*fidget* Currently I have, like, three that actually sort of connect to what I'm writing:

Wind & Rain - Paul and Kim Caudell - this version specifically, because I like the vocal... uh... dynamic thing going on. The lyrics have nothing to do with my plot but I can't help but see Magnus singing it as a screwed up kind of lullaby. XD

People Ain't No Good - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds A song about, from what I can read into it, a disintegrating marriage - I'm using it as a song about murder.

In my head, kind of a... mashup of Emily's suffocating life before, her desperate attempts to make it in the big city so she doesn't have to go back, and Alex's generally self-destructive life, with a few lines of him being an angsty b*****d about Magnus' death.

I'm too sleep deprived to pick it apart line by line at the moment, but I totally could. XD
