Makenshi was focusing on whether or not the barriers integrity would hold up to his barrage of fists. He needed to keep focus on her in case would would in fact counter him while he was attack. And she did.

She would break down her barrier and Makenshi would take notice to this. She would then reach for her Scythe and make a swing at his fists. (it wasnt specified whether or not she already held them in hand, or if her hands were free during barrier activation)

Makenshi also had heightened senses due to not being human, but a fox humanoid known as a Kitsune. Upon her grabbing her scythe for her attack Makenshi would leap forward with his left fist out to make a forward blow at his abdomen. He would have his right arm bent with his elbow out, and in front of him to guard from oncoming attacks at that side of his body. In this case it would be her scythe coming in. However, at this close range and his faster movement, it was unlikely she would be able to make a full swing at him in time to stop his counter.

His attempt would be to interrupt her scythe swing by leaping in in the middle of it to make a blow at her body.

"Ora!"

This was the Boshiken strike again. And what was really useful with this technique was that it allowed for the ninja to make an attack at the opponents body, while using their free hand to hold their opponents swinging arm or arms back, stopping them from striking, while the ninja makes an attack.

Now it was uncertain which way the scythe would be coming from, but Makenshi at punching distance would likely close the distance faster than her swing could reach him, possibly causing his attack on her abdomen to succeed and stopping her attack. If connected she would be taking a blazing, above human strength level blow to the body.

This was the plan anyways.

Kayami was ready for this counter however, part of her strategy was to confuse him and he had fallen for it. Once her had grabbed and held her scythe then spun the scythe horizontally. Hoping that this would begin to twist his wrist she would dash up below him and launch him in the air with one of her combat back-flips she had learned in her training. This had no name however unlike his moves.
"Cha!"
When he would be in the air she would wait there in her starting Blood Leg stance that she had taken in the beginning.

Once he would near towards the ground she would use a rapid kick combo changing from his chest, abdomen, and at the knee. If these combos would land she would launch him again, but not into the air. This had no name but if it were her choice it would be the Goku Hikari knockback.

What happened to Makenshi's flaming abdomen blow? Did it connect?

Makenshi was unsure whether or not his flaming fist had hit her in her abdomen or not, as he had originally intended, but apparently that was besides the point.

She was attempting to make a counter.

However, her counter was under the assumption that he had grabbed onto her scythe. This was not the case. The Boshiken Strike was used to block an oncoming strike on the users hands or on the weapons hilt, not grab at the weapon or the opponent.

So during this moment where she would believe he was holding her weapon and she attempted to wrap her weapon around his wrist, he would simple step away from it. This would in turn cancel her throw and the continuation of her attack leaving her weapon spinning awkwardly at nothing.

This also, likely, meant that her arm was outstretched to aid in her weapon's swing, and for her weapons stability.

Did Makenshi's fire fist hit? Who knows. This was now his next movement.

Makenshi already had his right arm up to defend his right side from oncoming scythe attacks he would begin his next move with the Ude Gatame Counter.

Where her arm was used to hold up her scythe (likely left since made unclear and responding to Makenshi's right as stopping the weapon?) Makenshi would shift forward and wrap his right arm above, and around her left arm elbow. Then using his wrist he would push up on her elbow, while holding her left wrist and scythe hand in his own right side elbow and ribs, causing force to be applied onto her elbow joint. Then using his left hand he would push down on her left shoulder, and bending his knee's to lower his weight and apply the Ude Gatame takedown. If connected and she were to come down on the ground he would follow up with a flaming fist pound down on her sternum to cause immense chest pain and burns.

"Fall!"

He would attempt to perform the Ude Gatame on her while she herself was confused about his Boshiken Strike. Countering her own counter with a takedown and chest blow.

Sorry! But yes it did connect I'll add it in.
Kayami still in mid swing her free hand reached to the burned clothing on her stomach. She had not felt the punch connect but she could now feel the burning sensation on her abdomen. But this time she was ready for his combo again. This time she would attempt to use only one move that she learned from Krav Maga this move was called 360 Defense and then using the move Sinking Python to counter his Ude Gatame.

ooc-

You're cool. Just wasnt sure.

Most likely, since Makenshi was leading his Ude Gatame with his right, she was going to counter his right with her Sinking Python. So did she drop her scythe in order to commence this counter? Possibly. Most likely.

Now Makenshi had his right grabbed, but that was all right. He was already using his left to head towards her left shoulder.

Now the counter for the Sinking Python was in an awkward position, as it's initial counter came from a jab, not a grapple. So it was probable to believe that Kayami was starting her counter in an awkward position. She would have to adjust her left arm completely to avoid Makenshi's grapple, while at the same time moving her right immediately to grab his right. Wasting any time in doing so would mean that her grab would fail to reach him in time to intercept his arm wrap. To make this move most effective, it was possibly safe to assume that her right arm and left arm would be above his left arm, making his point A to point B destination clear.

Now this is where the location of Makenshi's left hand was important. He was already inside her abdomen area. And he did already make contact. Now her focus would be placed in her counter to interrupt Makenshi, and her own burning clothes that would soon singe her skin. This was important because Makenshi was already moving his left hand in to grab her shoulder. Most likely she didnt notice or perhaps forgot. There were other movements for her to focus on anyways.

In the moment she would grab Makenshi's right arm it would leave Makenshi's left arm unguarded on the inside of her personal space. And his left hand was already in her shoulder area. So now he could, most likely, make his move without her having enough time to counter. But, instead of pushing her shoulder as he had originally planned, he would attack her left armpit. How? Since his original plan was to grab and push down he would instead grab her shoulder, but push his flaming left thumb into her armpit.

"Hmph!"

Why? He was aiming to cause pressure damage and burning damage to her arterial veins.

What did this mean?
Left unguarded it would not only burn her shoulder, but he would then be causing damage to veins that control not just her left arm, but her entire left side of her body. A little bit of pressure and it was could severe shock pain. Makenshi's added strength and the fire? It would likely cause paralysis. Plus burning? Possibly flesh wound damage, or permanent vein damage.

He would do this while originally intending to grab her shoulder for the Ude Gatame. However, since his right arm was stopped for her to perform her Sinking Python, he would instead change his grab her shoulder and stab her veins with his thumb. And since Makenshi was of the Kitsune, or fox-humanoid species, he had a K9 claw that would also be stabbing into her vein. This would most no obstacle in the way to stop his left hand from intercepting her shoulder.

His plan? Ending the fight with possible permanent paralysis.

Oh you're so nice, paralyzing her permanently.

Kayami was in danger, she could see that he would try to paralyze her but why? She wouldn't be able to fight or do anything in her life. And she would never try to let him do that to her, she's was only a young 16 year-old girl. This will not end well with me if he ever paralyzes me. She now was panicking she need to find a way to get out of this situation. Her force field wouldn't help, and none of her moves or counters would do nothing with him. Now she knew she was out-matched. This man would most likely win and she would be in the hospital probably and have no movement what so ever. She was desperate this time and needed to protect herself. Now she had her force field idea in her head clear as daylight and intended to use it. She would use the move The Reap to trip him and trigger her force field to get her some more time to create an idea that she could escape and most likely win this round.

In my defense, someone in another fight was torn apart and died and they are bringing him back to life. I'm fairly certain even if she was paralyzed for life the med clinic would be able to heal her again.

By the way, good counter.

ic-

Now she had a good counter done to Makenshi. This one he couldnt stop as he was already within her zone. He would be pushed back due to the reap. He would hit the ground fairly hard, but he had a flack jacket to cushion his weight, and as a ninja, falls and rolls were common. He wouldnt be in too much pain, if any, when thrown back.

He would simply push the weight of his legs over his body so he would roll back onto his feet. He would most likely be about six to seven feet away from his opponent. However, she was now in a barrier.

While she would take her time in her barrier he would reach into his cargo pants pocket on his left side, with his left hand, and pull two thick, black, metal kunai out. He would maintain his eye contact on her because at the slightest sign of weakness he would charge in. He would turn over on kunai into his right hand and hold them both like knives, but with his thumb slightly curved to where it would hold the kunai's stable, but if need be, he could throw them.

"You know, there's only so long you can hide in that barrier."
He would say while maintaining his eye contact. He wanted to be sure he wouldnt be rudely interrupted in his sentence like how he was rudely interrupting her counters with his own.

At the same time Makenshi would increase the blaze of his fire. It was originally glowing red hands, but now, now they would be flaming. Small flames, like on a candle, but flames on his hands none-the-less. Why? In doing so he would begin heating up the Kunai's so that when they hit, if they hit, they would burn. Like touching the surface of the oven on your bare skin. This would take a few seconds, of course.

He would simply await his opponent to drop her barrier and the moment she did he would attack.

By this time, most of the smoke would start to be lifting away to show Makenshi and his opponent in face off distance.

He would then take the Jumonji Ninja stance. In this stance he would have his feet spread in a smaller horse stance, apart with his weight lowered slightly, and his arms crossed in an "X" like fashion across his chest. He would stand slightly on the balls of his feet with his weight distributed slightly forward. In this sense, if he needed to kick of and burst out in a quick attack he could. And at 6 feet distance, give or take, it would only take a split second to cut that distance and give her two good burning Kunai to her body.

Now Makenshi wasnt aiming to kill her, but he was aiming to finish this fight soon. And his eyes would never leave her.
