Personality:Haru is very laid back, taking each event in turn with an unruffled calm that got him through college as quickly as he did. He has a bit of a twisted sense of humor, but not at another's expense. Catching flashes of his temper is a bad thing because like most sayings about still waters running deep Haru's temper can be legendary if its managed to get set off.
He's very protective of his friends and his students although from a distance. He lets them try out their wings for themselves rather than stepping in where they can see his actions. Because of this he is a bit manipulative but he always has someone's good at heart.
History:Haru's always wanted to be a teacher, from as far back as he could remember. Because of this he was able to go through school very quickly and graduated top of his class with honours. He's still in good standing with his sister, good enough she lets him come over for dinners on Saturdays and spoil his nieces, his brother calls him from the America constantly where he got transferred for a job, and he's mother is still trying to find him the 'perfect bride' despite all the failed attempts of the past. Its a good thing he loves his family.

Personality: The phrase ‘speak softly and carry a big stick’ may as well have been invented for this man. He doesn’t raise his voice to yell when he’s angry, doesn’t use shouted boasts, doesn’t even get very worked up when he’s encouraging someone or excited. Any feelings he wishes to express he exhibits through his actions. You pissed him off? He’s not going to throw a bunch of curses out. But you might find your new computer password ends up being ‘I’m a d**k’. Or maybe the bank just can’t seem to access your funds. That’s strange, you could have sworn you had money in their yesterday. Or you did him a favor and suddenly your computer has a brand-new firewall system magically appear and that jerk who’s been harassing you can’t figure out why his phone won’t stop ringing in time to ‘marry had a little lamb’. A savant when it comes to computers and hacking, Elias tries not to use his powers for evil (anymore) but sometimes it’s just too easy. He’s not afraid of physical labor if he needs to use it, he’s just much more comfortable operating things from the background.
He has a sense of humor, though it’s a bit odd and easy to miss if you aren’t paying attention. He’s patient with the students, especially the younger ones who are still trying to adjust to high school life. While he can be very strict in a classroom setting, demanding his students actually pay attention or leave, he has no objections to students approaching him for help outside of class for explanations on things they don’t understand. He also doesn’t mind occasionally helping a fellow teacher with a lesson plan, especially if the teacher bribes him with peanut butter cups. They are a rather shameful weakness.
History: There was a time when the name Black Opal meant something in a very expensive computer program was about to go terribly wrong. Alias Black Opal was a computer hacker who specialized in viruses that seemed to destroy and vanish without leaving so much as a segfault behind to for his victims to study. His targets ranged from high end software companies to the public at large. It seemed the man behind them had some kind of grudge against the rest of humanity and sought to destroy them out of sheer malice.
In truth, he was simply bored and wanted to see how far he could go. Elias loved computers from a young age, growing up as the computer industry was roaring to life around him. He loved being able to type something here and watch it affect so many other things. It was just so funny. His teenage pride ate it up, loved hearing people he’d never even met whisper about Black Opal and whatever catastrophe he’d caused for some local business or politician or tv station. If it was connected to the web, he could play with it.
But he screwed up. He messed with the city’s power grid, just causing a couple of blackouts in what he thought were inconsequential places. He was careful to stay away from hospitals or doctor’s offices when he did, but one of the blackouts in a shopping mall went as wrong as possible. Someone tried to find their way out, using a lighter to try and see in the darkness. The fire marshal’s report said they had probably tripped or maybe stood too close to something flammable. Five injuries. One death. The Black Opal did not surface again.
Instead, Elias went back to school. He had no idea what to do with himself and just… kept learning. Without his intellect focused on hacking, he sped through school, discovered he actually loved it. When he got his teaching degree, he was prouder of it than any virus he’d ever created.

Personality: Even though Nao can't talk, he'll show you what he means. He take 'actions speaks louder than words' seriously. He's kind and gentle and 'speaks' from the heart. Though, he's very careful how he acts out what he means, as some people may get the wrong idea.
History: Nao grew up just like any other normal kid. He went to school and got top marks and fit in rather well, all without the help of a voice. Nao graduated highschool a year early and went to school to become a pediatrician. After being a pediatrician for a few years, Nao decided to become a school nurse. He'd still be working with children, even though they were of the highschool age.

Personality: Some say I am rather a cheerful and polite teacher. Really, I can't stand being polite all the time, but it does have its perks. Those who do know me would know that I would rather eat crap than be polite and kind all the time. I tend to use violence a lot to get my point reached, from punching walls to desroying an entire hallway.
History: For Minagi, dressing up was always a habit of his, ever since he was little. He did it at first to make his brother Yukio laugh, but then he actually started to like it. While he was scorned and made fun of, he took no offense and simply countered with a 'you-wish-you-could-look-half-as-good-as-me' type of attitude. But he got his little brother to join in as well, so maybe he;d stop getting picked on for having a girlish looking face.
He was forced out of the orphanage along with his sister after they turned 16. He's been working on trying to get a way to grant himself guardianship, but he couldn't even find him until he applied to teach at this school, which made him excited.

Other: When I was little, I began to crossdress, even going as far as to make my baby brother do it with me. According to the orphanage, before he was sent to foster care, it took three months for them to convince him he was really a boy, not a girl.

Personality:Ash is not very open to anyone, and sees even the remotest thing as being annoying. He doesn't like children or animals, but can get along with a select few people. Why he chooses anyone is open to debate. He is cold, short tempered, and a rational thinker; most of the time he won't fight unless absolutely necessary. He is most easily annoyed by bickering and usually will respond by violence, mostly in the form of whatever is handy. He cares a lot for those he holds close to him, even if he doesn't show it. While he never admits to it, he is still quick to defend others in need.
History:Ash's family is very, VERY Greek. His great-grandfather came over in the hopes of making a better life and ended up building one of the most famous deli's in New York. He has a lot of family members and all of them seem quite determined to run his life for him.
Because of this Ash tends to not like large crowds or groups of people and decided to get out of New York at an early age. He didn't really CHOOSE to become a teacher, it was sort of one of those things that just happened. He moved up the ranks quickly because of his dependability in an emergency and ended up getting transferred to Bell Liberty several years ago thanks to its strange history. Because the Principle is a bit of an emotional idiot, Ash tends to be the real power behind the school.

Personality: Katsumi is impatient, a perfectionist, and will expect nothing less than the best from each and every one of his students. He will not soften his tongue just because someone is sensitive; if a student does something wrong, he will tell him what, and will deal whatever punishment he deserves. If Katsumi dislikes anyone, he will let it be known, though he will never overstep his boundaries as a teacher simply because his is angry. He doesn't very easily express positive emotion, but if he must, or if he somehow manages to become extremely elated, he won't try to hide it much. He's sarcastic, and rather condescending. So just get used to it. He's been an artist since he can remember. He sticks to painting and sketching, and prefers landscaping, though he's been told he has more talent in the area of portraits. He's only ever painted a scant handful of portraits, and sketched less than twice that.
History: Katsumi is, well... normal. Is that hard to believe? The one little difference may be that he was brought up for eight years in Japan. Yes, he can still speak it fluently, no he will not do so just for one's entertainment. In fact, he tries not to relate himself to his heritage at all. He's normal, yes, but that was not because of his parents, necessarily. His mother tried. She was a kind woman, but Katsumi has never known his father. He left his mother before he was even born, and neither Katsumi nor his mother really ever knew why. His mother was troubled, with a very low-paying job. For eight years she managed to get by on her small pay, and he simply learned to live poor. Katsumi always thought of it as a good lesson that everyone should be taught. But she was laid off of her job when it became too hard for her employer to pay her. They had nowhere to go within the country. It was then that his mother got in contact with her parents, living here in this country. With their help, she and Katsumi moved in with her parents until she could find a steady job. From then on Katsumi lived a fairly average life, learned swiftly how to speak English, and moved on. He became interested in teaching art after graduating, and this is where it has gotten him.

Other: Katsumi was only recently employed at Bell Liberty and knows very little of the students.. and he really doesn't know anything about the school in general. It was his first job offering to teach art, and so he took it.. with no knowledge as to what he just got himself into.

Personality: Generally he is a kind hearted man. Always helpful and understanding, he is the one to go to for advice and an ear to listen to. But piss him off and you'll find yourself with a gun pointed at your head. A real gun. One that is loaded with blanks.
History: He was born and raised in a rather normal family. So normal, he actually joined a gang to satisfy his boredom and liven up his life. But he wasn't the normal 'I deal, use, and sell drugs and am wasting my entire life' type of gangster. He was more of a oddball thug. One who would still go to school and be a good person and rarely ever attended meetings of the gang. Hell the only reason they hadn't kicked him out for being a goodie-two-shoes was because no one could outsmart him.
He became a teacher because he thought it'd be interesting seeing different types of students and people. Plus, there was a ghost rumor floating around, which intrigued him. He was a fan of ghost stories, and never hesitates to tell them, no matter who likes them or who doesn't.
He still carries around his handgun, even though he was supposed to not have it on school grounds. A skilled military officer, he managed to be able to keep it, much to the principal's and the vice principal's annoyance. Of course he keeps it out of sight from the two by hiding it in his scarf. Yes his scarf. And underneath his pillow.

Other: He really is nice. And it's rare one manages to piss him off. He's just the type who will go as far as to threaten someone with a gun to get them to turn in their homework.

Personality: Jonathan is homophobic. Very much so on the surface. Deeper down he actually likes guys, though he had a very conservative upbringing, and cannot openly accept such things. He is a very harsh teacher, and believes that discipline is what determines how far your future will take you. He is very open about his prejudices and bias. He is a very determined person, though he is often stubborn.
History: he was raised by a very conservative, rich family descended from nobility. he was often abused by his mother. He was forced to go to church 7 days a week, and after he hit high school, his parents started to get angry when he wouldn't have a girlfriend, as they thought it was his responsibility to pass down the family name. he was often by himself, studying. His parents forced him into sports and other things because they wanted him to be making a name for himself in whatever schools he went to. he became a teacher wasily with his upbringing. his parents would have prefered it if he had gone with something higher paying, but this was the only option they gave him that he thought was acceptable.

Personality: Most people tend to describe me as a calm beauty and a reasonable person. Most of the time, people say I'm not the type to lose my temper as easy as many. However, that only refers to my patients colleagues and friends. But with my idiot brother Minagi, I lose my temper quite often with him. He does plenty of idiotic things that I always have to clean his messes up. It's rather annoying, but regardless, I still care for him.
With Yukio, I am a little bit more gentle and caring than with . While we were in the orphanage I was trying to push out to Yukio that he was a boy, but Minagi managed to keep him convinced that Yukio was a she. Of course the thing was unintentional, but he couldn't help it. Yukio was always being called a girl and Minagi only supported it by making him dress up as one.
History: I would have to say the first fifteen years of my life were hell. My brother from the time he was a baby to the time he was an adult dragged me along everywhere. A few months later, Yukio was born and our mother had passed away a few weeks after giving birth to him. We were dropped in an orphanage and my brother and I stayed there for a while at least til we were old enough to make it on our own. However our leaving gave the chance for Yukio to get taken up by Child Services and away from us. There were times we were able to find him, but most of the time he was out of state.
I lost my eye when I was 19 while me and my brother was preforming an exorcism. Both of us got a degree in teaching, me to fill the void of the rest of the year and my brother who really did want to teach. I became a doctor and registered nurse full-time while Minagi has been doing both odd jobs and subbing for other teachers. This job is the first time he's ever done it full time. But as it looks, I may have to stick near him so I can clean up his messes.
