I think this belongs here--apparently these types of waxings are very sexy to most men and can even make sex easier/more enjoyable?
I apologize if this is in the wrong spot or is a repeat thread.

My question is, does anybody here get regular Brazilian waxes? Male or female, everyone's input is welcome and appreciated.
I'd like to know what you think of them, because I'm considering getting one. I hear it hurts like a mother. >.>;

Also, when the hair starts growing back, is it terribly itchy and unnatractive? How long do you have to let it grow out before you can get another one? On a scale of 1 - 10 (1 being the lowest, as usual), how would you rate the pain of a Brazilian wax?

I've never had one, but I've heard they're extremely painful. sweatdrop Sorry I can't help you more than that.

Just like normal shaving, taking the hair off leaves the skin around the v****a way more exposed than it is used to. That makes it more sensitive. Many women I've talked to say they would get turned on just walking around because of the underwear cloth rubbing against them.

So in that way, yeah I guess it might make sex feel better.

As for guys finding it attractice, that's personal choice. I tried shaving once and my fiance said he found it extremely unattractive because it made me look pre-pubescent. Apparently, he thinks having sex with children is gross wink That being said, I also know men who will refuse to have sex with women who aren't shaved because they find pubic hair to be disgusting. So really, it just depends on the guy.

The growing back stuff -- I've never been waxed, but I can tell you from my shaving experience that yes, it did itch. It's rather embarassing sitting in class with your v****a on fire, actually.

As for the rest, I can't tell you. Sorry smile

I've never waxed, but shaving can be uncomfortable. Trimming before shaving, using shaving cream, shaving with the grain, and hydrocortisone can help with that.

I've shaved once and I never will again. *___*; But I've never gotten a wax. I can tell you from waxing my legs that I don't think it would itch nearly as much as shaving (because the tips of the hair would be soft instead of being sharp little jagged edged things. I trimmed too short once, and those chopped-off tips curled around and poked me, and it itched. T--T;;; ) and I can also tell you that waxing my legs did not hurt nearly as much as I'd been lead to believe. ^^; I was all ready to be screaming and writhing, but actually it was just like... I don't know, it's a bit of a rush, just a lot less painful than you hear about on sitcoms and things. XD;

From experience, it does sting like a b***h but it's worth it if you're looking for a clean look.

The growing back?
It's not half as itchy as shaving, actually, if you top it up with hair minimizing cream mixed in with your daily lotion, it can grow back quite soft.

As with all waxes, the best time to get it done is when the hair is between 0.5 and 1cm long, so that should help you judge how often to get it done.

You get used to it with time though. 3nodding

I have never had it done...but I have been there when it was done to a friend of mine. In all honesty, I've never heard someone scream in such agony as getting a Brazilian wax for the first time. I think I'd had rather heard someone being tortured than to have heard the awful things she began exclaiming in pain.

She told me it was painful to move because it hurt, but she got use to it. According to her, it was worth it though because it felt "so damn smooth it could make a baby's rear jealous."

I never asked her about the itch, but I'm sure she would've complained if it had.

I've thought about it but I can't even stand getting my legs done...I tried once on one patch and I cried like no one's business. It was awful.

i don't get them, but I do shave. It's ncie for guys/girls whent hey go down on you. And its much easier to deal with when you've got your period.

Waxing hurts less the more you do it, but frankly I've never done it enough to have it not hurt.

I suggest getting a beard trimmer and ... well, trimming smile You're less likely to make yourself look like a child, and you can't hurt yourself too much if you leave a guard on.

I find that unless you shave it ALL off, it doesn't itch when it grows back.

I've always wanted to get it done. I've just been to chicken to. I've heard that it does hurt, but it's worth it.
