She released him, still giggling, violet eyes bright with joy. "Pfft, if you say so," she said grinning. "I still probably woulda gotten eaten if you hadn't been there," she insisted, since it was true. She'd been bent on touching the swirling colors that she hadn't even thought about what might happen if she did. "I wonder what that thing was...or where it came from..." she murmured. Perhaps if the thing hadn't scared her so badly, she would be tempted to go back, to see if she could figure it out. As it stood however, she wasn't about to go anywhere near that thing. Especially not by herself. Really, at this point, she didn't want to go anywhere by herself.
"So what do you think we should do now?" she asked looking up at him with a soft smile. She liked being around him, he was fun to be with and seemed to like the same things she did, not to mention he was really nice, and sweet.

He chuckled a little bit, blushing only slightly. "I don't think that true..Had it not been for me, you might not have even ventured down there to begin with" he said with a sheepish grin and a nervous chuckle...It would have been very hard on him had something happened.
"I don't know. I'm sure it's not native to this island...much less this planet" he pondered putting a paw to his chin in thought, but he was not given long to think about it as already she was asking another question.
'Well uh...what do you want to do?"

She blinked and stared at him for a moment before bursting into giggles again. He was right; it had been his idea to go into the lake, but she could have said...okay so Violet had never been able to say no to any kind of an adventure and she wasn't about to start now. "Okay, well you got me there," she said with a smile, "but still, I wouldn't have made it out of there without your help," she said again and pushed against his side with her's, playfully shoving him lightly.
"Umm," she said and looked around for a moment before her tummy rumbled its vote. "Maybe we should find something to eat?" she suggested.

"Food?" he echoed...he had to think about it for a while, but his stomach soon made a decision for him as it growled loudly. "I guess food does sound really good right now" he chuckled nervously. He had skipped breakfast that morning in order to hang out with this new fox, and already he could feel the decision fighting back.
"Is there a good place to eat around here or should I just go find food?" he asked out loud, not realizing at first that he was speaking his thoughts

She giggled a bit when she heard his tummy rumble, too. "Hm.." she mused lightly. "I guess it depends on what you're in the mood for," she said brightly. "I know where there's this neat patch of mushrooms! I haven't been able to try them, but they're so pretty!" She giggled again. Another rumble sounded from her stomach. (( *fails so hard* >.<;;;; sorry I haven't responded in so long, there's a lot going on at home ))
