.
After receiving the money and distributing it back to others, Gabriel locked his attention on the female fights. Clair had moved up in the ranks and was now fighting the Tokyo Champion. She put up a good fight, but somehow ended up with defeat. Afterwards, Gabriel walked up behind her with a smug look on his face. "
You fought well. I was truly entertained. Especially the part where you threw the fight." Clair had been walking away, headed toward the corner they had been at before, but had stopped after hearing Gabriel. "Was it that obvious?" She asked as she continued walking as if it was the last thing on her mind. "
Not unless you have a trained eye for those type of things; no." She smirked and leaned against the wall. "As long as I get my money, she can keep the title for all I care." Gabriel nodded as he loomed over the woman. "
Makes sense. I, for one, am more interested in the fight rather than the money." Closing the gap between them even more, Clair’s brow raised. "So I saw. Didn’t think you would actually just give it all away like that." He smiled down at her then nodded toward the club door. "
I’m about to leave; do you need a ride?" Clair placed a hand on his chest before answer. "Well, since someone did injure my drive, yes I would appreciate a ride."
They walked back to the club’s main entrance and after exchange pleasantries with Sibastian, who gave him a map to his new family house, they climbed into the green and black Mustang and left.
