Warren and
QuilleranWarren walked into the pool room. Across the pool he saw Quilleran, sticking his feet in the water. Warren walked up to Quilleran and said,
"Hey Quills, have you cooled off yet?"Quilleran, startled by the sudden appearance of Warren, fell into the pool. He flailed in the water, gasping for air.
"WHY?!?!" he gasped.
"Oops." Warren said. He plunged into the water to save Quilleran.
The Cyndaquil sunk beneath the surface.
Warren held his breath and dove beneath the surface of the water.
Quilleran tried to hold his breath, but grew dizzy from the lack of oxygen.
The Bulbasaur had Quilleran in his sights, but couldn't swim fast enough to catch him. He resurfaced.
Quilleran couldn't take it anymore. He had to breathe. He gasped, but found water instead. His vision blurred.
I'll never have an egg now... It's all over... he thought. Then he blacked out.
Warren tried to go after Quilleran again, but his frail state made it impossible. Finally, two vines appeared from his back and they plunged into the water, scooping up Quilleran and bringing him to the surface. He set the Cyndaquil on his back, and swam across the pool to the shallow end. Warren came out of the water. He almost ran out of the room until he saw two other Pokémon come his way. He decided to stay there.
