For those of you who have question on what a Therian is or Where we come from here is some information for you.
What is a Therian?:
Therian in the English language has two distinct definitions:
In taxonomy, the term refers to a member of the Mammalia subclass Theria, consisting of marsupial and placental mammals.
A therian may also be a member of the contemporary subculture of therianthropy, which is based on a spiritual and/or psychological identification with animals.
What is Therianthropy?:
Therianthropy is a phenomenon in which a human strongly identifies in a psychological and/or spiritual way with a certain animal (or creature) to the point of considering themselves to be that animal.
The word Therianthropy comes from the words 'Theri', meaning 'animal', and 'Anthropy', meaning 'human'.
Individuals who believe that they experience therianthropy are called therianthropes, or more commonly, therians. "Were" used to be a common term but has gradually phased out, though some pockets of the subculture continue to use it.
Many therianthropes have commented on the great variation in belief regarding the nature of the phenomena, but the majority agree that the experience is one where a person is an animal (alternatively both human and animal) on the inside and a human on the outside, with the details of this depending on the individual.
The beginning of the use of these terms in recent times has been traced to members of the famous Alt.Horror.Werewolf(AHWw) usenet group, where early modern therians identified as werewolves.
A few people have speculated that the fictional Were-Wolf legend might be traced back to the early Dark Ages, when some people, who were called "Were Wolves", were thought to have an animal soul, and that these early werewolves, were not thought of as monsters, but were actually respected members of the community, also that WereWolves even had a special position in the early church. This has not been verified though, and is still widely speculated upon.
Your Theriotype:
The theriotype of a therian in the animal which they identify with. It is the animal within. A theriotype may be any non-human species, living or extinct, which is natural to earth. Other species (for example dragons, elves and other mythical creatures) are generally considered Otherkin, although this is sometimes disputed.

Otherkin:
Otherkin is a subculture made up of people who consider themselves at least partially non-human or having a connection to a mythical archetype in some way, usually believing to be mythological or legendary creatures. Some Therian people consider themselves to be Otherkin, while many do not recognize the "Otherkin" concept as being as "valid" or "real" as Therianthropy due to the fact that many of the Otherkin archetypes are of "mythical" or "supernatural" creatures. The view on this concept varies from person to person in the Therian community.
Common creatures to which Otherkin claim some connection include angelkin, demonkin, elven-kin, fairies, and even alien-kin. The otherkin community grew out of the elven online community of the early-to-mid-1990s, with the earliest recorded use of the term otherkin appearing in early 1996. Outside of their own subculture, otherkin beliefs are often met with controversy. According to diagnosis criteria put forth by mental health professionals, the belief that one is physically non-human or can be/has been turned into an animal is termed clinical lycanthropy, and is a delusion of varying severity and significance. However, most otherkin are completely aware that they are physically human, or at least, are seen that way.

IF you are a vampire here is how to Identify yourself:
Vampires are generally classified by feeding method. There are two major categories of Vapires, differentiated by main feeding method, they are Psi and Sanguine.
A Psy Vampire is someone who can collect the energy without drinking blood. Energy can be obtained through touch or merely concentrating on the individual. There are several subcategories to a psi vampire, including but not limited to empathic vampires who feeds off of emotions and tantric vampires who feed on sexual energy.
A Sanguine Vampire, or "sang vampire" for short, is someone who actually drinks blood in order to obtain the energy needed. Most sang vampires get their blood from living human donors, who have been medically tested for diseases and fully consent to the practice. There is a theory that Sanguine vampires are another kind of Psychic vampire, and that they feed off blood because they either need more energy than they can get from psychic feeding or they simply do not have the ability to do so.
The war between vampires and werewolves:
There is a myth that there is a war between werewolves and vampires. In reality, there is no war, the concept was only used in books and movies such as Twilight and Underworld (Both of which lifted the concept from the World of Darkness roleplaying games), and from this, new members to the communities and outsiders assume that what is true in fiction is true in reality. In reality, the two communities are actually on generally friendly terms, and often share boards and gatherings.
Vampirism:
Vampirism is a condition that can be caused by a genetic default, or as some believe a viral condition. The exact cause is unknown but in essence Vampirism is a natural inability to produce enough Energy to function normally. Life Energy, also known as Pranic/Prana, Chi/Ki, Chakra, and in the scientific community as Bio-Electric energy is what all forms of life need to survive. Vampires being unable to produce sufficient amounts naturally must take that energy from other sources most often Humans. There are two basic forms of Vampirism, Psychic and Sanguinarian. Psychic Vampires are Capable of stealing loose energy from humans without ever making contact or if they so choose can focus their intent and steal a persons "Core" Energy. Sanguinarians on the other hand feed off blood, blood has high amounts of Iron, Protein as well as Energy to which they can survive off of. There are also "hybrid-Vampires" who have managed to gain the ability to feed off either blood or energy. Certain "Inheritors" Or those Born with the condition have this ability naturally though most other Vampires have to train and force themselves to learn how to feed in both forms.
Tantric Vampire:
A Tantric Vampire is closely related to the Sexual Vampire, the Eros Vampire and the Incubus/Succubus. The difference is...the Sexual vamp feeds from the sexual energies given off by a donor, the Eros vamp inspires and feeds off emotions such as love and lust, the Incubus/Succubus will feed from any of these but only takes, never gives in return. The Tantric Vampire feeds from any of these as well but with other Tantric Vampires and they both give and take creating an intensity that can be rather addictive for both partners involved. They are very good at projecting (to the point of being unaware that they are doing so at times), are often heavily empathic and carry very deep long term connections to those that they partner up with. They are also very sensitive to the energetic signatures of those around them to the point of secluding themselves amongst those of similar energies, not out of a sense of elitism but rather because the chaotic nature of energies that do not resonate well with their own can have adverse effects and cause strange reactions such as mesmerizing those people that they cross paths with to the point of adoration. This is a difficult situation for the Tantric Vampire because or their own highly empathic and compassionate natures, for they do not enjoy the thought of hurting anyone’s feelings and it pains them to see someone “taken in” by this side of them if the feelings are not mutual. And so a certain amount of caution is often learned early on by most of those with a Tantric nature.When it comes to the Tantric feed, it is not the “end zone” of intercourse that is often sought out but rather it is the extremely intoxicating build of energy that occurs beforehand. Foreplay takes on an entirely new meaning to the Tantric. Demonics:
Demonics are humans possesed by demons and can gain life force from humans, similar to vampires.
A human believing to be posessed by a demon is very rare indeed (one in 10 million). A Demonic is one who is incapable of producing emotions or life energy and have adapted to 'feed' off of other human emotions. Common and easy-to-feed-off-of emotions are
-hate
-pain
-anger
-envy
-jealousy
-lust
-deep sorrow
Happiness, on the other hand, can be disgusting and even poisonous to a Demonic. Too much of this can cause sickness, pain, nausea, diarrhea, and eventually death. That is a reason why most Demonics live in heavily populated areas with a high crime rate. Large cities such as Dallas, New York City, and Tokyo are places where there are believed to be Demonics. An experianced demon can even will the people around them to fight and hurt one another, creating a feast of sorts. Demonics cannot will people enough to kill one another and Demonics do not get anything in return from actual death unless it causes emotions in other people.
Demonics can, through chance and breeding, also be Therians. If two Therian parents have a child that child is not guaranteed not to be Demonic. They will also show a slightly lengthened lifespan of about 20 years.
