I've posted here befoe about my ghost.
It's just a simple question Ihave right now, however, no real reason behind it.
Why would a spirit be attracted or attached to a person?
Would there be any specific causes, or reasons?
Any way to get rid of it, and how you can tell?

There are actually a lot of reason (in theory) about why spirits would become attached to someone or even something.
The most common one is that the energy or aura of the person they had attached themself too is similiar to that of the spirit itself. If the two energy are alike that attach each other.
Another one is that the spirit may have know the person in this or a past life and has come back to check up or to look out for them.
I've never had this happen to me so I'm not sure how you get rid of it. Maybe going to a local spirital church and asking about Healings could help.

I always thought they grew attached to people because of the energies. My way of viewing it is is like this; you finally found someone who can understand or atleast recognizes your there, would you want to let them go? Especially if an untimely death has occured. YOur energy is probably familiar, or similar to it's own.

Alright.
So if the spirit is similar to me, than it probably doesn't mean me any harm?
I didn't recognize him at all when I saw what he looked like.
Do I just accept it, then?
I don't know, it's wierd, knowing I'm being watched and followed by a spirit.

Spirits very rarely mean us any harm, so I wouldn't worry too much, even if you don't recognize him doesn't mean you were once connected. I mean a gentleman today that knew me (and my Nan) but I didn't recognize him at all. If it bothers you too much just try ignoring the spirit. Sometimes they just leave when theyve had enough. If it doesn't left after a while try asking it. When you feel it near just ask it to back off as it makes you feel uncomfortable.

Spirits all have their own motives, some good, some not so good, some in between.
Some are feeding off someone's energy. Some just want some connection to this world so have a connection to someone that is somewhat open to their influence or whatnot. It is easier to connect with and stuff with people whom are energetically more open.
To get rid of spirits, you can do a cleansing of your energy, detaching and pushing them off, breaking the connections, the links. Also clearing the space and sheilding is important as well, so once you do bounce something off, you can shield yourself so it doesn't come back.
