Right. Meeting time. Yes. Has to go...meet. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Looking up at the man who was holding her hand wasn't reassuring either, as his face was blank save for the bit of awkwardness that was usually there. The pair were quiet as usual, the sound of her hooves hitting the pavement overwhelming any conversations that were going on. Not that there were terribly many, but they were both alright with that.
It was only when they reached their destination and were sitting in the waiting room did the silence seem to have an effect on the small child. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Will he be nice? What if he's mean?. What if he doesn't like her? What if, what if, what if.
Well. Only one way to find out, right?

APoxi arrived shortly after, grinning at the pair. "Hey there! Who're you here to see?" she inquired pleasantly. After all, this little sweetie had two very distinct parents and either were about ready for some meetings.

There was a name, a name that he was supposed to remember, it was...a strange name though, and it hadn't quite stuck in his mind just yet. Thankfully, he had written it down. A small slip of paper was fished out of his pocket and looked at it with a small from. "U...Umim?" Samil seemed to be equally as awkward, even though this was a familiar place. It was the prospect of meeting a rather intimidating sounding new person that was causing the nervousness.

Apoxi looked behind her nervously and coughed a bit. "Yes. Umim. Yeah she's about ready I guess. Sure you wanna meet her first? She's ready and all but Umim can be a bit scary at time. Ann's a bit gentler." best to warn them first, right? She'd have not spoken about it at all, but both the father and the girl seemed really nervous about it. And if they were nervous now, she didn't want to see how they felt about Umim.

"...Would it be better for her to meet Ann first?" He asked, glancing up at Apoxi. Oh dear. Scary has the potential to turn out rather...poorly. Though Angra always seems nervous, it's not really an indication of anything. And hey, can't blame a girl for being nervous when meeting her parents for the first time, can you?

"Well I dunno. Umim's a bit feisty and wild. It scares some kids off. She's also not that nice. Ann tends to be more fun and cuddly and child-friendly but they're both generally not going to hurt the kids here. It's up to you guys though."
Apoxi smiled down at the little girl, trying to perk her up. "You want a lollipop?"

There was a moment of silence as he thought about it for a moment, glancing down at the small child next to him. "Well. I suppose Ann would be better to meet first?"
Samil looked up at Apoxi, tentatively returning her smile. She remembered her as always being nice, so she didn't shy away from her. She also gave a rather enthusiastic nod in response to her question.
Hey. Everyone loves lollipops.

"All right then, follow me." she said, pulling out the lollipop to hand to Samil before they began walking down a hallway nearby.
The room they entered was separated into four different sections - a dense jungle, a small meadow, an empty area that was the only part looking at all like a lab (with metal floors and all), and finally...well that was just so pretty! It was a small lake in an area that was perpetually night. The bridge they crossed was the small cute kind you saw in movies and they arrived in front of a house made from a giant purple toadstool. The ground around it was covered with large puffball dandelion flowers that glowed in the dark, and a small dark purple female with glowing flowers on her body was softly singing to the plants.
"That is Ann."

The lollipop brought a small grin to her face as it was popped into her mouth, some of her nervousness seeming to disappear as she followed the woman. Angra followed a few feet behind, not wanting to interfere with the whole parent meeting thing.
The room they finally got to was....well. It was...somewhat overwhelming. So much to look at at first. Each section of the room seemed to need it's own attention, instead of looking at the room as a whole. Samil, however, didn't seem to have much of a problem with that, and was focused on the area that was dark. The small girl made her way over the bridge, stopping a few feet away from the small woman.
"H'llo." Her voice was quiet, and a bit muffled from the lollipop. But despite her shyness, she did seem to be glowing a bit brighter than usual.

Ann looked up from the flowers and immediately clapped her hands, "Oh hello!" she said, voice a tinny little thing till she promptly grew and was the size of a short and thin human woman. "What's your name? I'm Ann." she greeted, eyes wide with curiosity and mischief as she leaned down to look at Samil. What a pretty little girl!
"She tends to be MUCH more social than some of her counterparts." Apoxi laughed quietly.

Red eyes slowly followed Ann's face as she grew, until she was looking up at her. Glowing fingers gave a small wave before the lollipop was pulled out of her mouth with an audible pop. "Samil," she said quietly, eyes still wide and staring at the woman.

"Wow, Samil - can I call you Sammy? - you're really cute!" the woman told her, wings fluttering as she did and sending some of the smaller poofs flying.
"Oops! Look at me! Sending all of the poofs around!" Ann giggled a bit before crouching to smile at her 'daughter', "So, what's up?"

Sammy? She hadn't gotten a nickname yet, her guardian wasn't the one to really give people nicknames. A relatively enthusiastic nodding answered the woman's question. "Thank you!" The small girl seemed to be coming out of her shell as time went on, her face splitting into a smile as she watched the poofs float around.
"I'm learning about Persia," she said proudly, tail swishing around. "It's old and big and and and...." she trailed off, not quite knowing where to go from there.

"Oooooooooh Purrsha!" the sprite said it with a strange accent, clapping her hands as she did. "That place sounds neat. Isn't that where all the nice rugs come from?" Ann's question was a little silly, but well meant and excited.
"What sorts of other things have you learned about? I wanna hear all about it!"
