Vanitas, The First

Vanitas popped up from a whisp of darkness, seemingly unharmed."Getting real tired of these idiots trying to kill me..."He told himself, seemingly frustrated by the efforts at his assassination. He went back to the throne room to rest as he usually did.

arriving in the castle, it looked like it was quiet, but Ignis still felt something strange "it's too quiet" he said as he brought out his keyblade just in case and walked up to the second floor, when suddenly he sensed a darkness and evil most foul and turned to face a man, but he looked more of a ghost than a man, in a black hooded cloak "what are you?" Ignis said in a commanding voice "your future" the man simply said as he extended his hand and a keyblade was called forth and he turned it around so the hilt was facing Ignis "take it" he said as Ignis looked at the keyblade and had a strong urge to take it, but he shook his head "no ... that thing is evil" he said as the ghost twirled the Keyblade around again and stood in a fighting stance and so did Ignis "fool ... you fight the inevitable" he said as their keyblades clashed in battle

as the blades continued to clash, the sparks from them nearly caught the room on fire. the figure then knocked the Keyblade out of Ignis's hands and placed his Keyblade at Ignis's throat but lowers it "why not kill me?" he said as the figure made his Keyblade vanish "because ... you are needed ... but you are not strong enough ... not yet" the figure said as he walked through Ignis and vanished

as Ignis tried to leave, he felt something inside him taking control, it was too strong. after a few minutes, there was nothing of Ignis left, only a hollow shell. just as Master Xehanort had planed. the vessel then opened a corridor of Darkness to Hephaestus to fulfill it's destiny
