Saya the Ninetails nodded and followed after Snow. She took out a few more zubats and Golbats along the way.

Kona who was battered and bruised nodded as well. The flame on his back went out. Kona could only take one step before falling down. He needed to take a rest anyways to hopefully gain some health from the onslaught of Zubats and Golbats.

 Saya turned around and went back for Kona. She wrapped 4 of her 9 tails around him and carried him the rest of the way.

 It flies so silently through the dark on its four wings that it may not be noticed even when nearby.
"Silence, my family. Cease your attacks, for these Pokemon are not your enemies."
A dark, sultry voice rang smoothly through the cave's shadows. A pair of bright yellow and red eyes came into view seemingly from nowhere as the Zubat and Golbats all became completely still.
"What quest would bring such travelers to our home?"
The eyes disappeared and a looming four-winged shape detached itself from the cavern's ceiling. The eyes once again reappeared, and a violet bat Pokemon came to rest magnificently before the team of explorers.
"I am Crobat. You seem to have intruded on our family's lost home. May I ask what business you have here? For if there is none..."
Large white fangs became illuminated against the violet shadow.
"I will allow my family to protect their home as they see fit."
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Pluck, Fly, Poison Fang

 It has the ability to foretell natural disasters. It has a life-span of 100 years.
Snow White slowed her headlong flight and turned to face Crobat. She bared her fangs and growled "Truly, you and your family must be lost. There were none of your kind when I last traveled this path." She gestured angrily at her wounded companions. "Were it not for the fact that I can sense disasters before they happened, we might all very well be dead now due to your family. As it is, they will need much rest to recover." She tossed her head and glared at the Crobat, ignoring the disturbed rustling of Zubat and Golbat wings. "We have come through here for nothing more than to reach Cerulean City. You may not be aware of this, hidden away deep in this mountain, but the world above is in danger." She leveled a challenging stare at Crobat. "We seek to get rid of the danger."
Moves: Razor Wind, Bite, Psycho Cut, Slash

 Kona, who was still awake. "Saya, thank you for rescuing me. I guess…" he fell asleep before he could even finish saying what he was about to say.

As for Dee the Sceptile, she had to use Rock Climb several times with Pika and Brock on her back. She too felt worn out. She said, "Too bad their aren't any berries in here. I could use one. Whew. That's a rough climb."
Pika hid behind Dee's back when the swarm came. Dee stood firm and took many wing attacks. "Hey, hey, hey!" She screeched, lowering their defenses.
When she saw the Crobat, Dee added to what Snow was saying, "Forgive us, Madam Crow, I understand why it is you attack us for you too can sense the lurking dangers outside. You had to flee from your original nesting grounds and are feeling the need to stay in a somewhat safe haven. Unfortunately, there is nowhere safer than here at this time. If you would kindly allow us to pass, we will go through as swiftly as possible. We have no intention on disturbing you."
