Pixel Mine
Whenever I said I wanted to change how I ate, it always felt like my mom went out of her way to push ice cream, snacks, soda, and fast food on me. She would ask me 10 times, over and over, if I was sure that I didn't want it, and then start a fight with me asking if I was saying no because I was mad at her. Sometimes, she would get it anyways, and a lot of times she just got it without asking.
That's just like my grandmother (we live with out grandparents right now. Ohhh please hurry up and sell, you stupid house)
If we try and change our diet, she keeps offering the food we're trying to get away from. When my mother was trying to lose weight she kept offering her junk. You don't go to somebody who just want's to be slim, and offer them their favourite fatty foods. And when I was a vegetarian? (I will go back to vegetarian, but it was hard cooking my own meals with my parents, and grandparents cooking too. and my mother is already stressed out enough as it is without having to worry about me)
Anyway, we usually use olive oil for roasting vegies. So when my grandmother finds out I'm a vegetarian, she pours the juices from the roast meat all over the veggies. She knows I love KFC, when she knows I've just gone vegetarian and am craving chicken, she brags about eating at KFC. But yeah, shes always offering us non-organic, fatty foods when she knows we're trying to be healthy. But atleast she's not my mother and can't force it down me.
