Jianyu frowned.
"Bataar, can't you see the difference?" he asked, pointing a finger at the misshapen letters on the paper. "Look, that's the right way to draw a 'B.' You wrote it facing the other direction. It's pointing towards the left, when it should be pointing towards the right."
Perhaps this had not been such a good idea. But if there was one thing Jianyu wished for Bataar to learn, it was to read. Books and writing were an essential part of life, and it was important for a man like Bataar to learn.
"You're being stubborn." Jianyu said, and thrust the book back at Bataar. "Just write them in the other direction."

He was being treated as if he were stupid; he knew that much. Due to the fact that he actually felt stupid, this sort of thing was frustrating beyond belief. He knew, somewhere in the back of his mind, that he was wrong, and yet he was surprisingly unwilling to accept it. "There is no difference." he responded, grinding his teeth, his tone tight. His temper was about to break, if it hadn't already.
Did it honestly matter what direction the stupid B was facing? Definitely not, from Bat's point of view. "These are just symbols! This is not going to help my manliness!" Oh, Bataar knew the truth, alright!
In short... "YOU LIED!"
He didn't think he was being so stubborn as he slammed his fist into Jianyu's face. Actually, he saw himself as simply fixing up a problem; boyfriend or not, he didn't want to tolerate a filthy liar!
So maybe he hadn't quite gotten enough sleep the night before.
