Listen boy... Chowahae. He couldn't remember the last time he had felt this much happiness bubbling in his chest. It was probably a brand new emotion level for him...But he was enjoying it immensely. But he knew they had to eventually separate, so he tried not to feel too dissapointed when they did. He had something to do now; he agreed to help Yuuya however he could. Akumi nodded slightly, attempting to move forward again. But he was stopped by a small little hinderance in his leg.
Leaning down, Aku clenched his teeth and tore the senbon out of his leg with one quick motion, standing back up and sighing. "I don't know how well I'll be able to move with one leg." He said, wiping the blood off of the weapon before handing it back to Yuuya. "Probably no more than a slow run, if I move through the trees..." He trailed off, wondering how he'd get up in the canopies anyhow. He wasn't the best one legged jumper or climber.
As he waited for Yue's answer and for the feeling to come back to his leg, Akumi let part of his mind wander into the future. What was Yuuya going to do after they killed Master? What was he going to do? He had never been outside of this forest before, save when he traipsed into the cities to kill a target. But all he paid attention to was getting to his kill- he didn't know what the hell was going on outside these forest's walls. And, what happens when Master's death spreads to the others? Akumi had been to another dojo like theirs once; Master had taken him. They were just as brutal, just as bloodthirsty. And there were bound to be more. They didn't know what they would do once Master was found dead, or at least missing. "Yuuya...What are you going to do after you face him?" Aku asked quietly, looking up at Yuuya with genuine curiosity in his eyes, though his face was his usual stoic one. "I don't know what it is, but I think I'm falling in love..."

Jibun de kowasa nakya nara nai hi ga kuru no?~ Nanimo tsukame nai te ~ Yuuya looked down at the leg, grinning sheepishly before kneeling down and rubbing a few places to revive the leg, so to speak. He did the same with the arm that was still paralyzed, removing the senbon with more care than Akumi had for the one in his leg.
"That better?" He asked after cleaning off the retrieved senbon and slipping them into their holders in folds of clothing. He was mentally checking his weapons when Akumi spoke up. He gave Akumi a blank stare for a moment, as though the question was ridiculous.
"Bring proof of his death to my client, then return to my apartment and resume living a semi-normal life until i accept another assassination job... If you wanted to, you could join me." He trailed off at the suggestion, face turning lightly red and he looked away for a bit.
He suddenly felt the need to move. The need to get this job over with. The sooner, the better too. An ominous feeling spurred him on. "We must go now! Further delay will spell ruin." He grabbed the few belongings that were left of his journey to the forest (food, etc) and grabbed Akumi's arm. He moved silently through the forest, in a wide circle that would throw off sub-par trackers.
If possible, he would like to finish this mission with only one casualty; the Master. It was unlikely, but he would prefer avoiding too many casualties.~ Yumemiteta no wa doko made? ~ Barabara ni natta KORAAJU

Listen boy... Chowahae. Akumi nodded his head silently when the other needle was removed. Slowly but surely, he managed to regain control of both his arm and his leg. He put a bit of his weight on the leg, going gradually until he felt himself able to stand on bot legs securely without fear of falling over. He looked up at Yuuya when his question was answered, then down at the ground. A small, lopsided smirk was on his lips. "I don't think I'll have much of a choice after this." He said. But he probably would have asked to join with Yue anyway- it was much better than wandering aimlessly through the rest of his life.
"Ah-" When he was dragged off into the forest, Aku immediately began running as well, shrugging his arm out of Yuuya's grip and attempting to keep stride with him. It still felt awkward running on his injured leg, but he managed rather well.
The Master felt them approaching. From the confines of his chamber, he summoned the man one rank below Akumi, Takato, and ordered him to stop the would-be intruders from getting to him. "Gather up all the men and women you need to kill Akumi and Yuuya." He felt the change in his number one child, and it saddened him...the fact that that man had corrupted his prized child. No matter. He'd be done with soon enough."I don't know what it is, but I think I'm falling in love..."

Kaa-san doushite Sodateta mono made Jibun de kowasa nakya nara nai hi ga kuru no?~ Nanimo tsukame nai te ~ Yue let Akumi run by himself when the other seemed strong enough to do so. Yuuya cursed softly when he felt the change in the forest atmosphere. He knew that the Master was aware of them, probably aware of Akumi‘s betrayal as well, and that more were after them now. He had taken too long reuniting with Akumi.
”We need to hurry.. I can sense more on their way here.” He stated simply, moving to the next tree, an angled path from where they had fought that might throw off pursuit for a little time, to allow Akumi to fully regain muscle control of his limbs that had been paralyzed.
He also sped up, glancing at Akumi to make sure the other was able to follow him without problem. The first one to find them was Takato, which really didn‘t surprise Yue. He stopped a branch away from his one-time friend and readied for the fight that would ensue. He made a gesture with his hand to tell Akumi to stay out of the fight, as Akumi was still slightly affected by the senbon‘s numbing.
The fight started without words, both going all-out at the start. Or, it looked as though Yuuya was going all-out, when he was actually not. It was more like he was playing with Takato. His swords remained sheathed, and his most used weapon was the senbon. He would avoid using the poisoned daggers if he could.
It took less time, a lot less words exchanged, and less work for Yuuya to have Takato paralyzed from the neck down. The man demanded to be killed, then, but Yuuya merely walked up to him and pressed a pressure point in his neck to knock him out before reclaiming his senbon from the various spots he‘d hit Takato.
Wiping them off he turned in time to see a few more lower-leveled students of Master landing around them. They thought that he‘d killed the number two student, as his breathing was so shallow it resembled death. Yuuya prepared for another fight, referring to it as a workout when he spoke in that arrogant tone he‘d used as a child when he was quickly rising up the ranks after Akumi. It had always been close between te two of them, one day he would win, the next it was Akumi winning. They never won twice in a row… until he became number one and Akumi was number two.
Now Akumi was number one, and he thought it was a fitting position for Akumi… But the position of Master would be better suited for Akumi. And if he could be Akumi‘s number one spot… His thoughts went to a place where carnal desires reside, providing him with S&M imagery. One of the things he hated the rest of the world for exposing him to was the various types of fetishes and things people were in to. He really did not need to know about that kind of thing… they even had ‘anime‘ with S&M themes!
If he could, he would protect Akumi from that kind of thing when they go back to his place and back to the real world.~ Yumemiteta no wa doko made? ~ Barabara ni natta KORAAJU Suterare nai no wa Nanimo tsunage nai te Kimi no te tsunaida toki datte… ((I finally posted! Listen boy... Chowahae. After a while, it became relatively effortless to keep up with Yuuya. The pain in his leg had subsided, though his arm still throbbed a little. And he still couldn't move a few of his fingers or bend his elbow all the way. But that didn't impede him from running. He stopped when Yuuya stopped, tensing for a fight but relaxing after he was told to stay out of it. Hmph. Fine. He simy watched and waited, nursing his numb arm as Takato wad relatively quickly taken care of. Akumi had never been a fan of that man, and their dislikevwas probably mutual, so there was no real emotion in him when a former comrade fell.
Aku watched the two other ninja arrive, a small frown touching his lips. What if Yue took the time to paralyze both of them? Surely more would be on them by the time they were finished. And Akumi could be quite impatient sometimes. Seeing as the two landed in front of him, Akumi simply drew two throwing daggers with each hand, aiming for the hamstrings on each of their legs. Who cares if he missed, a dagger in the back of both of your legs was bound to slow you down.
But he didn't miss, and the two reacted as any man with a knife in their leg accordingly would. Akumi had a much more...brutal way of paralyzing his enemies then Yue did. But that was probably his almost complete lack of conscience that tended to fight for him. "Come on, we shouldn't linger for too long." He said quietly, before taking off again in the direction of the dojo's main building again. He sensed most of the students running into the forest, searching for them, which seemed stupid to Akumi. That left the dojo, and the master, with less protection. Not that that devil of a man needed protection, though. Still. It would probably be deceptively easy to get to him. Almost there. He thought to himself. Turning to see if Yuuya was nearby.
||Bleh. Sorry if this is kinda shitty. And I lol'd at the end of your post. XD ||"I don't know what it is, but I think I'm falling in love..."

Kaa-san doushite Sodateta mono made Jibun de kowasa nakya Nara nai hi ga kuru no?~ Nanimo tsukame nai te ~ The next opponents were taken down by Akumi, and Yuuya was fine with it, though he preferred as few casualties as possible. Without answering, Yuuya followed after Akumi. He could hear other students of the Master‘s entering the forest to look for them and grinned at their idiocy.
However the grin faded as they arrived at the dojo and found only the Master standing there waiting for them. The rest were out in the forest like idiots searching for a threat that had already passed the search parties.
”It has been a while, Old Man… I am here to kill you, though you know that already.” Yuuya spoke tauntingly, a mannerism he‘d had as a child and growing up under the Masters teaching. This time, however, there was true malice and hatred in his voice. This had been a job he‘d readily accepted, not even needing any time to make a decision.
He had a personal vendetta against the Master, so the employer would have no need to doubt that he would complete this mission, or die trying. Had it been just him, he would very likely have died even if he did manage to kill the Master. With Akumi, he might not end up dying with the Master… Though should Akumi be gravely injured then he might want to die..
Akumi had been his only light in this dark hell of the Dojo. His rival first, then his friend, then his first crush….which it had taken him leaving the dojo and living in the real world to realize just how deep he felt for Akumi. Then he spent the year he was away trying to get over a hopeless love, until he was given this job and ran into Akumi once more.~ Yumemiteta no wa doko made? ~ Barabara ni natta KORAAJU Suterare nai no wa Nanimo tsunage nai te Kimi no te tsunaida toki datte… ((so sorry to keep you waiting so long! Listen boy... Chowahae. The feeling had now completely returned to his limbs, and he continued to feel better the more he ran. His heart was pounding, for more than a few reasons. He was nervous. Nervous as to what would happen when they confronted their former Master. Nervous as to what the Master would say when he saw that his number one student was now helping the enemy. E was still slightly self-conscious about that, but he was trying to get over.
Aku blinked his eyes and stopped next to Yuuya, digging his nails into his palms as he looked upon the man he used to look at as a father. Now he saw him as a horrible person; an enemy. And Akumi's enemies would always be eliminated.
"Ah, Yuuya...You've grown so much, in al the wrong ways. You even managed to corrupt my star pupil along with you. I'm impressed...yet so dissapointed." The elderly man standing in front of them had a slightly raspy voice, age fought off by years of intense training. He had a katana in one hand, that also acted as somewhat of a cane. Though he didn't really need one. "Killing me will be your official exit exam, then. Go ahead and begin." The man just waited there for the first strike.
Akumi hated this tension, this air of disappointment and hatred. His palms had begun to bleed beneathhos gloves, his nails were biting them so hard. This was one of the first times he'd ever felt antsy and impatient. Someone, just make a move, break this horrible silence. Please. Did he have to do it himself? If so...so be it! He could hold his own against the master- hopefully. Of he could endure enough to become his top student, surely he could handle a two-on-one. Aku's claws were back on his hands, and he slid the blades out of their defenses as his patience wore thinner.
"Tch..." Alright. Screw waiting. Akumi took a quick step forward and vanished, appearing behind the master and quickly swiping at his body with his hand scythes. The man was gone in an instant. Crap. Aku threw his guard back up and his consciousness out, trying to locate the Master to defend and strike back against him.

Jibun de kowasa nakya nara nai hi ga kuru no?~ Nanimo tsukame nai te ~ He wasn‘t given a chance to reply as Akumi made the first move. He cursed under his breath and followed after him. ”Che, impatient much?” The old man was treating this as a final exam kind of thing. He glared at the spot that the old man had moved to, sending throwing daggers which were easily blocked.
He snarled and drew the katana he hadn‘t drawn when facing Aku or any of the others they had fought off on the way there. It was black-bladed, with hints of dark blueish-purple in the reflected metal. The blade had cost a pretty penny, but had been worth the expense.
It was the weapon he would use to bring an end to his old ‘master‘… The man who had killed his parents in front of him then trained him to be a loyal servant and a killer. The man had robbed him of family and a normal life… And yet, because of that, he had been able to meet and fall for Akumi. It was then that he fully realized that he loved Akumi as more than a blood-brother or fellow student. He loved Akumi in the way that parent love each other.~ Yumemiteta no wa doko made? ~ Barabara ni natta KORAAJU
