Romanov De Luca

Personal Information
Name: Romanov De Luca
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Family:
Nationality: Italian French, but grew up in America
Languages: English, Italian, Japanese, French (just for fun since it’s not a country in the guild, and to practice my horrendous French skills XD)
General Information
Flame Type: Lightning
Occupation: Translator
Personality: Hiding behind an innocent face is a bloodthirsty and troubled mind, with an abusive past. Romanov rarely smiles, and when he does, it is usually a twisted, crazed smile for a beast that had its bloodlust sated. Even though he is only 12, Romanov would not hesitate to kill a person slowly, just to hear them scream in pain. Romanov is also a mathematical genius, and often uses his cards to toy with his victims before ultimately ending their lives.
Equipment: 8 throwing knives, headphones, iPod nano,
Biography: Romanov comes from the wealthy De Luca family, well known for its manufacture of military weaponry. However, unknown to the outside world, the De Luca family secretly manufactured dying will flame weapons for the mafia. Romanov was born to the world of the dark, and ever since he could walk he was already trained in the art of killing and slaughter. His family hoped that he could one day wield all the weapons that they manufactured, and rule over the mafia world – and money would flood in to the already wealthy family. Ever since he was two years old, his life consisted of only sleeping, going to school, finishing up homework and training. There was no playtime, and training became his leisure time. The day he turned 12, Romanov did a surprising thing. He turned against his own family, and without a blink of an eye or any sign of hesitation, slaughtered them all with his knives. As he stepped out of his family’s mansion, he took a box and a ring, into whatever awaits him in the outside world.

La Terreur du Bouffon (Jester’s Terror)
Appearance: La Terreur du Bouffon looks like an ordinary stack of 52 playing cards, excluding the jokers. When released from the box, the cards cackle with lightning flames.
Abilities: Each card is surrounded by lightning flames when released, and Romanov can mentally control each and every card as easily as moving his own limbs. When reinforced with his dying will flames, each card becomes harder than steel and sharper than a blade, due to lightning flame’s property of solidification. Each card can amputate a limb as easily as a hot knife through butter.
Attacks: La Colère (Anger)
Romanov’s cards fly into the air, surrounding the enemy from all directions – above, right, left and below. They then release a huge burst of lightning flames, with the enemy in the center. The enemy would be severely sliced up and cut. At higher ranks, the enemy may be severed into several pieces. The more cards form the attack, the stronger it is.
L’haine (Hatred)
Romanov’s cards take a defensive turn, and clutter together to form a shield in any direction he wants. This would block most attacks because lightning flames are the most solid of all flames. At higher ranks, his cards can surround his whole body, forming a “perfect defense” that is extremely hard to break through (not impossible, of course). The more cards form the shield, the stronger it is.
L’envie (Envy) –Unlocked at D rank-
Romanov’s cards fly into the air, and instead of releasing a burst of lightning to cut the enemy, the cards all fly towards the enemy at the same time. This would form an attack that is much sharper and stronger than La Colère, heading towards the enemy from every direction possible. Each card is surrounded by lightning flames, and the enemy may be cut into dozens of pieces.
Le Péché (Sin) –Unlocked at C rank-
The strongest attack of all, this is essentially a combination of all the offensive attacks of the cards. The cards are split into two piles, 26 on each deck. All of them fly into the air and surround the enemy from all directions possible. 26 cards release a huge burst of lightning that cuts up the enemy in the center, the same as La Colere. The remaining 26 cards fly towards the enemy from all directions at the same time, shredding the enemy to pieces. The enemy would have to deal with all the cards flying towards him/her at the same time, as well as the lightning flames around him that slices him/her to pieces. It would not be surprising to see the enemy rendered to pieces of flesh and bone after the attack.
