Last night my fiancée's sister came running downstairs crying. I have never seen her so scared in my entire life. She kept mumbling, "The Scaries are gonna get us. The Scaries are gonna get you." They have a dog that is slowly getting sick named Fluffy, and my fiancée and I bought a dog in October named Meatball. Her sister then continued to say "The Scaries are gonna get fluffy, only meatball can protect her." So to make her feel better my fiancée took Meatball upstairs to her room because meatball had to "chase away" the Scaries. Meatballs' tail normally curls due to the kind ff breed he is but right when he went in the room his tail went in between his legs. When they came downstairs her sister said be careful the Scaries have sharp teeth. I have searched all over the web and can't find anything. Her sister is 15 and is a very down to earth person. The only thing I can think of is she is sad about her dog getting sick and is subconsciously projecting it on herself. I thought it might be some kind of demon or spirit that feeds on fear and sadness but couldn't find anything to prove it. Does anyone have any idea as to what happened?

It's possible she is projecting this herself. What you've describe sounds like something I've seen in a movie before so it's possible that the stress has gotten to her.
