Well that was back in the day And if you weren't there It doesn't matter anyway Because you wouldn't understand
ok I dont know about the rest of all of you, but I feel like Im getting old, and that me and my friends are starting to grow up, and out of childish things, and we are going to fast. At 18 that is some freeky s**t. I know its normal and all but I want to just share the nostalga. So this is a post your "back in the day" storys and what you miss. I know a lot of you are young, so just post what youve had so far in life.
Back in the day, me and my buddys would blaze bowl after bowl, every other night, we would get so high. We didnt have to worry about life, we just had fun, jammed ot metal, and enjoyed the good days. Now we are all starting to work, and starting to cut back on everything because we have to grow up.

I'm 20 and I feel old. But, I feel as much joy reminscing in the old days as I do experiencing now. It still strikes me as odd that much of today's teen generation don't know who the Smashing Pumpkins are/were. confused
But last night a buddy and I pigged out on back-in-tha-day tv heaven. Speed Racer (okay not so nostalgic for us but still awesome) The Real Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, and so on. Twas fantastic.

my mom says relax...her back in the old days is when she was 39 and cud do bowls and s**t whenever she wanted but now after kids she says it has to be in bursts so we go to festivals and she lets her hair down. she says don't subscribe to what leary used to call "terminal adulthood". it ends in death!!(joke) my mom is 49 but we know many hippies over 50(talk about the old days)who sit aroung doing bowls all day and indulging in metal and rock! rock on brother! keep on trucking!

Man, back in the day me and my buds would spend DAYS at each other's houses drinking Mountain Dew and playing video games. I miss the fort making, the drawing, the exploring tiny woods like it was endless.
Of course, now I think soda in general is absolutely disgusting, but MAN we would drink that stuff like there was no end to it!
Although ya know.. thinking about it all of my nostalgia is for all of the trips out of the country that I would take with my school. Everything else is... comfortably in the past.
