The History It is now the year 4000 A.D. Every human on Earth has been wiped out, as well as any other intelligent life form in the universe. That is, all but one: The Anima. This species is one that is essentially living forms of pure energy. They have small plasma bodies that look like white glowing orbs of silver and can only exist in the conditions of their own planet. That is, unless they take on the bodies of the new climates natural inhabitants.
Taking the knowledge of how they can exist in other worlds, the Anima took this as a chance to save dying planets. To do this, they would first convince a single member of the dominant species of a planet to take a life of their own species and implant one of the Anima into the body of the dead, or near dear, creature. From this step on, they slowly begin to take over the world until all its dominant species have been taken over. From here, they begin to change the world to save the planet. At first, it seemed like a good idea. However, none of the Anima considered saving a few members of each world’s dominant species to allow them to repopulate and give the species a second chance on their planet. Soon, this resulted in the Anima being the only species left, living in the bodies of each world’s inhabitants.

The Way of the Anima The Anima are born on their home planet Termus (pronounced tare-moss), and live their first 100 years there, gaining the infinite knowledge of each world, its once dominant species, the bodies of said species, and the other creatures on each planet. Once their knowledge has been gained, they are given the option from age 101, and every 5 years after that, to travel to other planets and begin their lives at different spots in the universe. Some choose to leave at the age 101, some choose to obtain more knowledge first. Most travel through many planets before they find one they enjoy enough to call “home”. Once a on a new planet, the Anima will live its life as that species would until its body is near death. Moments before the body dies, the Anima makes its wishes clear, and then is removed while the host body dies. If it wishes to travel to another planet, then it is sent to that planet. If it identifies this one it’s on as its “home”, then it is transferred to another body.
The Anima gives birth to its own species in a much different way. Only a female is required. They will essentially, implode, resulting in “breaks” and “pieces” of themselves. These “breaks” and “pieces” become a newborn Anima.
If the Anima has overtaken the planet, the how do they transfer from body to body once establishing a “home” or a new Anima comes into the world? Simple procreation via its host species.

The Planets The Planet of Ancient Beasts: A planet where the dominant species is dragons of all elements. Many other animals live on this planet as well, but they live only to help sustain the ecosystem and feed the dragons. The dragons communicate telepathically and verbally (the same way most animals do).
The Planet of Moving Plants: A planet where the dominant species are simply plants of different varieties. They communicate telepathically and live off the nature that surrounds them. However, these plants have the ability to move should their home become unwanted by pulling their roots from the ground and walking.
The Landless Planet: A planet with no true dominant species, just a variety of many undersea species. There is no land; it is an entire planet of water. They communicate telepathically and through a series of click and songs (like whales and dolphins).
The Planet of Mystery: A planet in which there are two dominant species: Elves and Fairies. It is a land of mystical creatures such as unicorns, elves, nymphs, and fairies. They communicate in the same way humans and animals on earth do.
The Planet of Darkness: A planet forever plunged into darkness by a moon that hides the sun: the dominant species – Vampires. There are other animals and even human-like creatures to sustain the vampires, and the vampires communicate verbally.

Seiryuu is even tempered but naïve for being one of the older Anima. He is kind, dislikes no species, is curious and even a bit adventurous.
History:
Seriyuu lived on Termus much as any other Anima did, studying the worlds in the universe around him. However, he took a particular liking to the world of dragons. He almost fixated on them and craved to live there. When he turned 101, that was the first planet he went to. For another 100 years, The Planet of Ancient Beasts was his home. Until the age of about 197, Seriyuu lived happily as a dragon. He fell in love, made many offspring for more Anima to live in, and foresaw himself living there until he saw his days should end. Unfortunately, the Anima Seiryuu fell in love with decided to end her life span much earlier than he did. Heartbroken, Seiryuu looked into new planets and became almost fixated on another one: Earth. At the age of 200, the dragon body that Seiryuu had lived in finally grew old and passed on, leaving Seiryuu to travel to Earth and try a new life there. He was brought into a child at the human age of 10, and has lived here for 11 years, enjoying the human customs that the Anima kept up, and enjoying the bodies the humans had.

~Rider of Dragons~ Seiryuu  Seiryuu looked around at the beauty of the sky and the small creatures that took to it, birds they were called here, while he sat on the patio of a small coffee shop. His shimmering blue eyes following the birds until they flew out of site. It was a beautiful day and the sun was high in the sky, but there was still a pleasantly cool breeze to keep away the heat and humidity. He had already lived here for eleven years, but he couldn't get over the sheer beauty this world possessed. Of course there were many beauties in The Land of Ancient Beasts, but they were more on a grand scheme of things. The treasures this planet held were outright. The miracles of flight taking place gracefully around them at all time, the sheer scenery of the forests, skies and bodies of water around them.
Seiryuu brought his head out of the clouds and took a cooling sip from his iced coffee. It was one of the few bad human habits the Anima kept around simply because it truly didn't do the body damage if done in proper moderation. It was more of an indulgence to the Anima, such as a spa day might be for the humans. He shook his head at the thought of the picture he had seen of this world before the Anima. It was still beautiful in some of the more untouched places, but in general it was nothing to what it is now. The waters were contaminated with dirt, pollution and unnatural chemicals, turning it green, oil spills ruining ecosystems and killing countless animals, garbage lining the beaches and cities. Seiryuu shuddered slightly. He thought it was a good thing the humans had been overtaken with the way they treated their planet.
Seiryuu's pushed a floating strand of his short, red hair out of his face as he watched the passer-by's now. They were mostly Anima, but the few small human children followed closely to their parents. He smiled as he watched the children, their eyes wide with excitement as they wandered the city. The only true difference between the bodies the Anima inhabited, and the natural humans, were their eyes shimmered in the light and reflected some of it around them, the silver from their bodies acting as natural mirrors in the humans eyes. It was nice seeing the true beauty of the humans eyes, untainted by the silver of an Anima.
