Hey, guys. So, this is my issue. I've been seeing this guy for a while, and we've just started having sex. He's quite bigger than I'm used to so afterward I'm usually tender. But today, after sex, I bled a little bit, and have been spotting here and there. I'm a little worried, I guess. Also, even though I'm twenty and have been having sex for three years, I never bled, not even when I lost my virginity. What are the possible reasons that this could be happening? Should I be worried?

Bleeding during and after sex is usually due to dryness. When the v****a is too dry, the friction from sex can be enough to tear it.
So you should be fine. But if it doesn't stop soon, schedule an ob-gyn appointment just to be safe.
In the future, always make sure you are relaxed, in the mood, and well lubricated before putting anything in your v****a. Get a water-based lubricant to keep on hand.

If you haven't been with anyone quite as -ahem- thick as your current partner is, it may actually be a hymen thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the physical "tearing" of the hymen usually doesn't happen all at once. I had something similar to this happen to me with my boyfriend and I was told that it was probably just because of the size difference, and I had been sexually active for a year or so before he and I were intimate. If bleeding continues or is more than spotting, I'd suggest seeing an ob/gyn to be sure.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the bleeding is very light spotting, which is mainly the reason why I'm not freaking about it. I called my obgyn and left a message just in case.
