A black figure, flying across the sky. Landing in a soft patch of flowers. Growling with fangs bared the figure tears at the flowers. "A symbol of love... More like pity..." It spoke with a slight hiss to it's tone of voice.
"Why must I be tormented by that fox... All she does is cry over someone...." It snarled as it sat down. It was a female wind serpent. Her back was covered with red and white scales, down to the tip of her snake tail. Her blood red eyes watched out at the horizon. Her scaly wings were folded at her sides. She frowned as a bumble bee buzzed by her.

Much to his horror, the frozen landscape was gone and in its place, fresh life was left behind. The water was cooling and vivid, and he was very thankful for atleast that. But now he was starting to... enjoy... the weather. The earth had a very pleasant smell, it had a lively scent and it was so new.
Fang shook his head and shared a secret smile with himself. He was going to keep thinking but a shadow interrupted his thoughts. Had it been smaller he would have dismissed it for an eagle or some other bird of prey, but it was too big for that and so he looked up.
With the sun in his eyes he couldn't quite see any color, but then it landed and he mouthed an 'O'. It was a fox. Only not really, unlike him it could fly and like some other furry creatures it had a tail much like his own. And scales!
Completely intrigued Fang walked over to the flowers and wondered why the being seemed so angry. His ears flicked forward completely attentive and curiosity could almost ooze from him. He heard what it said and classified it as a female.
"Love is a very misunderstood and lonely feeling." He stated bluntly, tail swishing back and forth with the utmost patience. A broken heart? He wondered. A friend?

The wind serpent smacked the bumble bee from her view. She sighed as she closed her eyes, enjoying the light breeze of spring. The flowers were torn around her, but only from her reach. She had become tired of her house mate crying over someone they love. " When will she learn to grow a back bone and look for that Maelios..." She growled as she laid down onto her stomach.
The wind serpents tail swished back and forth, flattening the grass and flowers behind her. She watched the lone butterfly flutter from flower to flower. " That'll be me... Alone and searching for something..." She said in almost a whisper as she rested her head on her paws.

Fang entered a brief moment of awkward(ness?) once he figured out she hadn't heard him. Or did and ignored him. Or... oh it could have been anything. His slender muscled tail swished back and forth lazily as he thought about the other possibilities. He wasn't so sure he wanted to aproach the other one now, maybe she was crazy or mentally unstable.
Fang laughed softly at the irony while strands of his dark hair played gently with the wind. He walked closer behind her and stopped near her but not so near that she would feel her privacy was being invaded. Or atleast that was what he was thinking, since she was on the ground resting.
The wind carried the sound of her voice to his ears and whether he had wanted or not, he had heard her. In his opinion she sounded sad or probably jealous now that he thought about it.
"I'm sorry."

The serpent's ears twitched as she heard an unfamiliar voice from behind her. She makes a loud hiss as her tail swishes behind her in a quick pace. She rose to her feet, turning around to see the blue scaled male. She blinked as she became silent with her crimson eyes.
"Why are you apologizing?" The serpent hissed softly as he tail moved back and forth against her hind legs. She was unsure of who this noodle was, but didn't feel threatened when she saw him.
